I'm pretty sure that was the case, you sign with us now or you don't sign at all. They signed a world class talent and also managed to hurt one (or two) of AEW's partners and sent a warning to anyone who does busines with AEW.I'd still lean heavy towards WWE suggesting / pushing (whatever word you wanna use) for her to pull herself out of the dates.
Sort of. It's a whole thing. Technically Dragon Lee is also is in the WWE.I read she bolted because people in the locker room were advocating for the release of some boyfriend who apparently tried to kill her.
Any of this true?
Not sure I would say it was that aggressive / demanding, they would have signed her up regardless imo but given they were in Mexico this weekend, they probably mentioned about debuting her there and making a song and dance about it. Combine that with the issues she's had with the former company and it being a dream for her to sign with the WWE, it probably that wasn't big of a decision for her to pull out of her dates.I'm pretty sure that was the case, you sign with us now or you don't sign at all. If this were true she wouldn't have gone with the company that was closest to AAA, whose roster has loudly and openly denied that he'd ever tried to kill her for mostly company-politics reasonsI read she bolted because people in the locker room were advocating for the release of some boyfriend who apparently tried to kill her.
