The Announcers being this deep in the nWo angle is honestly so fun. Hearing announcers really sell the angle is such a forgotten gem. This is close to the end, though, because they kinda treat nWo has standard WCW wrestlers by 1998. Especially once they see the Wolfpac as the good nWo.

I don't think announcers have ever been particular good at selling anything like this outside of the nWo angle either, usually it's so much more forced

the segment with Bret on Nitro before this started by teasing him in the no, but Bret shit it down hard on that show. So there wasn't much mystery here and honestly Bret is so fresh off the screwjob, his selling here isn't great. But what's funny is he does join the nWo in only a few months so all for nothing.

My problem wasn't him joining. It was he never officially wore an nWo shirt, or called himself a member and he was usually just following Hogan around like he was Vincent. Bret in the 2000 nWo at least takes on the leader role and wears the logo and shit.
