Funny how some of you people sound exactly like the MMA elitists who shit on the fact that some guys did pro-wrestling but in reverse. Threre is a crossover audience that has been built in since day one. So ofcourse there is going to be a crossover of athletes as well, it has been a tad one sided in the past decade after MMAs explosion in popularity. But, lets be honest, MMA is losing the steam it had a few years ago and these guys are going to look for other oppurtunities to make money, while the money is drying up in their sport. Much like NFL stars were doing back in the days of Wahoo McDaniel and Ernie Ladd, who made more money in the off season doing wrestling than they ever did in football. And wrestling is something an athlete can do past their 40s when they learn the art of shortcuts. Just because few MMA guys haven't been succesful in this field, don't mean it can't happen.
Still don't think Bonnar is a good example of this, but not everybody can be Josh Barnett.
