I still think Ryback's main problem is that he doesn't sell at all. How the hell are you going to produce a decent match when you're essentially getting in all the offence? People slag Sheamus/Cena for not selling but at least it doesn't hinder the match quality in the way in which Ryback's did. It's especially stupid because he's so green at the minute, so letting Punk dominate for spells would have improved the match quality so much. And as Seabs said, all Ryback has is high impact moves, so it was basically an entire match which was filled with powering Punk about for a couple of minutes before Punk started running away.

What I don't understand at all is why did they not have Punk use more weapons - and make them have a bad effect on Ryback? If Punk was dominating him - following a Heyman distraction - with a chair for a couple of minutes it's hardly gonna make Ryback look weak is it?

I was a big fan of this match beforehand, but I honestly don't understand why he couldn't have just faced someone like Orton tbh, fuck knows where they go with Ryback now.

Because Ryback is made to look strong, they wanted him to look unbeatable and look like Punk was not able to stop him at all, that's why he doesn't sell.

This PPV was decent, glad Sheamus's reign is over, but sad that Ziggler didn't cash in. Glad CM Punk won, and Ryback still looked powerful. The tag team division got in some good matches, they were good chemistry teams, not a match of random slapped together teams, and Antonio vs Gabriel was predictable, yet amazing nontheless.

Well i've accepted it Ryback is being pushed. The IWC find silly and ridiculous reason to hate on anyone who's being pushed, no matter what they say they wanted even a few weeks ago. Most normal WWE fans actually really like Ryback (I just don't think he is ready that's all)

He's a huge guy who isn't an immobile mass of muscle like so many goliaths the WWE has brought in over the years. He's got a great arsenal of moves that suit him perfectly. He plays to the audience brilliantly and he's already shown he has the natural charisma to successfully be a face or a heel. He's also got freakish strength that allows him to perform moves that are just plain fun to watch.

If I could guide Ryback going forward, I'd love to see him in a heel stable led by CM Punk and Brock Lesnar, with Dolph Ziggler there as well and Paul Heyman managing it. SO many great possibilities there for all of them and in the future the potential for a HUGE hero turn for Ryback and Ziggler. As of right now though i'm going to hope that Cena would have been in that HIAC match and give the WWE a pass and order the next ppv as usual

There was speculation before the paperview in regards to Cena possibly interfering in the match or even being added to the match. I think it's safe to say on behalf of the majority that it was great to see Cena not getting involved and letting Ryback and CM Punk do their thing.
