We are not two months into 2012, and not many PPV's. Both RR and Genesis was crap. Only decent shows so far this year has been PWG's Kurt RussellReunion

Yeah name-drop shows nobody can watch.

The best show I seen was when these backyard wrestlers were cutting eachother with scalpers that friday night a few weeks ago.

Pretty ridiculous his big excuse for not working a Wrestlemania was that TNA met some "demand" of his. Sure, I guess that makes sense if his demand was to be on a wrestling program no one watches and promotes everything he stood against in the 90's.

Never have understood Sting, but I'm beginning to see why at least. It's not that I don't understand him because he's a complicated person to understand... I don't understand him because he simply doesn't make any sense. I think deep down he wanted to remain relevant throughout his entire career without ever signing with WWE, but when he speaks of "regret" for never having worked a Wrestlemania, even that doesn't hold water anymore. He probably just wanted to stick it to WWE last year like Hogan and everyone else thought they would when Impact moved to Monday nights for that eventful (lol) 3 or 4 weeks it was on that day. And like everyone else, he probably feels like a tremendous idiot now considering he had a great opportunity to jump ship last year and pissed it away because Val Venis, the Nasty Boys, and Jeff Hardy were all coming over and THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS were going to take off again...

Whatever though, not really a Sting fan, but I enjoy watching his older matches from the late 80's and early 90's. His reluctance to work for Vince won't change that, it's just unfortunate he doesn't really seem to know how to leave his legacy. I bet anything though that if he had the chance to do it all over again, he wouldn't hand over what little future his aging body offered in 2006 to the hands of Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter. I'm sure he probably thought his presence would bring credibility to the promotion, when all it really did, along with everyone else in their 40's and 50's who came over, was destroy everything good TNA had going for it. Not that Sting's presence in TNA was a bad thing, I wouldn't go that far, but it didn't help either.

Seems silly but it isn't farfetched actually for him to like that whole tagline of being one of the biggest names to never sign with WWE. Esp since lets be real it makes him seem bigger than he really is since while he had some runs in his career that were a big deal (mainly the start of him being crow Sting) he's had a lot of years in his career that is nothing more than average.

His early feuds with Flair were better than that Hogan feud tbh. The match quality was certainly better. The only thing really memorable about the whole "Crow Sting" angle was the return itself, everything after that was mediocre as fuck. Completely overrated in every way imaginable.

It never even made sense to me how "Crow Sting" ever got over in the first place. Basing a wrestling personality straight off a popular movie character is the corniest shit ever and has failed, fucking fell flat on it's ASS and thrown in the toilet every other time it's ever been attempted. I'm just going to assume not many WCW fans ever really watched The Crow or had any idea who Brandon Lee was. It wouldn't have been any different if Hulk Hogan, instead of joining the nWo when he turned heel, instead started packing heat with a leather jacket and sunglasses and saying "Asta la vista, baby brother".

Didn't mean quality wise but meant as far as popularity goes that was as popular and relevant as Sting was going to get but that didn't last too long.

As for that crow Sting character I still never watched that movie myself but regardless I liked the change for him even if it didn't really get explained as to why he started being that way. Guess you could assume it was due to NWO taking over the company and changed his attitude or something.

I don't even know why he has regrets if he seriously wanted to go he would've If I was big name even if I had to job to the Undertaker I would've gone there put on the best match possible and earn that big pay cheque and say I was there at Wrestlemania and hell I would've even stuck around for a bit and have some rivalries with some of the other guys like CM Punk and John Cena but thats just me.

I personally hope Sting doesn't come to WWE because he had his chance last year and I don't even think the average WWE fan knows who he is anymore.

I wish Robocop hadn't gotten over rather than The Crow.

This has to happen before he retires. Sting needs to wrestle just one match in WWE to face the Undertaker at WrestleMania. The are the perfect opponents because their gimmicks match up so well. Sting should do it in the end because it would be the best sendoff he can get. He can sign with WWE, have this match, go into the HOF, have WWE release a DVD of his career and release some merchandise. Would make him piles of money and would allow many more fans to see his sendoff.
