Impact #919

- TNA’s Tour of Europe would migrate to Hamburg, Germany with the show coming out of the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle. The show would serve as the penultimate show before the European sendoff in Cardiff next week. The Interim General Manager would start the show by sitting at the commentary desk with West and Tenay and announce that his full focus would be on making sure the Turning Point Japan was a roaring success and that the rest of the world fully understood that TNA was a main attraction and not supplementary content. Bloom would then reveal that tonight’s opening contest would be the X-Division ranking match between Blake Christian and Nosawa Rongai.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Finish: Christian and Rongai would feature in an interesting spectacle, although the difference in both men’s ages would be noticed in measures of both stamina and speed. Blake would claim the win by nailing Nosawa with the 2K1 Driver (Cross-Legged Falcon Arrow).

- Before Blake would have any time to celebrate, the music belonging to the American Gods would blast out around the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle with Jack Perry being accompanied by Randy Orton. Perry would make it known that he was slightly irritated by that blatant favouritism that Blake was being shown, but that he had already spoken with Matt Bloom and that next week he would be Blake’s opponent in an X-Division Championship Eliminator. Perry would make the point that he fully intended on proving that he was just as capable as he long-term friend Luchasaurus of claiming singles gold and intended to become the next X-Division Champion.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- The cameras would cut backstage to the locker area of the American Wolves, with GHC Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards nodding receptively at the camera as it entered the room. Standing behind the pair were four figures wearing wolf masks with the clear intention of hiding their identities. Eddie Edwards would talk about how the unit strength within TNA how become very apparent over the last few months, and that he and Davey had been left with no choice but to strengthen their numbers and create a wolfpack that the rest of the roster would grow wary of. Two of the figures would unmask themselves with Carmelo Hayes and Wardlow stepping forward.

- Edwards would talk about the importance of having a strong youth within your ranks and would introduce the fans to HAYMAKER (Carmelo Hayes) & WARDOG (Wardlow) and make the point that both men were hungry and wanted to do everything to prove themselves and he had decided that management clearly had no idea how lucky they were to have two talented prospects on the books, but with him as their advocate they would be pushed up the TNA hierarchy.
- Davey would interject and add that in the modern wrestling world the women were just as much of an asset as the men, and for both of them had agreed very early on that there was only one person worth recruiting to effectively become the group’s She-wolf. If Alisha Edwards had been the expected reveal, they would be left surprised as the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Thunder Rosa would reveal herself. Rosa would step forward and talk about how happy she was to surround herself with proven winners and the future of tomorrow and she fully intended on replicating her glory elsewhere and eventually get her hands on one if not both of the titles available to the women on TNA.

- Eddie would tease revealing who was behind the mask of the fourth individual before just smiling and wagging his finger, as if to suggest not just yet.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Finish: The match would very much be a stacked affair, with both Blake and The Bunny being members of the ‘House of Bricks’ with their being a clear pecking order in place. Brittany Blake would act as a guard dog that would allow The Bunny to claim the victory over wiping out Kylie Rae with the Best Superkick Ever to become the new number one contender and earn herself a shot at the NEX GEN belt next week in Cardiff.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Zack Sabre, Jr. would cut a promo on location outside the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, where TNA would be coming from live next week. ZSJ would talk about there was no way he would be traveling to the UK without featuring on the card and that with a schedule in his hand he had noticed that Kenny King seemed to have his schedule free next week. ZSJ would suggest that the very best of Suzuki-gun take on the very best of La Facción Confederada de América. ZSJ would say he didn’t care if it was two on two, three on three or even more - but the only thing that mattered was that Kenny King stood in that ring with him. Zack would reflect on the match Bound By Honor between Suzuki-gun and Bullet Club, it had been his little gang that had walked away with the victory and just looking at what LFCA were able to bring to the table he wasn’t the slightest bit worried and that if King had any brain perhaps he would reach out to the extended LFI family to get himself some reinforcements.

Finish: Aussie Open would win in a very convincing manner to top their Round Robin group and lock themselves in the match to become the inaugural TNA Super Tag Team Champions at the show next week in Cardiff.

- After the match, Mark Davis would thank the TNA fans for showing both himself and Kyle support over the last few weeks and would do everything in their power to continue to represent the United Empire at the highest standard and that perhaps their match against Mustafi Ali & Dijak this weekend at Battle Cry would be the perfect tune up match against the winner of The Uso or Calamari Drunken Kings. Fletcher would chip in that he wasn’t too worried about either team and that the Aussie Open would continue the world trend of taking title belts away from TNA wrestlers who clearly aren't worthy of holding title gold.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Adam Page would feature in an intense video package bringing up the point of the clear favouritism that Roman Reigns had been shown since he had signed with TNA and that fact that he hadn’t even wrestled a single match just showed how protected he was as a wrestler. ‘Hangman’ would make it clear that he had no worries about putting his contract on the line in a contest against Roman and that if he was going to have an all or nothing match, then he couldn’t think of a match more suited for their encounter than an ‘I Quit Match’. Page would chuckle to himself, and state that after he forced Roman out of TNA with a record of 0-1 - he was going to become the true leader of the ‘Hangman Empire’ and force his two cousins to get down on their hands and knees and grovel down before him following his victory next week.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Finish: Both teams would approach the contest with a high level of vigour, with all four men knowing that only the winners would advance to face Aussie Open. The match would be littered with near falls, but Jimmy and Jey would seem to have rekindled past form as they managed to bring an end to the contest by nailing Chris Brookes with their double team combination of a Samoan drop followed up by a diving splash to pick up the W.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- LA Knight would be walking backstage when he would find his path blocked by The Miz & Maryse. The Miz would make a point that as he saw it Knight was going to have to be thrown off a cliff, so he didn’t have to spend the rest of his career in TNA watching over his shoulder. Knight would laugh to himself and state that the only person who had reignited this rivalry had been The Miz and after a lot of thinking it was important that The Miz understood that the man standing in front of him was no longer LA Knight. The Miz would look confused, as Knight would step forward and reintroduce himself as Eli Drake and that moving forward he was strictly business.

- From the shadows would emerge Chris Adonis and Thom Latimer who would proceed to beat the absolute shit out of The Miz, as Maryse would just watch on in terror. The camera would turn back towards Eli Drake who would be joined by Nick Aldis. Aldis would engage with the camera and inform them that this was just the way of the world and that sooner or later everyone got what was coming to them. The segment would end with Brittany Blake and Kay Lee Ray grabbing hold of Maryse and dragging her out of shot with clear ill intent.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Dalton Castle would be surrounded by every single member of the League of Extraordinary Wrestlers (Ultramantis Black, Amasis, Ophidian, Kikutaro & Space Money) and would welcome any other wrestler on the roster who felt like they were a refugee and were without a home and family. Castle would reference the great portal that Ultramantis Black had mentioned repeatedly in the past and that as a loving deity he would welcome them with open arms if they simply just accepted him as their one true intergalactic super spirit.

- Dalton would then mention that in just over a month's time, TNA would have finished the tour of Japan and their world tour with Turning Point: Japan. Castle would say that in order for the Global Championship to be given the platform that it needed to warrant mass global attention, he needed an opponent that would match his own star power and that there was one man he had in mind to step across the ring from him. But he needed to communicate with his spectral choir before he allowed the name to escape his mouth and enter into the public domain.

Finish: The match would have a whole lot of potential, but it would quickly become apparent that Max and Heidi were very much playing the role of distractors. With Alize and Martinez looking elsewhere, Becky Lynch and Alpha Female would slide into the ring. Alpha Female would hold a metal bat in her hand and proceed to bring it down hard over Martinez’s back resulting in the contest ending immediately via DQ. Max and Heidi would prevent Alize from coming to her partner’s aid, as Alpha Female would hold Mercedes in place as Becky would smash the Knockout’s Champion flush into her face, busting her wide open.

- Becky would crouch down and grab hold of a limp Mercedes and state that she had decided to grant her a shot at her belt next week in Cardiff, but if she took the knee next weekend instead she would accept her apology and even accept her into the Lynchdom - but the price of admission would be breaking every single bone in Miranda Alize’s body.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- KENTA and Pac would be dressed in match ‘Go 2 Sleep Club’ merchandise, with KENTA briefly mentioning how much he was looking forward to challenging for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship next week in Cardiff, but that tonight his real focus was the G2S Club. KENTA would express his disappointment that Wardlow had thrown his hat in with a second rate group of mercenaries, but that he and Pac had been doing some recruiting of their own and that they had some new additions to the only club that mattered.

- Pac would pull open the door and the pair would be joined by Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels and Rich Swann with the new addition also kitted out in the match gear. Swann would speak up and say that aligning themselves with the likes of KENTA and Pac had been a no brainer and that G2S was the only way to go and he wouldn't be surprised if memberships started to pour in and that a few heads turned their backs on those they surrounded themselves with currently upon the realisation that the club was the best place to be in TNA!

Finish: The American Gods would simply prove to be head and shoulder better in every way to the Bravo Brand, and it became apparent that Edge, Christian and Randy were very much playing with their food rather than finishing the match at the first opportunity. Despite looking wobbly though, it would be Randy who would claim the victory and bring himself and his allies title belts by nailing Shark Boy with the RKO.

- The show would end with Randy, Christian Cage and Edge celebrating in the ring with the belt in their possession. Christian would cut a short and sweet promo in which he would make it clear that the American Gods were the highest standard of competition in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and that he wished Jack Perry the best of luck next week - with their young protégé set to compete in an X-Division Eliminator match at the European Finale in Cardiff next week.

Episode Three

- The commentary team of Hugo Savinovich, José Manuel Guillén and Sam Adonis would welcome the fans to the show in what was AAA’s first episode of Fury in Japan, with the promotion set to be working out of Japan for the next few months. Guillén would confirm that tonight the Luchadora Tag Team Championship Tournament would begin with two quarter final matches booked for tonight’s show, as well as a match for the GCW Women’s Championship between former champion Champion LuFisto and new champion Dark Sheik.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Eve Torres would speak backstage with HAYATA. The reigning World Junior Heavyweight Champion HAYATA would congratulate Aerostar on an impressive performance at ‘Once Upon A Time In Mexico’ and that following his victory in Scramble Match he had earned the right to challenge for the strap later tonight. HAYATA stated that he wasn’t looking past the horizon and unlike other champions on the roster he wasn’t locking title matches months in advance in a clear attempt to avoid having to actually defend the title against deserving members of the roster.

Elder Dragons (Tomoaki Honma, Takashi Iizuka, Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Yuji Nagata) vs. Kongo (Hi69, Tadasuke, Hajime Ohara & Alejandro)
JtYt-t95nnpXAkCf6-qwFh1wkcWuUsfBC3Nh9f5BXRwQPVb24VzOMX0j97sbvjqIz9JxlVztA3XfHNNSrrppuAHJJZOg8JXK87BQXsKDHXJUOauGVHm9ETl6PeSHX702aVm0eBfygbc6hkBtBRNQuKY

Finish: The night’s opening contest would be an explosive contest, with the newest faction in AAA the Elder Dragons clearly wanting to make a name for themselves - with each of the four men reminding the wider wrestling community they still had what it took to throw it down. The match would come to a finish, after Marufuji would come out from the back to show his unit mates support - with Ohara claiming the win for Kongo by nailing Honma with DO IT! Now (Wrist clutch cross-legged fisherman buster) for the W.

- After Kongo had celebrated the win, Naomichi Marufuji would join the four victors in the ring and request a microphone. Naomichi would address the fans and that there was nothing better than working in front of a Japanese crowd, and that it was even better because now there were no borders that were protecting the red handed traitors and their black throned masters from the guaranteed beating that were waiting for them all. Marufuji would close by wishing Malakai the best of luck in his barbed wire match with Okada and that he actually wanted Black to walk away as the IWGP Heavyweight Champion.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Ronda Rousey would cut a passionate promo backstage in which she would express her disappointment at not being booked on tonight’s show, but understood that AAA management were doing everything in their power to protect their second rate Luchadoras (which would be air quoted in quite a dismissive manner). Ronda would offer her kind welcome to the newest member of The Lynchdom Heidi Howitzer, and was looking forward to getting to know her better once she completed her conquest of ripping a hole through these second class wrestlers. Ronda would turn her attention to next week’s show and that she intended to rip the heads off two vipers and would challenge Chik Tormenta & Sexy Star II to face her in a tag-on-one handicap match.

Finish:
The first match of the tournament would be an exciting contest, although it would be clear that there was a lack of natural chemistry between Maika and Mei Seruga. It would be Seruga failing to come to her partner’s aid quick enough, that would see Maika dropped by Alize with a Spear to give the TNA invaders the victory and advancement to the next round despite the fact that both women looked beaten up and tired from their beating at the hands of Lynchdom less than 24 hours ago.

- Mei Seruga would do her best to offer Maika her support, but it would be rejected with Maika pushing her away from her. There would be a shocked sound from the crowd as Himeka would appear in the ring and smash into Seruga with a Jumping Knee before herself and Maika would proceed to kick the crap out of Seruga before the pair would exit the ring together. Sam Adonis would state that this surely meant that MaiHime were the newest tag team in AAA.

* * * * * * * * * *

- A joint announcement from the President and Vice President (Marisela Pena & Akito Nishigaki) of AAA would be made. They would confirm that despite the fact that Dr. Wagner, Jr. was the Commissioner with ulterior and biased intentions, the contract he held made it extremely difficult in removing him from his role without also affecting the contracts of other members of the roster. Instead, the pair revealed that they had reached out and hired not one, but two individuals to take on the roles of ‘Head of Talent Relations’ & ‘Executive Assistant.’ It would then be revealed that NXT shareholder Shane McMahon would be the Head of Talents Relations and that Chavo Guerrero was the Executive Assistant - and that the two men would be actively involved in the day to day running and booking of AAA moving forward.

- Chavo Gurrerro would enter into the frame and confirm that Shane McMahon was busy wrapping up his Season One commitments for NXT and would make his first appearance in a few weeks time. Chavo would announce that a massive battle royal match would take place, trademark as Azteca Warfare (elimination over the top rope, pinfall & submission) and that the four final survivors would be invited to a briefcase ceremony at the start of next week’s show with the contest set as the evening’s main-event.

Finish: Las Toxicas would be walked out from the back by Rey Escorpion & Villano III, Jr. with it seeming to be confirmed that Maravilla was officially part of Los Mercenarios. The pair would impress and prove to be a competent team and would leave Mazzerati and Leon frustrated by the lack of impact Fast Money could bring to the contest. La Hiedra would claim the victory by nailing Yulisa Leon with a solid German Suplex to advance them to the next round.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Masakatsu Funaki would cut a promo backstage in which he had would comment on how pathetic that Mochizuki, Miyamota and Tanaka had looked last week and that he didn’t regret parting way with unit especially now that without him the remaining trio had proven themselves as unworthy. Funaki would be joined by Yoshinari Ogawa where he would reveal that himself and Ogawa had been recruited by Los Perros Del Mal and that perhaps old dogs were capable of learning new tricks.

Finish: HAYATA and Aerostar would feature in an intense battle with both men showing that the combination of the Japanese and Mexican style were perfect dance partners within the squared circle with a number of high impact moves and intense aerial maneuvers that would result in a number of near falls. The contest would end with HAYATA careening into Aerostar with a Flying Knee that would drop Aerostar down onto his own knees, before HAYATA would charge forward and connect with the Headache (Hurricanrana driver to a kneeling opponent) to end the contest and retain the strap.

- Following the contest, the champion would thank Aerostar for being a worthy challenger and was looking forward to finding out who would be the next person to challenge him for the title.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Nikkita Lyons would speak with backstage interview Eve Torres. Lyons would relive her match victory at ‘Once Upon A Time In Mexico’ and that managing to get a victory over an icon like Faby Apache was a massive feather in her cap. Now though, she was looking towards the future and now that she had earned a shot at the Reina de Reinas Championship she fully intended on cashing in on the shot as soon as possible and so would demand that Thunder Rosa meet her in the ring next week.

Los Perros Del Mal (Daga, El Texano, Jr. & Shun Skywalker) vs. M's Alliance (Masaaki Mochizuki, Kazushi Miyamota & Masato Tanaka)

Finish: Three of the newer members of the roster Daga, El Texano and Shun would make their Alianza Azteca Asiatica in-ring debut and absolutely dominate the contest with M’s Alliance looking even weaker than last week. The victory would be reached with El Texano pulverizing Mochizuki with Tornado Texas (Fireman's Carry Backbreaker) to pick up the W. Dagger would then proceed to drag Masaaki up to his feet and toss him out of the ring and over the top rope as the ultimate disrespect as Los Perros Del Mal would stand defiantly in the ring.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Executive Assistant Chavo Gurrerro would make an announcement and reveal that next week would be Ladies Night or Noche de las Señoras and that every single match on the card would feature as many of the Luchadoras on the roster as possible announcing the second set of quarter final matches, the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship match and the handicap tag team match of Ronda facing Los Vipers.

- Chavo would then add two additional matches to a card. A Lucha Rule Trios Match match of Dark Sheik, Amy Rose & Faby Apache against Lady Shani, Reina Dorada & Keyra as well as Open Invitational Gauntlet Match and Guerrero would offer any free agents the opportunity to sign up for the contest on next week’s show.

Finish:
Dark Sheik and LuFisto would meet for the second time in a week, after Sheik had offered LuFisto a rematch for the GCW Womens Championship. Unlike the previous meeting, this match was fought as a regular contest without the addition of weapons meaning that both women were forced to follow the traditional rules. The fans would enjoy the match and it would come to an end with LuFisto using all of her strength and lifting Sheik up onto the turnbuckle before nailing the champion with the STO to reclaim her belt and become a two-time GCW Womens Champion.

- After the bell, LuFisto would thank Dark Sheik for giving her a rematch for the belt and that when they next cross pathed she would be more than willing to go one last time to decide who was actually the better woman.

Finish: The match would be intense and complete clusterfuck with everyone throwing everything into the contest and whether it being a submission, pinfall or being thrown over the top rope it would be fair to say that the fans would not be disappointed. The final elimination would come with Komander and Dante Leon working in unison to raise Fred Rosser up into the air and toss him over the ropes and out of the ring.

- This would result in the four survivors being Dante Leon, Komander, YO-HEY and Daiki Inaba. The four men would give each other strange looks, not sure what they were exactly celebrating as the show would come to a close.

Pre-show

Non-Title 6 Man Tag Match
6mantag2.png

LFI vs Ibushi, Bandido and Ishii

NEVER 6 man tag champions LFI have been not only running roughshod on the 6 man division but also interfering in each other's New Japan Cup matches. Unfortunately for LFI not only did none of them end up making the finals, they have made multiple enemies that have decided to team up to teach them a lesson. Will LFI continue their dominance or will the face trio show them up and maybe earn a shot at the titles themselves?

Result:
The opening contest of the pre show would be a lovely combination of strength and agility with all the talent involved. LFI would take the lead early due to some dubious tactics and referee distractions leading to some 2 on 1s to soften up Ibushi. Ishii would clear the ring on a hot tag and nearly put Rush away with his patented Sheer Drop Brainbuster only for Andrade to make the save last minute. Ishii would have to tag out to Bandido after a nasty chop block by El Idolo, hurting the big man's knee. Bandido would force Andrade to tag out to Naito after overpowering him and crushing him with a minute long vertical suplex. Eventually we get to Ibushi and Naito squaring off and we get some classic magic from both. Rush would try to intervene after Ibushi looked to taking over but a fed up Ishii and Bandido would meet them on the outside and begin to brawl with him and Andrade. Naito would be distracted by this just long enough for Ibushi to hit a hellacious German Suplex followed by the Kamigoye knee strike to seal the victory for his team and get revenge on the pesky LFI.

Kota Ibushi, Bandido, Ishii

Surely this one mean that the makeshift trios would be eligible for a title shot.

Singles Match (Oedo Tai and Justice Squad! are banned from ringside)
beavstat.png

Bea Prestley vs. Kris Statlander

This personal feud has been boiling over for weeks as Bea Priestley dodged Kris Statlander and threw new Oedo Tai recruits at the young powerhouse. Finally, Kris gets her hands on Bea one on one. Will she be able to prove her worth in the division by taking out a former champion and current stable leader? Or will the crafty Bea find yet another way to get the upper hand?

Result:

In a very back and forth affair, Kris and Bea would beat the living hell out of each other. The crowd would rise to it's feet as both women would chop each others chest for a solid 45 seconds to open the match. The match would be extremely physical with Kris utilizing her power advantage for gnarly forearms and slams, while Bea would utilizing her technical prowess with kicks and submission locks. Bea would take control of the match after faking an injury in the corner, luring the referee and Statlander close and then pulling her down and face first into the turnbuckle. Bea would unleash a flurry of offence and look to finish it by climbing the turnbuckle for a diving stomp. However, Kris Stalander would kick up to her feet and catch Bea midair and slam her down to the matt with a thunderous powerbomb. She would then hit Area 451 (450 splash) and Big Bang Theory (package tombstone piledriver) to put her rival away for good. She would pose on the turnbuckle and flex at the cheering crowd.

Kris Statlander

#1 Contender for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship 6 Man Scramble
scramble.png

Taurus vs Wheeler Yuta vs Darby Allin vs Laredo Kid vs Taiji Ishimori vs Speedball Mike Bailey
No feud, just a 6 man scramble for the #1 Contender for Jr HW Title

Result:

You can use your imagination for this one as it is obviously some speedy high spot craziness! This match feature spots such as Mike Bailey attempting Omega Weapon only for Taurus to catch him but Bailey reverse it to Hurricanrana, Ishimori diving onto Laredo kid and crashing through the barricade into the crowd and Darby Allin destroying Yuta's body by hitting the Coffin Drop on him through a table. taking him out of the match for good. Laredo Kid would be KO'd after Ishimori would follow up his assault by using a chair to the head. The match would come to a close when Taurus spears Ishimori near the ropes and both men crash to the outside. Mike Bailey would crush Darby's neck with the Flamingo Driver and climb the turnbuckle looking for Omega Weapon. Darby however would manage to move out of the way at the very last minute and sneak in the Last Supper pinning maneuver to shock Bailey and gets the victory, becoming the number one contender in the process.

Darby Allin

KOPW Trophy - Dog Cage Match
dogcollar.png

Miro (c) vs Toru Yano
After Miro obtained the King of Pro Wrestling trophy he immediately lost some steam by getting tricked and defeated by Tory Yano in the opening round of the New Japan Cup. Miro would get his revenge later by assaulting Toru Yano in the parking lot and destroying his DVD stand. Miro would then challenge Toru to a dog kennel match to make Yano “his bitch”.

Result:
The Battle Cry main event would be a very unconventional match with the goal being to your opponent in an oversize dog cage and lock the door. Toru Yano would be at a big disadvantage here as the rules of this match has no pinfalls or submissions, limiting his fuckery-based offence. Miro would bash Yano's face against the steps then would lift him high up and drop him face first on the steel steps, busting Yano open. The savage beating would continue with Miro clubbing the DVD salesmen's back with his oversized fist. He would attempt a suplex on the concrete floor but Yano would wisely kick him in the balls and eye pokes him for good measure. Yano would pull out a cardboard box from under the ring and reveal a stack of DVDs which he would start throwing one by one at Miro, mostly irritating him. When Miro has enough and bulrushes the comedic wrestler, Yano suddenly pulls out an old VCR from the box and tosses in right a Miro's head, who's now also bleeding as a result. Yano would then set up the cage and tries to drag Miro in it...with no success. They continue to slug it out in the middle of the ring now. Yano goes for another low blow but this time Miro chops him in the throat and drops him on his head with a brainbuster. Machka Kick follows shortly and Yano looks to be down and out. Miro seems intent on destroying his opponent instead of winning the match and puts him in the Camel Clutch. Yano grabs the ropes but there are no breaks. He reaches into the apron and reveals...a cattle prod? He jabs it backwards into Miro's chest and shocks him with it. However, this somehow just manages to piss off God's Champion. Miro snatches it out of Yano's hands...and uses it horizontally to choke Yano out in the Camel Clutch :DAMN: .It doesn't take long for Yano to lose consciousness. Miro then casually tosses him in the cage and closes the door. Absolute domination.

Miro retains the KOPW title

(Decided to post my pre-show in an attempt to boost this back up. I'm working on Revolution, which I'll probably turn into a PDF in order to not crash the page with the amout of characters in the show)

IMG_1246.jpeg

**PYRO**

Excalibur: Welcome to AEW Revolution ZERO HOUR! I'm joined here by my colleagues, the human suplex machine Taz and the voice of professional wrestling himself, Jim Ross. Also joining us, I'd like a warm welcome to the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be, our special guest commentator for tonight ... BRET HART!

**HART ATTACK**

The already gathered Revolution crowd would pop like crazy for Bret Hart, as the last living member of the famous Hart Foundation comes out, grabbing a headset.

Bret Hart: Thank you for the warm welcome Excalibur. Feels good to here for a night of absolutely excellent wrestling.

JR: No doubt about it. Welcome back to AEW Bret!

Bret Hart: Thanks Jim. Also, I'm letting you and everyone watching at home know, that I have a huge announcement coming up during AEW Revolution!

Taz: Well, I for one can't wait to hear it.

Excalibur: Speaking of huge things, Taz, how does it feel to be having your FIRST match in a wrestling ring sie ECW One Night Stand in 2006?

Taz: I'm nervous, that's all I can say. Though, with the help of Team Taz, I feel ready to kick some ASS!

Excalibur: And for the people watching at home, you can still order Revolution right now and watch as the legendary Taz returns! Plus, we will see the longest reigning AEW World champion yet Kenny Omega defend against a man who he has a very storied history with, the Phenomenal AJ Styles!

Bret Hart: As someone who's followed both men's careers since they started, I have to say it's going to be hard for me to root for a side.

Excalibur: You said it Bret, but now, let's head to the ring for our OPENING contest!

**DING DING DING**

"The following contest is set for ONE FALL!"

**FULL DEATH**

Out first ... was a man with the intent of Slaughter. The hard rock theme song played out as three men walked out onto stage. A man with a linebacker physique had ripped jeans on, chains hanging down from the waist. His collar was crisp with spikes. To his right, a man with wild man hair, a leather sleeveless jacket on with a hoodie on. And meeting them in the middle, the leader of the Slaughterhouse ... THE BUTCHER!

Butcher walked down to the ring, his Slaughterhouse com padres following him to the squared circle. Butcher grabs the ropes, climbing right onto the apron. Butcher's expression was snarled, as he steps through the ropes. Taz would admire Butcher, remarking that a man like Butcher would be a legend in ECW.

Butcher would take off his monacle and gears, handing it to H4RL4ND. Butcher would stand at the foot of the ring, waiting for his opponent.

**TITAN**

And out comes Adam Scherr, stomping his way to the ring. Scherr wouldn't waste any time on formalities, pushing Gacy and H4RL4ND back before entering the ring. Scherr and Butcher IMMEDIATELY GO TO BLOWS as the bell rings.

**DING DING DING**

Scherr and Butcher trade blows, these two absolute bulls bashing their horns together as a battle of strikes surrounds the ring. Butcher would smash Scherr with a sharp forearm, but Scherr simply rushed forward, tackling Butcher right to the floor. Butcher would roll up to his feet, before Scherr LIFTS HIM RIGHT INTO THE AIR, dropping him down with a spinning sidewalk slam.

Scherr makes the cover, but doesn't even get a one as Butcher kicks out, before sticking his FINGERS INTO THE EYES OF SCHERR, GOUGING HIS FACE! Scherr would escape Butcher, but would be clearly disoriented, allowing Butcher to get up and slam the Titan right in the back of the neck with a polish hammer. Scherr would stumble to the ropes, as Butcher stiff shots Scherr right in the ribcage.

Butcher would attempt to lift up Scherr, going for what seems to be a huge spot ... but Scherr fights out of Butcher's grasp, drilling him in the head with a knee. Butcher would find himself a little confuzzled from that strike, before being dropped to the mat with a running lariat. Scherr would turn his momentum around, running off the ropes and hitting a RUNNING SPLASH onto Butcher!

Scherr hooked the leg, but Butcher kicked out at two. Adam wouldn't give up though, grabbing Butcher right by the hair. Scherr began to drag Butcher to his feet ... but BUTCHER levels him with a hard right. Butcher follows this up with more strikes, but Scherr would reverse the momentum, hitting a hard back elbow to Butcher. Butcher would bounce off the ropes though, hurdling under Scherr. Scherr chose to meet him as well, charging at Butcher ... BUT BUTCHER MANAGES TO HIT A MAJOR SNAP SCOOP SLAM!

Butcher would get to his feet, roaring with momentum as the crowd pops for that huge move. Scherr would begin to sit up, stunned and shocked from that unexpected move. Butcher would grab Scherr from his seated position, locking him in a CHANCERY position. Butcher would attempt to squeeze Scherr to sleep, but Scherr would instead club Butcher's sides, before pushing him IN BETWEEN THE ROPES TO ESCAPE!

Butcher would stumble into the barricade as Scherr got the crowd pumped as he rolled out of the ring on the opposing side. He began to run for his momentum ... KNOCKING H4RL4ND into the steel steps ... KNOCKING GACY to the floor .... AND SPEARING BUTCHER RIGHT TO THE CONCRETE FLOOR! Scherr would stand up, as the crowd cheers for the train! He grabs Butcher from the floor, throwing him into the ring.

Scherr would follow inside, calling for Butcher to get up ... before LIFTING HIM UP INTO THE AIR FOR THE RUNNING POWERSLAM ... he begins to run ... BUT BUTCHER SLIPS OFF AND THROWS HIM RIGHT INTO THE RING POST! Scherr would grab his shoulder as Butcher fell onto the ropes in exhaustion, as Scherr stumbles back ... as Butcher grabs him and hits a BRUTAL snap release belly-to-belly suplex! Scherr hits the ground hard as Butcher makes the cover.

ONE

TWO

THR- NO!

Scherr pushes Butcher off of him, to the shock of the leader of the Slaughterhouse. Nonetheless, Butcher would call for Scherr to get up running at him for a BIG BOOT! BUT SCHERR GRABS HIS BOOT! Scherr would begin to stand up, holding Butcher's boot, before DRAGGING HIM AND DROPPING HIM WITH A LARIAT!

Scherr would wait as Butcher got right back up, before BOOTING BUTCHER right in the face. Butcher would stumble around the ring ... before SCHERR RUNS RIGHT AT HIM AND DROPKICKS HIM RIGHT IN THE CHEST! Butcher's back ricochets off the turnbuckles as Scherr grabs Butcher ... AND THAT STANDING TRIANGLE CHOKE IS LOCKED IN!

Butcher's face would turn red as Scherr looks to squeeze the life energy out of him. The strikes he was hitting on Scherr began to weaken as Scherr squeezes the skull of Butcher, turning him purple. The referee went to check on Butcher ... BUT GACY GETS ON THE APRON! Gacy would taunt Scherr, looking to enter the ring. Scherr drops Butcher, charging at Gacy ... but Gacy leaps off the apron in time.

Scherr would yell at Gacy and H4RL4ND, who would be taunting him from the outside, only for BUTCHER TO LAY THE BACK OF SCHERR'S HEAD IN WITH AN UPPERCUT! Scherr would find himself stunned as Butcher grabs him by the gut ... gutwrenching him over into a BUTCHER BOMB! Butcher would manage to lift up the monstrous Scherr and drilled him right down, hooking the legs!

WINNER: THE BUTCHER {8:39}

The crowd pops, out of unexpectancy! Some people can't believe it, and neither can the Butcher as he sits up, looking at Scherr's downed body. Scherr rolls to the outside, standing outside the ring as Butcher is met by H4RL4ND and Gacy. The Slaughterhouse would stand tall, as Scherr is forced to retreat as the loser.

Excalibur: What a shock upset that HAS to put The Butcher in good favors for a future shot at any title!

Taz: I bet, it's not often when you see two absolute monsters of men collide in that close of a battle.

Bret Hart: I see a lot of potential in The Butcher there, he's got the look and got the momentum. Not many people can say they've pinned Adam Scherr.

Excalibur: That's why Butcher could have his sights potentially aimed at the Main Event, which I'm sure everyone in the AEW locker room is biting their nails for!

Taz: No doubt about that. When we whoop the Academy, I expect one of my boys to be near the start of the line.

Excalibur: Well, folks who are watching from home, their friends house, or wherever you are, you still have 45 minutes to order Revolution! Now, we'll take y'all backstage with Jim Ross for an exclusive interview.

**BACKSTAGE**

JR would be standing backstage, with a mic in hand.

Jim Ross: Thank you Excalibur, now, I'd like to welcome my special guest at this time, CIMA!

CIMA would walk into frame, to a minor reaction from the crowd.

JR: So, CIMA, you asked for this interview, would you mind telling us why?

CIMA would smirk, grabbing the mic from JR and staring into the hard camera.

CIMA: {roughly translated to English from Japanese} I am tired of the disrespect I'm getting around here, I don't want to be walked over anymore. I don't want to be treated like a second-rate legend, I want to spark my last hope for glory before my boots are hung up. I want everyone in the AEW locker room to know that I will be fighting to be a champion yet again. It doesn't matter if it's Lince's TNT title, FTR's tag titles, Kenny's AEW title, I will become champion. If I need to introduce a STRONGHEART, I will. I will refurbish myself and I will be a champion!

Jim Ross would nod in the background, seeming to not understand a single thing CIMA said.

JR: So, could you reiterate that for the fans?

CIMA would stare at JR, before turning back to the hard cam.

CIMA: {In English} I will kick everyone's ass!

A decent pop for that one-liner as CIMA goes to walk off ... but ACTION ANDRETTI AND GRIFFIN MCCOY confront him. CIMA would stance up as "The Top Guy" and Andretti stare him down. McCoy would pull the mic from his grasps, having a look of blatant cockiness on his face.

Griffin McCoy: CIMA, oh CIMA. At your old, rotten age, do you really think you're in any position for a title shot. Because, I mean, you're looking at two pieces of the FUTURE you WISH you could have been! I've been busting my ass off and you want to waltz your way over and complain and whine about how you're being disrespected?! Maybe if you weren't washed up and not be outclassed by everybody else on the roster, you'd be treated better.

CIMA would snatch the mic from McCoy, leading to Griffin getting into his face. The two would have a tense staredown, with CIMA bringing the mic to his mouth.

CIMA: {In English} Think your tough, kid? Dynamite, you and me. I'll show you washed.

CIMA would push McCoy back as the members of Young, Dumb, N' Broke decided to retreat. CIMA would shake his head and drop his head, walking off in disappointment as JR looks confused.

JR: Well, there you have it folks. Live on Dynamite, we have CIMA taking on Griffy McCoy {JR mispronounces Griffin}. Back to you at the booth.

The camera would cut back to Excalibur, Taz, and Bret as Excalibur looks pleased.

Excalibur: I've heard a lot about Griffin McCoy and after seeing his recent performances at Dark on Youtube.com, and CIMA is one of the most exciting wrestlers in the world. This should be a thrilling CLASSIC.

Bret Hart: No doubt about it. But, this next match has me hyped. If I'm not wrong, it's the Gunn Club facing off against BISHAMON!

Taz: Right you are Bret, yknow you can take over my spot when I go to the bahamas!

That joke by Taz makes all three men crack up, with Excalibur regaining his composure.

Excalibur: And our special guest is right. The newest members of the Jericho Appreciation Society, the son's of the legendary Billy Gunn, Colten Gunn and the FCW Champion Austin Gunn, will face a former G1 Climax winner in Hirooki Goto and his closest ally in YOSHI-HASHI!

**LOCKED AND LOADED**

And out comes Austin and Colten Gunn to a massive reaction of heat. Austin and Colten walk to the ring, with Austin wearing the infamous trunk-shorts of Billy Gunn while Colten is wearing an outfit similar to "Road Dogg" Jesse James. The Gunn's would slip into the ring, exhuming pure swagger and confidence against their more experienced opponents.

**HADOU**

And here's the big pop. Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI walk out onto the stage, both dressed up in the color scheme of Goto's famous blue outfit. Goto and Hashi would slap hands with the crowd, walking to the ring pumped up as Excalibur looks to fill us in.

Excalibur: The Jericho Appreciation Society have been at war with La Faccion de Fukujin for months, and now the two newest members of the JAS will look to make the Demo God proud with a victory. Goto and Hashi are no slackers though, who's raw experience and quality as a duo far outspeak the Gunns, but the Gunns have a brotherhood that cannot be artificially created. They share blood, they are each others ride or die! And with Austin Gunn having the pedastal of being the FCW Champion, the winner is not set in stone.

Bret Hart: I've worked with Austin and Colten's dad in the past, and if they're anything like him, I expect them to find a way to weasel a win and piss everyone off. Yet, Goto's been someone I've been watching in my down time. An immense talent that man is, he's someone that I would've loved to face had I not retired.

Taz: Yet, that expertise plays favors for Goto. You can be blood brothers, but that familial connection doesn't guarantee the win. Goto and Hashi are both immensely talented individuals and I expect them to put up a fight and overwhelm the Gunns.

Goto and Hashi would enter the ring, staring down the Gunn's as they barked at the duo, while backing up. It seemed the action was about to start when some alarms rang.

**THE ACCLAIMED**

The crowd popped as Max Caster and Anthony Bowens of the Acclaimed came out from the back.

Max Caster:
Yo, yo listen! Yo, listen! Yo.
Acclaimed on the mic and that's the absolution
The Gunns are so irrelevant they can't even make Revoluton
Austin and Colt think they're tough
But all the things they say are full of fluff
Flaunting a title from 2008
Your careers are about to end up as dead as the A W A!
You're not even the best "Club" in the biz
Your only famous because of your daddy, and that's why you're the ASS BOYS!

The crowd pops for the Ass Boys line as Bowens grabs the mic.

Anthony Bowens: ORRRRRRRRRLANDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, THE ACCLAIMED ...... HAVE ARRIVED!

The crowd pops even more for the mention as Caster and Bowens join the commentary booth.

Excalibur: Woah woah! Looks like we got two people joining us here on commentary. How are you Max.

Max Caster: I'm pretty great. Figured me and Bowens would watch our competition. I mean, are you complaining about us being here, because everyone ... and I mean EVERYONE ... loves the Acclaimed.

Taz would laugh slightly as we cut back to the ring. Austin and Colten seem angry at the comments The Acclaimed made, clearly being thrown off their game as YOSHI-HASHI steps on the apron, with Goto calling for the Gunn's to fight him. Colten would go to the apron, leaving Hirooki Goto and Austin Gunn as the starting two.

**DING DING DING**

Austin and Goto met each other in the center of the ring. Goto would extend his hand towards Austin, looking to show some respect to his opponent. Austin would smile smuggly, mouthing to Colten what seems to be an insult ... before GOING FOR A STRIKE! However, Goto would grab Austin's strike, having expected it. Austin would shake his hands, seemingly begging for mercy ... but GOTO SIZZLES HIM with a chop to the chest.

Austin would back up, grabbing at his pecs when Goto crouched slightly, beckoning him over. Austin would grit his teeth and ran right at Hirooki ... but Hirooki ducks and rebounds right with a spinning backfist into a clothesline combo. Austin would hit the ground hard, as Goto walks over to Hashi. He would ask Yoshi "want a piece of this chikushou," which Hashi extended his hand ... tagging in!

Yoshi-Hashi would slip in through the ropes, running and NAILING a brutal low-angle uppercut to a seated Austin. Hashi would cover Austin, but would only get a two count. Hashi would immediately lock in a chinlock, wrenching the neck and throat of Austin, dragging him to the center of the ring. Austin would scramble around, looking for a break from the choke ... but Hashi would hit the signature Viper back-breaker, loosening his grasp on Austin.

Austin's face would slam onto the mat, with Hashi pointing at Colten to tag in so he could experience what his brother was feeling. Austin would crawl over to Colt, with Colt hesitatingly tagging into the match. Hashi would back up, wanting Colten to meet him in the ring straight and fair. Colten would climb into the ring before meeting Yoshi, who would propose a test of strength ... and COLTEN ACCEPTS!

The two would battle for who could gain physical control, but Hashi clearly took advantage, pushing Colten back and causing him to lose his footing. This allowed Hashi to grab Colten and lock in a standing dragon sleeper ... before a CHAKRAM takes down Colt. Colt would be folded as Yoshi went for the cover ... but a two count is met. The crowd applauds for Hashi's efforts, as he grabs Colt and drags him to his corner ... as Hirooki Goto tags in.

Goto and Hashi would both wrench the arms of Colt, before whipping him into the ropes ... and a BACK ELBOW/LEG LARIAT combo wipes down Colten. Goto would let Yoshi go back to his side, as he lifts up Colten from behind ... BUT COLTEN pushes Goto back. Goto would stumble into the ropes as Colten stumbles and falls to the floor, causing the ref to check on him ... WHICH ALLOWS AUSTIN TO CHEAP SHOT GOTO IN THE BACK OF THE SKULL!

Goto would fall to the mat due to this unsuspecting strike, as Colten recomposes himself and begins to LAY STOMPS INTO THE BACK OF HIROOKI! Colten would drop himself down, locking Goto into a Crossface, laughing while trying to squeeze the face of Goto into his cranium. Austin would make a mock crying face at the crowd and Yoshi as Colten rubs his forearm roughly over Goto's nose and lips.

Goto would manage to get a foot on the ropes, forcing Colten to relent. After letting Goto recoup himself for a few seconds, Colten would run and BOOT Hirooki right in the dome. Hirooki would flop to the ground, as Colten drags him and drops into a cover ... but Goto pushes Colt off of him. Colten wouldn't relent though, straddling Hirooki and striking him in the head!

Colt would then drag up Hirooki, looking to hit a suplex ... but GOTO strikes the sides of Colt, forcing him to stop his attempts. Colt would knee Hirooki in the gut, before driving his forearm right into the forehead. Bret would point out this unexpected brutality as Colt finally hits that snap suplex! Colt would pop up, strutting backwards and tagging in Austin!

Austin would climb into the ring, dragging Goto back as he attempted to crawl to his partner's side. Austin would STOMP the back of Hirooki's knee, slightly crippling him as Austin sized up Hirooki ... before a FAMEASSER plants him head first into the ground. Austin would turn Hirooki over ....

YOSHI-HASHI SNATCHES AUSTIN OFF OF HIROOKI! Hashi would get a few strikes onto Austin, before Colten drags Hashi off of his brother ... KNEE STRIKE! Colten would be stunned as Hashi hits KARMA onto Colt, wiping him out. Referee Earl Hebner would attempt to get Hashi back to his side, not noticing Austin has the FCW title in his grasps ... and Goto's getting up ... AUSTIN RUSHES AT GOTO WITH THE BELT!

BUT GOTO DUCKS! Goto would duck the title shot, hitting a sharp arm drag before waiting for Austin to get up ... JIGOKU KURUMA! Austin would hit the ground hard as Goto lays on the floor. Hashi would begin to stomp on the apron, to the beats of the audience's claps urging Goto to get up. Austin would begin to stir as Goto gets to a knee ... AND DIVES INTO THE TAG TO YOSHI-HASHI!

Hashi would immediately rush into the ring, dropping Austin with a lariat! Austin would roll up into ANOTHER LARIAT! Hashi would call for Austin to get up ... STANDING DROPKICK! Austin would land on the mat hard, as Hashi seemed to be calling for the Loose Explosion ... but boo's ring out as JAKE HAGER can be seen coming to the ring-side area. Hashi would point at Hager, ushering him to leave ... AND AUSTIN ROLLS HASHI BACK, GRABBING THE TIGHTS!

THRE-

HE KICKS OUT!

Hashi would barely kick out, being shocked at this very close fall. Austin would run at him but Hashi ducks and CATCHES HIM WITH A TILTAWHIRL BACKBREAKER ON THE WAY BACK! Hashi would almost go for the pin, but Hager would make his way onto the apron. Hebner would be distracted yet again, arguing with Hager. Through this, he doesn't notice the disturbance as SOMEONE DRAGS GOTO OFF THE APRON! Hashi would turn around to try and look at the man ... LOW BLOW FROM AUSTIN!

Hashi would drop to his knees, grabbing at his little Yoshi's as the mystery man enters the ring ... with it being very clear this is BILLY GUNN! Gunn would run forward and drop YOSHI-HASHI with a FAMEASSER, before rolling out of the ring. Hager would finally hop off as Austin tags in Colten, with the two picking up Hashi ,,, 3:10 TO YUMA! Colten makes the cover!

WINNER: The Gunn Club {11:39}

And the boo's roar in. Austin and Colten would hug each other, standing over YOSHI-HASHI's downed body. Billy Gunn, who seemed to be the newest man on AEW's roster, would pat the back of his son's, hugging them as they stood tall. Hager would enter the ring as well, having Hirooki Goto in his grasps. The Jericho Appreciation Society would stand over Goto's body. It seems Hager would about to add insult to injury with a powerbomb, but THE ACCLAIMED LEFT THE COMMENTARY BOOTH!

"Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens would enter the ring, sending both Gunn's to the mat. After some fighting with Hager and Billy, Hirooki Goto would pop up and assist the Acclaimed in taking out the JAS. The crowd would pop for this as Caster, Bowens, Goto, and a now standing YOSHI-HASHI pointed at the Jericho Appreciation Society, with an argument insuing from the sides. It seemed that a battle was won by the JAS, the war wasn't over!

Excalibur: What a hectic match! Can't say anyone besides the JAS are pleased with that result!

Bret Hart: Right I was about the Gunn's being weasels. If it wasn't for their dad, they'd have been staring at the lights.

Taz: We'll never know though, because RIGHT NOW, the Gunn's have just defeated a legendary tag team! That's got to stick them up the ladder for the tag gold!

We cut back to the ring, where the JAS finally retreated and the babyfaces were celebrating. BISHAMON would shake the hands of the Acclaimed, as the quartet left, letting us cut back to the commentators.

Bret Hart: Mind if I do the honors for this one Excalibur?

Excalibur: No problem.

Bret Hart: Well, now, we have Jim Ross standing in the back alongside the runner of Heavy Metal Mania, Atsushi Onita!

We cut to the back, with JR standing beside the Japanese Hardcore Icon Atsushi Onita, with his famed steel chair in one hand and a cigarette in another.

Jim Ross: Welcome Onita to AEW!

Atsushi Onita: おはようございます。It's an honor to be standing here at AEW. Not many people know me any more, but I'm glad to see I've inspired people.

JR: I'm glad to hear that. So, we've come to ask some questions about Heavy Metal Mania for WrestleCon. So, you're having what many are callin' a dream match against Chris Jericho, mind explaining why?

Atsushi Onita: Ahh. I appreciate Jericho's metal and how he's refirbished himself. I've been waiting for a showcase fitting to introduce myself on a big stage, so I made the match official. Though, Jericho has been ducking questions lately. So, the hope is I can personally approach him. I know he's here, and I want him to know I don't want the Lionheart he's bringing tonight in our match. I want the man they call the Demo God, I want the Chris Jericho who's an egotistical bastard. I want a show, and I want to have it with a figure that's as polarizing as me.

JR: Well spoken. How about your plans for Heavy Metal Mania?

Atsushi Onita: My plans are simple. I want to bring the most metal wrestlers in the world together. Hell, if it goes well, I might make a full in-ring return. Importantly though, the goal is to show everyone the best we in wrestling have to offer. If you think you're metal enough, come to my doorstep. We'll fit you right in.

Onita would maliciously grin at the camera, before JR walks off as the camera cuts back to the ring.

Excalibur: And now, we welcome you to the Main Event of Zero Hour for REVOLUTION!

**PUMPED TO WIN**
A mixed reaction, more leaned towards jeers, from the Orlando crowd as ACE AUSTIN comes out from the back, his signature card stuck in his mouth. His mouth is grinned, as if his brain has accepted the idea that he will win. Austin would strut to the ring, as stat man Excalibur got ready to fill us in.

Excalibur: This man right here is the "Ace of Spades" Ace Austin. This young man has held gold in TNA, CZW, AAW, WXW C4, and PWR in his very short career. He's young, he's arrogant, he's cocky, but with good reason. Because, the reason why he's number one contender is that he defeated professional wrestling legend Jeff Hardy clean in the middle of the ring.

Bret Hart: Ace Austin has the world ahead of him and has the skies to his disposal. He's willing to pull whatever mind games are needed to win, he's intelligent enough to work his way around an entire room, and he's one of wrestling's hottest prospects.

Taz: He's a scumbag, but so are a lot of people. Ace Austin has the swagger, the cockiness, the aura for success, but is the bright lights of Revolution too much for him? Unlike his opponent, Ace Austin has mostly competed for IMPACT under small crowds due to the pandemic, that's got to affect his mentality.

Excalibur: Good point right there Taz! Ace Austin, despite loving the attention, isn't used to this environment. The question is though, will he fit himself right in or will his admiration for the attention cause him to stumble?

Austin would finally slip into the ring, taking the card out of his mouth and showing it to the hard camera, revealing the Ace of Spades with a TNT Championship decorated on it. Ace would slip the card in his jacket, laying it down as he lightly slapped himself in the face, gathering his thoughts before waiting his opponent ... and the champion.

**LUCHA LIT**

Things are about to get lit ... lucha lit as the reigning TNT Champion Lince Dorado comes out to a great reaction, though pretty mild. Lince would get chants of "LUCHA!" similar to former LHP partner Kalisto as walks to the ring, the shining TNT belt illuminating into the crowd.

Taz: Lince Dorado is a man who's been underestimated by many people, but lately has shown why you don't turn a blind eye to him as he's gone on to take on some very tough challengers, including defeating Marcel Barthel in a great match last week.

Excalibur: Lince's competed in the Cruiserweight Classic, won the 2008 CHIKARA King of Trios, held titles in DREAMWAVE, RIOT, FIP, SCW, and the National Wrestling Alliance, and most importantly is currently the TNT Champion, who he won a 4-man ladder match for it back in January.

Bret Hart: I've heard the hype about Lince, but this is his chance to prove people who disagree with him as champion wrong. There are naysayers about everyone, but Lince seems to have attracted more than usual. I expect Lince though to prove all his doubters wrong.

Lince would climb onto the apron, staring down Ace, who seems to be examining all of his movements. Lince takes note of this as well, crouching as he enters the ring, steadily circling the ring, as both men are trying to get a read on each other.

**DING DING DING**

Both men kept their bodies low, eyeing each others every movement. Each step was motivated by the intent of advantage, with Lince laying his palm on the mat, to keep some control of momentum. Ace would move his body into a sprint position, as the pair looked for the best way to take the advantage. Lince slightly lunged forward, causing Ace to roll to the left, both men shifting their positions as they slowly rose up from the ground.

Neither man relented, not breaking their concentration as chants in support of both wrestlers drew in. Ace would smirk to this, offering his open palm as a way of giving Lince some respect. Though weary, Lince would meet his stance, before grasping his hand and shaking it. Both men tightened their grip after a few seconds of shaking, butting their heads together.

Ace would make the first move, dropping down and throwing Lince over him, letting Lince hit the mat with an arm drag. Ace kept his grip on the hand of Lince, wrenching it and flipping him over yet again, having the early hold advantage. Ace would look to drill his other forearm into Lince's neck, but Lince would lie back then KIPPED UP, taking advantage of the grip and monkey flipping Ace.

Both men's hands separated as Ace flipping up and landed on his soles, but would stumble due to momentum and crash his side into the turnbuckle. Lince would quickly roll up, dashing right at the turnbuckles and nailed Ace across the face with a flying forearm. Lince's body would end up on the middle rope as Ace stumbled out of the corner ... allowing Lince to hit a FLYING CROSSBODY!

Lince would land on Ace, but Ace managed to roll through miraculously, having Lince in his grasps. Despite Lince's fighting efforts, Ace managed to transition Lince's body into a FISHERMAN'S BUSTER POSITION! Lince's body would leap up into the air after the impact of the move, with Ace swiftly transitioning Dorado into a Close-Package Pin!

Lince would kick out right at two, doing a sommersault roll to create some distance. Ace's face wouldn't look disappointed, instead plagued with understanding as he pops right back up, rushing toward's Lince's destination. Ace would look to lock in a headlock, but Lince pushes right out, barreling off the ropes and hitting a MAJESTIC hurricanrana.

Ace's spine would land on the squared circle, but his never die spirit caused him to immediately get up. This would be a mistake as he took a drunken tumble through the middle rope, standing on the apron as Lince ran at him and grabbed his arm. Dorado would leap into the air, landing on the top rope as he began to cross the ropes like a tightrope, before flipping off and hitting a REVERSE DDT TO ACE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!

"Holy Shit" chants rang in as Ace and Lince laid on the outside, with Lince grabbing at his back as he made his way to his feet. Ace would be feeling the impact of the blow, gritting his teeth as Lince picked him up off the floor. Lince would then grab Ace by his pink hair and SLAMMED his head into the barricade, setting him back first to crowd. Lince would begin to wind up ... AND DRILLED A KICK right into the GUT of Ace.

Ace would cough due to the kick, the air being forcefully exhaled from his lungs. Dorado followed this up with a GNARLY knife-edge chop, before grabbing Ace and tossing him back in the ring. Lince would slide in right after Ace, running off the opposing ropes and nailed a seated Austin with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Lince would crawl right into the cover, hooking the leg!

Kick out! It seemed Lince's quick and early offense wasn't enough. Lince would take this though and began to work with it, scaling the ropes as Ace laid dazed on the mat. Dorado would slightly stand up on the top rope, the fans rising to their feet for the SHOOTING STAR PRESS!

BUT ACE GETS THE KNEES UP! Dorado's attempted finisher is blocked by the sharp knees impaling him right in the ribs and heard. Lince would flip due to the kinetic energy, as Ace began to crawl up to his feet. Dorado attempted to steady himself but Ace would drop him right down with a bicycle kick.

Lince would flop onto the mat as Ace teased going for a pin, but instead wagged his finger towards the crowd as he grabbed the mask of Lince, pulling it up as he PLANTS HIS KNEE INTO THE C7 SPINAL DISK OF DORADO! Lince would scream in pain as Ace looked to brutality torture his opponent, locking his clamped fists around the nose of Lince, rubbing it harshly.

Lince's legs would flail around, looking for a solid ground point, but Ace kept digging into the cervical vertebrae, very narrowly putting an absolute end to this match. However, before any lasting damage could be pulled off, Lince managed to cycle his body around to drag Ace forward, breaking his hold on his back. Dorado wouldn't be able to properly capitilize, as Ace spun around and lifted Lince right into a Roberts-Esque DDT!

Lince's skull bounced off the mat as Ace kipped up, taunting to the crowd. He looked at the ropes, the place he's most comfortable with, and began to scale them. As he reached the top, he stood up, letting the glory of the spotlight shine upon him as he hits a TREMENDOUS PHOENIX SPLASH! Ace and Lince's bodies collided together as Austin falls right into the cover!

THRE- NO!

Lince barely gets a shoulder up in time, as the crowd cheers and applauds for both men's efforts. Ace would bang on the mat some, letting off some of his frustrations before turning back to the champion. He'd grab at the mask of Lince, getting into his face and yelling "I'M THE FUTURE! I AM THE ACE OF SPADES!" before slapping Dorado.

Dorado's body would move with the momentum of the slap, but as if he were an inhuman flying machine, Lince popped up and hit a SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK to knock Ace silly. Lince would lie on the mat, as both men had exhausted themselves, as the crowd began to clap. Both men slowly crawled to their feet, meeting in the middle as Ace grabs Lince by the head ... and THROWS A FOREARM!

Lince falls back slightly, but comes RIGHT back with a STRIKE! Ace falls backwards ... FOREARM ... STRIKE ... FOREARM ... STRIKE ... FOREARM ... STRIKE ... FOREARM ... STRIKE ... FORE-

Lince would duck the next forearm, running off the ropes and hitting a FULL-BODY TWIST CROSSBODY, taking it back to his playstyle. Ace, on adrenaline, would pop right back up, running at Lince for a lariat ... but LINCE ducks and hits a HIGH ANGLE DROPKICK! Ace would roll backwards as Lince runs at him ... HURRI- ACE PUSHES Lince down! Lince would land on his hands and knees, trying to get up but GETTING HIT WITH A CANADIAN DESTROYER!

Lince's head would be driven into the mat as Ace smirked, picking himself up. He would walk over to his jacket, grabbing his lucky Ace of Spades and sticking it in his mouth. He'd pick up and exhausted Lince, grabbing him and locking his arms in for THE FOLD!

BUT LINCE PULLS HIM INTO A SMALL PACKAGE!

Ace would sell the stunner brilliantly, the card flying right out of his mouth as he went high into the air. WINNER & STILL AEW TNT CHAMPION: LINCE DORADO {15:12}

The crowd would applaud for the effort, a thrilling match to end Zero Hour and keep the fans HOT for the main show! Lince would crawl to his feet, grabbing his TNT Championship as he stood on top of the apron, the glistening gold being illuminated by the spotlight. Ace would be coming to on the mat, looking disappointed with himself. Lince would notice this, and walked over to Ace.

He would extend his hand out to Ace, who looked both confused and livid. Ace would seem to shake his head, going to walk out of the ring ... but he stops mid-way through. He enters back in the ring and turns to Lince ... TAKING HIS HAND! The two shake hands after a brilliant match, before the two hug each other.

Excalibur: Despite the cockiness, despite the brutality, both men are willing to admit the respect they have for each other after an absolutely amazing match.

Taz: I agree Excalibur, those are two One-Of-A-Kind talents and that handshakes marks the dignity of both men. Ace is cocky, he's arrogant, but he's not too proud to know when he's been bested.
