As for that crow Sting character I still never watched that movie myself but regardless I liked the change for him even if it didn't really get explained as to why he started being that way. Guess you could assume it was due to NWO taking over the company and changed his attitude or something.
It was explained vaguely. The change came about because the nWo had been using Sting imposters and the fans were booing him because of the confusion, so Sting got mad and left for a while. If you mean why his makeup was a different color when he came back, if you watch the movie The Crow, it would make sense. They didn't even try to hide the fact the new look was ripped straight off a movie.
This has to happen before he retires. Sting needs to wrestle just one match in WWE to face the Undertaker at WrestleMania. The are the perfect opponents because their gimmicks match up so well. Sting should do it in the end because it would be the best sendoff he can get. He can sign with WWE, have this match, go into the HOF, have WWE release a DVD of his career and release some merchandise. Would make him piles of money and would allow many more fans to see his sendoff.
Agreed with this. Sting DVD would be nice.

I wish Sting would have joined WWE ten years ago. It excites me to think of the matches that could have taken place in Sting vs. Taker, Sting vs. HBK, Sting vs. Triple H, Sting vs. Edge, just to name a few.

Oh right I remember now. And yeah I know they didn't make a secret of it about where they got the idea since the ads of it would show on that station anyhow. It worked out since it made him the WCW version of Taker.

I do wonder how creative are planning on matching(well getting near) Cena/Rock for future 'Manias, creative may see Sting/Taker as something huge they could promote, who knows. I can't rule this out, mostly because I just don't know what else they could do, unless Rocky becomes full time.

They could do CM Punk vs Steve Austin at WrestleMania 29 and it would be epic! And possibly, outdo Cena vs Rock.

SCSA has said multiple times he would be able to do one more match but the timing, money and everything else has to be perfect and the only person he'd like to face, is CM Punk.

Ah yes I completly forgot that that was possible, here's praying(and it's much more likely) that Austin/Punk happens rather than Sting/'Taker.

Now that I've been reminded of this I really hope and I'm really glad that Sting never has nor will join WWE.

Exactly and him being a "WCW version of Taker" was another reason I didn't care about him. I used to clown WCW so much for that kind of shit back then. They still did a lot of things right though, so I'll still watch those old ppv's. It was just never a program I could follow, especially when the other show was the Steve Austin/Attitude era of WWE. Hardcore wrestling purists and people with extremely bad taste were the only ones watching WCW over WWE after 1997 and anyone who wants to argue with me about that can come the fuck at me.

I would love to see Austin wrestle 1 more match, but I have a bad feeling I would get my hopes up too high about it. Realistically, I wouldn't expect anything more than a decent match, but if it was booked, the hype would definitely get to me and I would probably disregard logic and reasoning after a few Austin promos.

If he had the balls and his only gripe was losing his one and only WWE match to Taker, I say let him enter the Rumble at 30 and win it. Then evoke the right to choose your main event clause and pick the streak. He would get two huge pay days, a win and a loss in history, to be in WWE's two biggest ppvs, a DVD, HOF spot, merch, and Raw time

The one problem I would have with him winning the Rumble would be the ensuing 2 months of his horrendous promos.

The next big one is Undertaker vs. John Cena. That should match Rock vs. Cena simply because fans will be seriously unsure on who will win because Cena is the only one on the roster that has a slight chance of beating the streak. Plus don't forget about Brock Lesnar retiring from UFC, he will come back for one big payday. Book Undertaker vs. Lesnar next year and then Undertaker vs. Cena for the big one at WM30.

That is a good idea to convince him to join. You are right that he may be hesitant to join when he knows that he will lose his only WWE match. I am normally a fan of using the Rumble to promote new stars but this is such an awesome feud that I would be happy to see it happen. WWE could just use him for the two matches as well, he wins Rumble and then doesn't wrestle until WM, he can sit in the rafters for a couple of months.

In my eyes Sting is a legend but I don't think he could be a decent oponent to The Undertaker. The match would be just terrible and The Undertaker'd beat the shit out of him in less then 5 minutes (Yes, WWE wouldn't let that happen and then it would be just a big boring bullshit).

Just about every big Mania match is saved by crowd reaction so I'm sure it would suck but it would be overrated by many.

If he didn't take a deal from WWE when they were raking in money hand over fist in 03 then it's never going to happen now.
