So what's everyone's opinions on Cody now portraying this character? I've no doubts the guy will make it work as he did well with the Dashing and Grotesque gimmick but if i'm being totally honest, I don't exactly see the point in this change.

I thought Cody & Goldust were perfectly fine as tag team they just didn't have anything for them so they did the losing streak where it looked like they were gonna split the two up with Cody presumably turning heel.

I'll give it a chance but like I said I just think it's a super random character change.

Super random, but I don't even care because I find it hilarious. I hope it works out well, and holy fuck Cody really ran with it like Dustin did when he was given the Goldust character.

I think they are trying to add depth to Cody, and better yet teach him what he lacks. Goldust got over because of mannerisms, gestures, subtly, and knowing how make every action count. The thing with Cody is as amazing as he can be, he does fuck all in terms of ever playing to a crowd or pausing to set up a move and get the fans riled up. There's a reason his moonsault, disaster kick, and even cross Rhodes aren't more over, he doesn't get fanfare. The whole thing with stardust was imitating Goldust personal mannerisms. Hopefully he retains it

Cody Rhodes has personality if anyone has ever paid attention to the JBL and Cole Show.

He has gotten even worse shit over in the past (Cody's moustache anyone?) and this is the only times he ever trends or clicks with the audience, let's face the facts. Cody Rhodes by himself is just lame. Cody with some goofy gimmick works.

I actually really like the Stardust concept and gave my opinion of it in the Raw thread. It felt awkward at first seeing Cody came out on stage like that but seeing them in action again reminded me that Cody and Goldust are still a great combination. The team looked like it had ran it's course and all of us expected them to break up, probably with Cody turning. But this idea that came from out of nowhere will be something totally refreshing for the team that can keep them interesting again for another while. It also occurred to me after their re-debut that Cody's ring style is so much better suited to babyface anyway, he and his brother can be two of the most exciting on the roster in that area.

Another plus is that we don't have to hear that terrible spliced theme anymore. The original composition they have now is sweet.

Well said. This team will offer something fresh to the tag team division. I love the mystique they will bring in a 'plain' roster. There is no obscure characters right now, and I think the two of them as a team provide that. Excited to see where it goes

Kind of hard to be an obscure act when people think everyone must be some sort of serious "shooter" character.

Don't believe me? Look back on what people were saying about Santino, and acting like I said something insane by saying he was in a good spot and would be those guys WWE calls year after year to get nostalgic pops when his career is over.

I never had too much doubt than Rhodes had personality, think he was great when doing the face mask gimmick, and also during his face run with Goldie. Hope this character takes him to the next level.

Its probably cause if the gimmick doesnt work, there out of a job... so nobody tries to be unique any more.

I really like it. Goldust and Stardust are a great tag team who actually can work a match.

What other teams are there who work together? The Uso's are good flyers but I am not seeing the great teamwork spots. The New Age Outlaws are good but where have they been.

There needs to be more tag teams, RybAxel is atrocious.

Hellz to tha nah.....they are gold and should get more mic time, taking it to the neckbeards.

That shit would be money......Actual heels without the neckbeards trying to cheer them.

Damn, I feel like you just named a future tag team for the WWE: The Neckbeards.
