I have no ill feelings towards anyone because you're all a bunch of people I will never meet, though I do find some of you extremely annoying, but I will be straight up with my response. This isn't meant to be taken personally by anyone, it's just my opinion, and I don't hate anyone.
There are quite a few problems with this forum in which is credited to it being dead now. Once upon a time, this place was loaded with activity. There was never a time you could log on and not have something to respond to. Then came the trolls. Not all were lame, gay trolls, but a lot were, and it was only because they kept doing shit that got old. The LKP shit was funny at first, and then it happened every fucking day, all day, for a long time. He may have been slightly Blue and his posts may have not been the best but he still added new posts to the forum. It became so big that it seemed like most of the posts that were made daily were all about LKP's fucking forehead and his kid getting cum all over his face. Then, we get into Wordlife and his dead grandma. Wow, guys, really? It might be the net but there is still a line. He is still a person sitting behind a computer with fucking feelings over the passing of a relative. Great fucking job, cocksuckers.
Next, and the biggest problem, imo, is the staff. The members they don't like get banned and the members they do like don't get banned for doing the exact same thing that the banned members have done. I got banned in seconds for flaming yet how many fucking people have flamed in this section? Look at this fucking thread, even, yet no one is banned. I make fun of the408kid and get an infraction. That infraction wasn't enough for a ban so Knox goes and finds a post made a month earlier and infracts me again for it just so I can get banned. I bring the issue up to Mike and he blows it off. I don't give a fuck if either of them like me or not, that isn't the point. The point is, one abused his powers and the other didn't do anything about it. I <3 BKB but he has flamed a lot of people and didn't get a ban, let alone an infraction. I am not asking for him to get banned but going out of your way to ban someone with a post from a month ago yet letting another one go who flames almost every single time they log in isn't exactly fair. I'm over it, whatever, but I am bringing it up because it is the perfect example of how 'currupt' it is, let alone the fact that Mike just follows crowds. He never had an issue with me before yet he suddenly has a problem because other people do. Way to be a leader, Mike. I have posted plenty of times in the wrestling sections and tried to get some discussions going. I am one of your top posters. I don't give a fuck if you respect me or like me but to act like I do nothing but flame is horseshit. I have my fun with it but I don't do it 24/7. I discuss quite a bit of wrestling and I am sure there are people here who can back me up on that one so to act like I'm some kind of waste of a member when I am one of the people adding fucking numbers to your forum stats is quite lame of you. Whoever you are following on the staff, grow some balls and form an opinion of your own for once instead of following what other people say and do. This has been brought up before by other members and people just basically told those people to fuck off but those people were right and you do follow crowds. Just grow a sack, for the sake of the forum. You're a big boy.
I'm not the only person who has been banned in this kind of manner. Mike doesn't have to like anyone, but, as the admin, he should be addressing his staff about this sort of thing and making sure no abuse of power is happening. If one gets banned for something, everyone else who does it gets banned as well. That is how a proper staff would operate. It should have NOTHING to do with whether a mod or Mike likes or dislikes a person. People in forums who are chosen to be mods should be neutral members who are mature enough to put personal like/dislike aside and treat everyone fairly. The kind of environment this place provides when it comes to staff is what drives people away. If members see other people getting special treatment, of course they are going to fuck off and go somewhere else. I can't stand John and think he is one of the worst members ever but I can put that aside and talk to him like a mature human being whenever he brings up a good discussion. I've done the same to McFly and the408kid whenever they had brought up something somewhat intelligent. It's not impossible for people here to put shit aside and have a great discussion. Just because you dislike someone doesn't mean you can't discuss things with them.
We've all had our fun here poking fun at each other and I honestly do think most members can actually be good members when they want to be. When a place gets boring, people tend to fuck around more to create some entertainment, which is cool, but if the place wasn't as fucked up as it is, maybe people would enjoy it more and it wouldn't be dead.
Let's not forget letting idiots like J back in. He shits on the forum in other wrestling forums, talks shit up and down about a bunch of people here, cries that he made THOUSANDS OF AWESOME POSTS and gets banned and then you let him back in? He just wants to come back because WC isn't as active as it was when he first joined and he takes his join date and posts seriously. The word 'vet' means the world to him. Not a huge deal but it's lame keeping members like that. If he hates this place so much, he can fuck off and stop spreading negative things about the place to other forums. That is probably one of the reasons why new people wont join. They hear how WOW FAGGY this place is from someone who is raging over being banned and they decide against joining. Trust me, I have posted in many wrestling forums over the years and almost every single forum has a bad impression of IWF. I don't know why but the basic response is 'ew, you come from IWF' or 'lol IWF'. This place needs more positive comments to attract people, not someone whining over being banned, as if he was one of the greatest members to ever fucking grace the forum, and making this place look like shit.
If the staff can improve, the members can improve. You don't have to make it a nazi forum but if you are going to have rules, make them fair, not 'well, I don't like this person so I am going to infract/ban them'. Do it to all or do it to none. If the members can all stay cool with one another, the place can be much better. Keep the shit in HIAT, that's it.
I am not saying I am perfect in any way possible but I am mature enough to look at things from the outside. I do a lot of shit here, fuck, yes, but I am generally a mature person and choose to be immature for the fun aspect of it. It puts a smile on my face at times but I can be my regular mature self when I want to be. Some people don't know how to be mature, ever.

i immediately reversed/unbanned you, so what does that matter? If I got demodded for it or something then it may be an issue, but that's why there's multiple staff and multiple subjective opinions. Not sure what the deal is with Mike as I don't remember him commenting on that, it was mainly me/Knox, so not going to comment on that.
Heh...I've been here for awhile now and before I was staff, people bitched. When I was made a mod, people still bitched. And people continually bitch. Wrestling has a passing crowd, people outgrow it, move on and the what not. There aren't many forums in any genre that stay as active once they peak. The staff is corrupt, things need to change, you don't care yet you care enough to write over a page of text to get your point across, this place used to be active, ect. ect. ect.
Enzo is on the money on this one. Members like yourself were bitching when Monkeystyle was in charge because of his bias. Members like yourself were bitching because Mike came back into power and let Word Life & XBA have mod spots. Members like yourself bitched when XBA was removed from staff. Members like yourself were bitching because they made Constantine and J mods. Members like yourself were bitching when Enzo and I were made mods.
I can't remember a single time in the 2 years I've been a member of these forums that you actually were SATISFIED with the job the staff were doing. This was through moments of extreme activity and us being dead like we are currently. We've heard your complaints before, and the staff has been constantly changed on a rotating basis to try and please members like you, and then you bitch because people are getting modded and demodded too quickly. It's a neverending losing battle of running around in circles and you never liking the set up. Most likely because you haven't been admitted to the staff. I bet if Mike would of made you a Mod six months ago you'd be all happy and fine with how things are and would be blaming the lack of activity on guys like John and Adam rather than the staff.
And you wonder why Mike doesn't give a shit anymore. I honestly don't blame him. I'd be done trying too if I spent the last year trying to get this place into shape and the members always bitching about what a crappy job I was doing no matter what move I made.
Maybe we'd take your criticisms a little more seriously under consideration if you actually showed a tendency for once in your entire time here to actually agree with something that the staff has done. But you've proven time and again that no matter what we do or what direction we take you will find issue with SOMETHING going on. You're a perpetual critic, and not even in a constructive way. That is why nothing ever goes your way. If all you're about is negativity then that's all you will ever get in return.
I've been considering dropping my position on the staff just because of my reduced activity lately, but even with me gone you'd still whine about Mike or Enzo. And even if they were gone you'd whine about Italian Outsider & G-1 being apart of "The Kliq" and showing favoritism. And even if they were gone you'd whine about Noumenon's lack of activity. Until all the staff were eliminated leaving only yourself and the e-fedders as active members left. Surely then once you got your way and eliminated the entire staff then you MUST be promoted to moderator status. And once that day happens hell will freeze over, because LH will actually be happy with the way IWF is being ran. Because she'd be the one running it.

Meh, I don't think anyone can bring an idea or anything that would save the forum on it's own. I'd say the best thing we can do, is build around the good guys that are left and keep things flowing with healthy conversation. 8-10 active, intelligent members are all that is truly needed for a forum to be successful anyway.

I pretty much share the same point, HTK. Which is another reason why I am considering dropping from my staff duties because the activity is just not there for us to need this many mods. If things still don't pick up by around the end of October then it might be a safe bet for me to just let Enzo, TIO & G-1 be the big dogs to call the shots.
You guys appear bold, due to an odd screening glitch or something on my TV, and i'm unsure if you and Knox are admin. + I think you two would do a good job as admins, if it mattered.
