Lash was consistently getting wins against other jobbers towards the end of the year on Thunder before mostly disappearing until MIA from what I remember from my little Thunder rewatch

Whipwreck honestly isn't bad though. If they woulda just had him involved in some kinda actual rivalry match here, it would be perfectly understandable to have this match.
