A new age is dawning in WCW, as the company moves to a new logo, new presentation, and perhaps even a new attitude of sorts? Spring Stampede 1999 is here, emanating from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. Though the winds of change are blowing in WCW, there are some things in life that are evergreen... In the main event of the evening, we have a rare fatal fourway match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, as Ric Flair defends against Sting, Diamond Dallas Page and Hulk Hogan with Randy Savage as the guest referee. Elsewhere, Goldberg looks to redeem his sole loss in WCW, taking on Kevin Nash in a rematch from Starrcade 1998! Champions will be decided as Scott Steiner and Booker T go to war for the United States Championship, and Rey Mysterio Jr. looks to fend off Kidman to retain his Cruiserweight Title! All of this, plus Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Bam Bam Bigelow, Juventud Guerrera, Konnan and Disco Inferno in action in what has been described as WCW's last GREAT Pay-Per-View!
