Songs That Would Sound Awesome In A Different Style

Are there any songs you think would sound amazing covered in a different style, but for some reason have never been?

Here are mine:

Manu Chao - Desaparecido
I've always wanted to turn this into a fast, punky guitar song, with a retro-rock'n'roll solo.

Bee Gees - New York Mining Disaster 1941
Just imagine it with Ramonian guitars. Great, innit?

KISS - Beth
I actually tried to make a tab for a fast-paced version of this with my mate, back when I had my band. We never got round to finishing it, though.

Traditional French song "Au Clair De La Lune"
Would also sound great with fast guitars and a screamy/snotty vocalist.

The Beatles - All My Lovin' / I'm Down
I'd just speed and toughen up the guitars and vocals on both songs (and throw a few profanities onto I'm Down ). I think they'd sound even better.

Yeah...most of my dream covers are in a punk-rock style I've even covered a couple with my band back in the day.

Hell I'd make metal covers of the shit played all over the radio these days. Because I have a need to shoot my brains out when I hear shit like that. Luckily my dad has In Flames CDs in his car (guess who put them in there).

And my mum used to ASK ME to make tapes to listen to in the car. The car was so noisy most records were drowned out, so we listened to The Clash and Nirvana. Awesome.

And my father was given a couple of metal tapes by students of his. I remember him playing it in the car and frowning, and little me in the backseat going "turn it up, Dad, that's cool!"

This cover of Poker Face is awesome, lol. I love it. I've heard some covers like that, but I've never heard this particular one before. It's awesome! If I indeed end up doing any covers, I'll post them here.
