So for those of you who watched last night, what were your thoughts on Cody's promo?

Personally thought it was pretty bad, and cringy. I really don't get how this is suddenly a US vs UK thing, two countries that get along famously. I don't understand what is daughter being mixed race had to do with anything either, or freedom, considering the UK is a first-world country and a US ally. All of it felt really forced, self-serving and well...certainly not a babyface promo in my eyes. It just felt really weird and tone deaf tbh, and I have no idea why I should cheer for him as a non-American. Confused why he's not just mad he got punched in the stomach, and why the focus isn't more on Ogogo being an olympic boxer. Weird stuff. Discuss.

This feels like the typical "IWC assumptions that halfway make sense" with no factual basis.....but I believe it more than usual too
