Episode 009
- The American Wrestling Association would arrive in Indiana with a show coming live from the Ford Center, Evansville. Tom Phillips would make the point of how happy he was that the American Wrestling Association was now in the state of Indiana and would remain here for the last few shows before WrestleRock 2022. He would then add that Jordynne Grace’s Open Challenge Series would continue tonight with the AWA Women’s Television Champion lined up to face Yuka Sakazaki and that match would open tonight’s show.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
The opening contest would energize the crowd with Yuka Sakazaki bringing her infectious enthusiasm and acrobatics to the table along with Grace who would play the role of powerhouse bully. Sakazaki would survive an early onslaught and build a comeback including a Senton Atomico to the outside. She would reverse a hammerlock and send Grace into the corner post. Yuka would go for the Magical Girl Splash but the contest would end when Grace would catch her out of midair and crush her with the Grace Driver to continue her dominant run as champion.
Winner: Jordynne Grace

- A battered and bruised Cesaro would cut an incensed promo backstage. The Swiss Superman would make the point that the rivalry between himself and Dr. Wagner, Jr. had started as a fun little cross promotion feud, but at Guerra de Titanes - Wagner had shown to the world just how much of a coward really was by relying on some goons to fight his battles for him. Cesaro said he was going to spend the next week healing up, but that he recommended that The Doctor put his big boy boots on because ever since the ambush in Mexico - now they were both at war. And during a time of war, everything goes!
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
The Hurt Business would...take care of business and control their own narrative by defeating CYN in a short but also spirited contest. Chris Hero would clear the ring on a few occasion but would ultimately be speared off his corner by Shelton after tagging out to Aries. Cedric would hit the Lumbar Check to put Aries away for the 3 count.
Winners: The Hurt Business
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Assistant General Manager Paige would announce the first match for AWA’s next Pay Per View WrestleRock 2022 - a Triple Threat contest for the currently vacant AWA Television Championship. Paige would then explain that over the next three weeks, three qualifying matches would take place to book themselves a slot at the show and that the first matchup would take place next between Bo Dallas and Akiza Tozawa.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Bo Dallas would attack Akira Tozawa on the entrance while he was hying up the crowd, much to the former's chagrin. Dallas would put the boots to Tozawa for a good amount of time and crowd began to chant for a Tozawa comeback. He would indulge and hit a flurry of strikes, followed up by an impressive feat of strength suplex. Akira would punch his ticket in the AWA Television triple threat by nailing Bo in the middle of the ring with his diving Senton.
Winner: Akira Tozawa

- Ronn Killings would be backstage and be interviewed by Lexy Nair. Killings would be noticeably annoyed and explain that last week he had been treated like a child by Adam Pearce and threatened with legal action - only for an announcement to be made not even by Adam, but by his assistant Paige not long ago. Ronn would make the point that he was not someone to be insulted or spoken down for a cheap rating boost only for a reveal to take place the following week that wasn’t even very extravagant. Killings would then look at the camera and reveal that it wasn’t hard to employ a lawyer of his own and that now all he wanted to do was find a way in which he could lay his hand on Adam Pearce’s neck.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
The first of two very physical match ups, Damien and Pete methodically attempted to take each other apart, piece by piece. Dunne would surprisingly take the lead early, using his smaller frame to escape early holds by Priest and frustrating him by countering with limb and digit manipulation. Damien would eventually be able to power out with a big sit out slam. Dunn would lock in an arm bar from the ground but Damien would deadlift him and powerbomb him back down. After a back and forth battle in the corner Damien would land some hard punches and set Pete up on the top rope and then putting him onto of his shoulders to hit the Razor's Edge.
Winner: Damien Priest
- After the contest Damien would request a microphone and name drop Austin Theory. He would then make the point from the position he was standing in, Austin was the only man standing in his way from challenging Keith Lee for the World Heavyweight Championship and so that is exactly what he wanted. A match next week against Theory live from the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.
- Theory would emerge from the back and agree to the suggestion and assert that he would never turn down a fight if it made sense and that this was surely the fight that AWA fans nationwide wanted to see.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Angel Garza would appear on camera by himself with his half of the Television Tag Team Championships slung over his shoulder. Garza would speak about their being an importance in history and roots and that where you come from as an individual will always shape you as the man or woman you are in the present day and despite what narrative you are living by blood is thicker than water, but the family you choose is stronger than anything else. Garza would end by stating that his heart had always been yellow and the rebellion within him had never died.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Walter would dominate Corbin for 95% of the match with thunderous chops and suplexes. Every time Corbin would mount a comeback, Walter would literally chop him down. Walter would play with his food until finally hitting a massive powerbomb for the pinfall victory.
Winner: WALTER
- After the match WALTER would state that if Keith Lee was truly limitless - then next week he would open the show by putting the AWA World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the true ‘Ring General of AWA’ and that his loss at Aces High had been a fluke victory and nothing more.
- Keith Lee would appear on the titantron with a big smile on his face and clap his hands and exclaim how pleased he was that someone had finally shown some courage and called him out and that he had grown worried why no one on the roster was willing to take him up on his challenge. Anytime. Anytime. He was always…LIMITLESS.
The second night of The Great American Bash was the ground for both the second round and the semi finals of the Junior Heavyweight Tournament, with a scheduled FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship match acting as filler for the tournament sandwich that would be taking place over the course of the evening as a build up to the main show that would take place on Sunday night.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: The first match of the evening would see New Japan Moriarty taking on AEW’s A-Kid in what would prove itself to be an exciting and high impact hitting start to the evening. Both men would be met with good reaction from fans within the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, who were very much enjoying what both men were bringing to the table. A-Kid would look to take the win by hitting Moriarty with a 450 Splash, but Lee would raise his knee and catch A-Kid in the stomach knocking all of the air out of him before hitting the Taiga Driver ‘18 to become the first match to earn a place in the semi finals.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: This contest would once again involved a comedic element from Mr. Iguana, although it was clear from the get go that Escobar really wanted to have nothing to do with Iguana’s nonsense and would proceed to get very angry and annoyed throughout the encounters and this anger would end up clouding his judgment and he almost suffered an embarrassing loss via a schoolboy rollup. Escobar wouldn’t let up after that moment and it would only be a few moments later that he would connect with the Phantom Driver to claim the win.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: The match would be intense encounter with Homicide being on the offensive for most of the match and would hit Brian Johnson with a set of heavy hitting moves whether it be the Gringo Cutter, Da Cop Killa, the Bronx Bomber 27 and a couple of nasty Shing Wizards, but everytime BJ would leave his opponent and the fans stunned when he would break the pin count and keep on fighting. Johnson would then go a step further by nailing Homicide with DDT-1 to claim a shock victory - with it being confirmed that Brian would face Santos Escobar in Semi Final One.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: The final second round match would be the second AEW versus. NJPW contest of the night and this match would not disappoint, with both men pushing the other to the limit in an absolute thriller of a technical contest with both men countering and transitioning moves with a heavy focus on submission moves, with Garcia forcing Yuta to tap after locking in the Dragon Sleeper. This would confirm Daniel Garcia to be facing Lee Moriarty in Semi Final Two.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: Mason Ryan had appointed himself the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship, but his match would be the first actual match involving the belt since his “reign” had officially begun. Austin Gunn would clearly throw a spanner into the Mason Ryan’s grand delusions of himself though, as it wouldn’t take very long for Gunn to drop Ryan onto his back with a Spinebuster before leaping off the turnbuckle and landing on top of Mason with the Fame-Ass-er and hold himself in place for the pinfall victory and becoming the new FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion in the process.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: The first semi final would prove to be a real test for both men and without a doubt would be seen by most as the match of the evening. Both men would come close multiple occasions whether it was Moriarty launching himself off the ropes with various springboard combinations or Escobar various DDT combinations that would be followed up with Abdominal Stretches with Santos very much having a game plan in place. It would be during one of these holds that Lee would muster up the strength and manage to counter the move and raise Escobar into the air and then turn the situation on its head by dropping him down with the Taiga Driver ‘18 to book himself a spot in tomorrow’s championship final.
Finish: Brian Johnson’s run in the Junior Heavyweight Tournament had very much become a cinderella story - with arguably one of the most talented free agents really impressing and he would continue to impress by going toe-to-toe with Daniel Garcia before getting massive pops and cheers from the fans when he would nail the former AAA World Junior Heavyweight Championship with the DDT-1 to seal the victory and book himself a match against Lee Moriarty with the the knowledge that one of the two of them would become the first champion since Barret Brown in 2017.
- The final night of The Great American Bash would officially get underway with a live musical performance by Maneskin who performed the official song for the show ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’.
- After the music performance - the PPV would officially get underway with the first contest of the evening.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: It was evidently clear from the reaction he received when he made his way out from the back, that the wrestling community still had a lot of love for Stevie Richards and this seemed to translate in almost home field advantage. This distribution of support seemed to be the cause of great irritation to reigning National Champion Tom Lawlor who was competing as a representative of All Elite Wrestling. And there were moments where it really looked like Stevie was going to win a title he had last held over twenty years ago when he would have Lawlor ground with both the Stevie Bomb and Stevie Kick - however Lawlor would show that he was in prime form and it would take much more to ground him. When fitness started become more apparent that it was going to take a lot to keep Lawlor down until he found himself in a position to do serious damage to Richard with the Kamigoye only to transition the move in the Nasty knee on the Brain to actually knock Richards out with the referee calling for the bell and preventing Lawlor on dishing out any further damage onto the old veteran.
* * * * * * * * * *
- Ahead of the Junior Heavyweight Tournament Final between Johnson and Moriarty that would see one of these two men crowned the new champion, NWA Commissioner Chris Van Vliet would officially unveil the belt would be awarded to the winner of the contest between both men.
- Van Vliet would then reveal that over the last few days, despite there being no involvement on the card of members of the American Wrestling Association and deal had been brokered with the President of the AWA Triple H which would see the belt featuring on episodes of Friday Night Firefight moving forwards and that the champion would be offered a temporary contract with promotion.
Finish: It was no surprise that Moriarty and Johnson were looking tired, with both men having competed in three matches already - but both men had fight in their hearts and it was clear that the motivation of winning the title was spearing them both forwards. The match would be a high speed affair with both men looking to end the contest as quickly as possible, with the contest turning into a bit of a spot fest involving a high degree of ‘flippy shit’. The match would end with Johsnon and Moriarty battling on the turnbuckle, with Brian attempting and failing to throw Moriaty off with a Super Hurricanrana only for the move to be blocked and instead countered and send them both flying off the top with a Spanish Fly. Moriarty would then leap onto the ropes and springboard off and down onto Johnson with a 450 Splash to end the contest and become the new NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: The combination of Cash and Dax would continue to show the wrestling world why they are currently seen as one of the very best tag teams in the world and the AEW World Tag Team Champions would come out of the gates with real intent and it was clear that both Evil Uno and Stu Grayson were caught slightly off guard by just how explosive FTR were right from the get go and Dark Order would be on the backfoot from that point onwards and would eventually claim the victory and thus become double champions by wiping out Grayson with the Big Rig!
- After the contest both Wheeler and Harwood would look very pleased with themselves as they would place the AEW belts over their right shoulders and their newly won NWA belts over their left shoulders as their theme music would loudly play around the arena. The footage would cut to a split-screen with FTR still celebrating in the ring, whilst Chris Van Vliet would be seen backstage shaking hands and seeming to be congratulating AEW owner Tony Khan with the likes of other influential representatives from the various global promotions also spotted in the background.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: The contest between Romero and Yoh would be lined with history and it was clear that as the challenger was keen to take the title away from his former mentor when he had been part of Roppongi 3K. With both men having very much built themselves up in New Japan - the match was very similar to Junior Heavyweight matches that were often seen on NJPW programming. And the match would start with both men impressing with similar energetic styles with Yoh utilizing moves like the Flying Elbow Strike and dropkicks, whilst Romero would be more focused in his approach and connect with Nomisugi Knee (Running knee strike) and roundhouse kick combinations.
Eventually though, Yoh would show his true nature and with the aid of Misterioso would start bending the rules to his advantage. And whether it was Misteriso distracting the referee allowing Yoh to rake Rocky’s eyes or Yoh diverting the attention of the referee long enough for Misterioso to connect with a few cheap shots it was obvious that Rocky was becoming more and more frustrated. When Rocky finally did snap he would charge at Yoh with a Discus Clothesline - but Yoh would duck and instead Rocky would end up taking out the match official. This would lead with Misterioso sliding into the ring and two-on-one assault taking place with the Mexican hitting Romero with a devastating La Rosa Driver (Inverted Sitout full nelson atomic drop off the second or third rope) before rolling out the ring as the referee would start to stir. Yoh would have massive smile across his face as he would wait patiently for Romero to stumble up onto his feet only for Yoh to end the match once and for all by dropping Rocky down hard onto the canvas with the Direct Drive and then apply the needed pressure to achieve the three count and become the new NWA World Television Champion.
* * * * * * * * * *
Finish: The match between Marty Scurll and Nick Aldis would be an exact rematch from the ROH x TNA co-production - although this time it was Marty Scurll who was in possession of the ‘Ten Pounds of Gold’ and it was clear by the look on Aldis’ face that he was mortified that he was now trying to reclaim a prize to a man he had never lost to. And very early on into the contest it looked as if Aldis was going to end the match much earlier than anyone had expected by nailing Scurll with the Mag Daddy Driver. However, the referee would deem that Marty’s legs had broken the rope barrier and refused to make the count. The early shock would actually seem to focus both men’s mind and the next ten minutes of the contest would be a close knit affair - only for Scurll to turn the match on its head and nail Nick with the Black Plague (Swinging Double Underhook Suplex) to retain the title strap - but leave questions in everyone’s mind in regards to who the better man was now they were at both at one win apiece in a matter of months. The question on everyone’s mind as Marty celebrated the victory was would there be a rubber match between both men in the future.

Finish: Many wrestling journalists and fans had made a point that Kamille’s ego had got the better of her by changing the contest into a Triple Threat match and adding Flair into the contest and now had to deal with two women rather than one - with both desperate not only to win the NWA World Women’s Championship, but to beat the living crap out of Kamille. And that is why in the early portions of the contest, with Hikaru and Charlotte showing a degree of teamwork that had existed in the Tornado Tag Contest at Bound By Honor and would do exactly what was needed by targeting Kamille from the get go. The two would lay a devastating beating down on the champion before Shida would nail Kamille with the Three Count (Running knee strike) before Charlotte would toss Kamille over the ropes and out of the ring with a devastating German suplex.
This would allow the mid-portion of the match to become a more traditional singles contest with Shida and Flair battling it amongst themselves with both women having very clear strategies in mind. Charlotte was looking to utilize the Figure Eight, whilst Shida was looking to use a leg lock of her own the Full Metal Muffler and with two very similar approaches the match would turn into a riveting technical contest. And it looked as if Hikaru was on course of claiming the win when she would grab hold of Charlotte and crash her down onto the mat with the Arawashi Driver. However - this would be the moment that Kamille would return to the ring and nail Shida with a Spear. Kamille would then turn his focus back to Charlotte and lift her up in the air only to lay her out with the Rolling Fireman’s Carry to bring an end to the contest and continue her dominant reign as the NWA World Women’s Champion.
The Great American Bash would come to an end with Kamille being handed ‘The Burke’ and be joined by The Bunny to savor the victory.
Following their participation in the Jr. Heavyweight Tournament at 'The Great American Bash' both Brian 'The Mecca' Johnson and PJ Black would be announced by Hisaya Imabayashi as the newest members of the UJWO roster.

Episode Eight Kyoto Prefectural Gymnasium, Kyoto, Japan
The show kicks off with the newly acquired theme from X Japan blaring throughout the arena as pyro goes off and the Japanese crowd roars.
The cheers would continue as the fabled Big Match John’s theme hits and he walks through the curtains to a gigantic ovation.
Cena: Kyoto Japan, the next champ is here! Last week, in one of the most famed buildings in all of professional wrestling, I put it all on the line. Loss after loss, I grinded and more importantly, I never gave up. Let that be a lesson to anybody out here or in the back, when you fall down…When you think you’ve got nothing left to give…There’s always an extra gear, so long as you believe in yourself and put in the work.
Last week I pinned the Intercontinental IWGP champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman. I pinned him in the middle of this very ring in front of the whole world. And now, Maxy boy…Well now you’re going to give me that title match! On March 19th at New Japan Cup Max I am taking your title and there is not a damn thing you can do about it!
MJF comes out from behind the curtain microphone but stays safely away on the ramp.
MJF: Cut my music, cut my music! John no one wants to hear your dated motivational speech from 2005, we’ve moved on bud. See you’re acting mighty confident right now, and I will give you that yes, you did beat me last week. But let’s be honest John, we both know that I was not close to 100% and I did you a favor by giving you that match. I also know for a fact that you used your dirty politics, just like you have your entire career, to bury my friends on the pre-show so they couldn’t support their best mensch in the main event. We both know that if neither of those things were the case, I’d have beaten you quicker than you change the color on your shirts when you start to become irrelevant again.
MJF: And really that’s what you are John, irrelevant and dated. Maxwell Jacob Friedman is the present. Maxwell Jacob Friedman is the future. You’re just going to be another footnote in my story!
Cena: Max you talk a lot of crap for a guy who just laid on his back for me. You can talk about being the present or the future all you want. The fact of the matter is, your cheap tanned ass is about to get whooped again and this time I’m taking your gold home with me, son!
MJF: John, you decrepit fool, you have no idea what you have started. You will be lucky to make it to the New Japan Cup.
From behind him Maclin slides into the ring with a bat and cracks Cena in the back of the head with it. MJF runs up to the ring and joins Maclin in the beat down. Massive spear by Maclin folds Cena in half. MJF demands he gets him up on his feet, takes out the diamond ring from his suit pocket and punches John Cena in the middle of the forehead, busting him open. Mjf stands over the bloody and barely conscious Cena.
MJF: Looks like I can still see you, huh bud?
Both MJF and Maclin walk away as NJPW officials and the medical team makes its way down to check on Cena.

Hiromu Takahashi vs Samoa Joe
The opening contest is the first of four remaining matches in the second round of the New Japan Cup.
Samoa Joe would play the Goliath to Hiromu’s David in a classic babyface in peril matchup. Hiromu would use his agility and speed to some positive effects early on, chopping Joe down with knee level drop kicks and flying forearms while dodging the power game. Joe would eventually use his own sneaky agility to position himself in a counter position and hit a gnarly Uranage on a sling blade attempt. Joe chops him down in the corner. Early Musclebuster attempt but it’s countered into a hurricanrana. Joe slides to the outside but Hiromu meets him head on with a senton atomico off the top rope.Back in the ring Hiromu heats up some more and actually pulls a feat of strength by lifting Joe on his shoulders and nailing him with his signature death valley driver onto the top rope. 2 count.
Chop exchange by both men and Hiromu hangs in there with the big man. Knee to the face by Hiromu. D Driver attempts but Joe powers out. Nasty punching combination by Joe into the corner. Signature pele style kick by Joe. He sets Hiromu on the top turnbuckle looking for the Muscle Buster. Takahashi continues to battle. Joe changes course and climbs up as well, looking now for a superplex. Hiromu slithers between his legs and under Joe and reverses…into a powerbomb!
1
2
So close! Hiromu lets out a battle cry. He kicks a downed Joe mercilessly and starts to pick him up looking for the Time Bomb 2. Hiromu can’t hold on and Joe uses his weight to roll backwards and take Hiromu’s back and after some struggle, wraps his forearm around the throat of Takahashi. The Coquina Clutch is cinched in. Hiromu refuses to quit and reaches for the ropes. It’s too late. The blood eventually stops going to his head and he loses consciousness. Red Shoes has to call it.
Winner: Samoa Joe - 18:01 – Choke-out via Coquina Clutch

Returning from commercial break the announcers let us know that Syuri will be making an open challenge defense tonight for the White Belt. They also confirm that the main event of the evening will be the round 2 New Japan Cup match of Naito for Hiroshi Tanahashi.
We then go backstage where Jushin Liger is standing by with IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.
(in Japanese) Liger: Okada-Chan, last week you punched your ticket to the quarter finals of the New Japan Cup. In doing so, you destroyed your stablemate, Toru Yano, in pretty embarrassing fashion. Did you not feel a bit bad with how quickly you beat him and with such aggression?
Okada: Okada…CHAN? Are you treating me like a child? Are you treating me with disrespect? I am the world champion of New Japan and you should know better than to use such disrespectful honorifics.
Liger : Okada-sama I meant no disrespect. I’ve known you for a long time and thought we were friends and could joke around.
Okada: Does it look like I have been joking around? Do I look like I am laughing? This tournament isn’t a joke. This title I proudly carry around is not a joke. Toru was not focused. He learned a lesson last week.
As he is about to continue Toru himself walks into the shot.
Toru: Okada-sama, what the hell man? I was trying to shake your hand and make the crowd happy. You refused and hit me from behind. We are supposed to be on the same team and you made a fool of me!
Okada: You made a fool of yourself. Just like you always do.
Toru: What the hell did you say?
Toru tries to posture up to Okada, but Okada immediately slaps him across the face. Toru grabs his face in shock.
Okada: Now get your ass back to the gym and train. You’re an embarrassment to this company.
Toru would look down at the floor and walk away.
Okada: I’m focused on one thing only, Liger, and that’s defending my title. If anyone else has a problem with how I behave in and out of the ring, they know where to find me.
Okada walks away from the show now. However, out of focus in a nearby hallway, we see a man all in black. Once the camera focuses, we see it is of course Malakai himself, savoring the nearby instability of the world champion.

Black Desire vs Cosmic Angels (Unagi and Blue) - non title
After both teams make their entrance and before the bell, a familiar music abruptly begins to play.
The doctor will see you now! Britt Baker emerges from the back and joins Nigel,Mauro and Kevin Kelly at the commentary desk. Britt declares she is here to scout the champs before she and Mickie James take their titles.
The match would be fairly quick with the champions going into high gear immediately almost to show off in front of Baker. After discarding Unagi on the outside, they would team up rapidly on Sky and SLK would put her on the top turnbuckle and execute Eternal Foe (Spanish Fly) for the easy victory.
Winners: Black Desire
After the fight Starlight Kid and Momo would charge up the ramp and Starlight Kid would get in Baker’s face. Some pushing and shoving would occur and SLK would pie face The Doctor. Referees and Mickie James would run out and hold Baker back as Kid would taunt and laugh at her.

Konosuke Takeshita vs Kota Ibushi
This match saw both men go absolutely all out in a breathtaking instant classic. Another huge test for the ex DDT phenom Takeshita as a former Ace of DDT Ibushi himself would stand in his way.
Big staredown to start, greco roman knuckle lock. Takeshita overpowers and throws Ibushi to the ropes. Dodges lariat by Ibushi, leg lariat by Ibushi. Takeshita gets up right away. Chop battle. Combinations by Ibushi and a midsection back kick. Flying forearm off the ropes puts Konosuke down for a brief 1 count.
Submission attempt by Ibushi but Konosuke powers out and lifts him up for a backdrop driver. Powerbomb attempt by Takeshita. Ibushi throws down punches and escapes. Standing V-trigger knee strike to the face by Ibushi.Reckless exploder suplex by Ibushi followed by a standing moonsault. 2 count this time with the pinfall.
Ibushi grabs both Takeshita’s wrists from behind and brings him to his feet in a straight jacket lock. Konosuke overpowers him and hucks him over his shoulder to the mat in front of them. Quick kip up by Ibushi who rushes Konosuke who side steps and throws him to the ropes. Konosuke charges the ropes himself right at Ibushi after he bounces back dodging a lariat in the process. Both men hit opposite ropes but it’s Konosuke who takes flight for a picture perfect jumping lariat that sends Ibushi turning inside out. Cover for a near 2 count.
Takeshita takes control and lights up Ibushis face with a series of brutal forearms after bringing him to a vertical base.Big vertical suplex immediately followed by a release german suplex. Ibushi is seeing stars on the apron. Another close 2 count when Takeshita goes in for a pin.
Takeshita taunts as if he wants to end it. He places Ibushi in a powerbomb position and attempts but Ibushi grabs the top rope and sends Konosuke to the outside with headscissors. Moonsault to the outside knocks down Takeshita again. Ibushi drags Takeshita to his feet and back into the ring. He climbs to the top and goes for a Phoenix Splash…but Takeshita gets the knees up! Both men are exhausted on the canvas.
Both men get to one knee and forearm each other in the face for a while and it rules. Rolling elbow by Konuske. Jumping knee strike by Ibushi. Forearm flurry by Kosuke. Kicking Combination by Ibushi ends in a low spin kick that kneels Takeshita. Standing knee strikes to the face but Konosuke manages to catch the knee of his running opponent and use his momentum to lift and spin for a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cover and Ibushi barely kicks out at 2.9!
Konosuke does a primal scream and lowers his knee pad. He runs at Ibushi who dodges the Flying Knee at the last moment and nails a desperate Poisonrana! He shakes off the pain and also roars out his battle spirit. He grabs Konosukes left wrist and struggles to bring him to his knees. He then grabs the right wrist. He arches back then launches himself and his right knee forward for the Kamigoye but Konuske catches him and stands up and absorbs the blow into his chest! He holds Ibushi in the air and slams him down into a modified power bomb like slam. He wastes no time and uses the reverse double wristlock he maintains and turns it into a straight jacket lock. He lifts Ibushi up off his feet and drives his head and neck backwards into the mat. He maintains form and gracefully balances his head on the canvas for a pinning combination. What a beautiful bridging straight-jacket german suplex.
1…2…3!
Winner: 24:01 Konosuke Takeshita via pinfall with a Bridging Straight-Jacket German Suplex
The crowd is stunned but jubilant as the young Konosuke Takeshita wins another dramatic upset! Ibushi can’t believe it, but ultimately hugs and raises Takeshita’s hand for the crowd to cheer.

Cena is in the arena infirmary being attended to by medical staff as a camera crew with Funaki enters and asks him about his status going into the New Japan Cup PPV.
“I may be a bit shook up and bloodied right now, but if you have followed me and my career, you know laying down and giving up are not in my vocabulary. If Lil’ Mac wants to step up to the franchise and gank him from behind, let’s see if he has the courage to do it face to face, man to man. Next week on World, logic be damned you me and you, in the ring, if you have the guts. Now I gotta get stitched up, peace!”
–
Back in the ring, Syuri is already in the ring stretching. Commentary informs us that she has demanded NJPW throw any challenger at her so she can keep sharp. Who it may be seems to be unknown to all.
It’s Hyper Misao! What is she even doing here, did she get lost? Who cares! She comes down and salutes the crowd and does very cool poses that make her look really tough!
She marches to the crowd’s delight and slides into a ring. Syurir is staring daggers at her but showing no emotion whatsoever.
Syuri vs. Hyper Misao
Misao waves to the crowd and goes to shake Syuri’s hand, who refuses. Massive punch from Syuri who unloads a flurry of follow up forearms to the side of the head. Kick to the side of the body. Arm drag takeover sits Misao down and Syuri goes for an armbar, forcing Misao to the ropes.
Misao rolls under the ropes to outside and runs away as Syuri chases her back into the ring. Misao hits the ropes and hits a flying forearm! Punch and kick combination from the hero! Roundhouse kick attempt by Syuri bu Misao ducks under and hits a backdrop driver. Syuri is stunned. Misao climbs the ropes and screams that she is a hero and Syuri gets back to her feet. She dives in with a crossbody! Syuiri catches her however, and dunks her on her neck with a modified air raid crash sitout driver.Syuriy quickly brings Misa to her knees and dumps her back on her face with a nasty arms locked Pedigree. Syuri climbs on top off the body and shoves her arm on top of her face to add insult to injury.

Tomohiro Ishii vs Rush
Both men would make their entrance, with Andrade accompanying Rush to the ring wearing his NEVER 6 man title belt. The match would be hard hitting on both sides and Ishii would begin to take control as Rush would unwisely try to outstrike him. Rush would attempt to rip out a turnbuckle pad, drawing the attention of the referee. Andrade would hop on the apron and get Ishii’s attention, allowing Rush to grab the sneakily slid in title belt and smash Ishii in the back of the head with it. Ishii would lay in the corner as Rush would discard the evidence and smash him in the face with his flying drop kick for the tainted victory.
Winner: Rush
Rush would celebrate with Andrade as Ishii lays in the ring wondering what happened. He won’t be happy looking back at this one.

A vignette plays of Kris Statlander cutting a promo right after her epic street fight tag win against Bea Priestley and Suzu Suzuki. She says her and Willow proved they belonged in Stardom and that they won’t be bullied by anyone. She then challenges Bea to a one on one match at New Japan Cup to settle the score once and for all between them.

Back from the commercial break, outside the arena, we see a sad Toru Yano, clearly upset with Okada’s treatment of him earlier setting up his DVD booth. After finally setting the last DVD case on a perfect angle with the others, Miro would come out of nowhere and flip his entire cart into the air. As it crashes down upside down he hits Yano with a thunderous lariat down into the concrete. It appears like Miro isn’t too happy about Yano upsetting and embarrassing him in the tournament in the 1st round.

The House of Black ( Matthews, Kenoh, Soya) w/ NEVER openweight Champion Brody King vs. L.A Dojo (Coughlin, Narita, Uemaru) w/ Katsuyori Shibata
House of Black make their entrance accompanied by the undisputed NEVER Openweight Champion Brody King to a lot of boos. In contrast, the Japanese crowd explodes as Shibat’s music hits and he leads his Dojo down the ramp.
The match would be especially hard hitting when Coughlin and the Red Hand members would be in, and more technical or speedy with the other competitors. All would look like absolute would beaters with LA Dojo especially wowing the crowd with their raw talent and explosiveness.
Brody King would successfully cause a distraction but is accosted by Shibata on the attempt of a second one. Some pushing and shoving occurs which leads to Red Hand mistiming a dirty tag and being forced back in for La Dojo to take advantage. Back on the outside Shibata and King are in an outright brawl. King smashes him into the barricade but misses a cannonball attempt.
In the ring, Matthews is distracted by King’s crash and burn into the barricade and misses a desperate tag from Soya. Alex Coughlin would take advantage and hit a series of devastating deadlift suplexes and a big powerbomb for the pinfall victory.
Winners: LA Dojo
Brody King would walk away with his team, clutching his lower back and cursing at Shibata in the process.

Backstage, Funaki would catch up with NJPW Tag Champions Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa.
Johnny: My man Funaki, we have been looking for you. Yes, we saw Best Friends become number one contenders last Wednesday on the 50th Anniversary show. We think that’s awesome and want to get this match done right away!
Campa: Woah woah woah there little buddy. You’re just coming off a cup loss, tonight's not the night. We can’t be taking risks like this when we are finally on top of the world. We need to prepare and heal.
Johnny: Well I believe we can take on anyone at any time!
Ciampa: And how did that work out for you in singles action huh?
Johnny: Better than you!
Ciampa: …Really? That’s the direction you wanna go man?
Johnny: Sorry…I got caught up in the moment.
Ciampa: …Sure. Either way, not tonight. New Japan Cup, Best Friends, bring your A game because you're gonna need it.
Ciampa walks away before Gargano can chip in further.
Gargano: Did I do something wrong?

Back from break the lights would turn off and then on again with Malakai Black appearing in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand. He addresses Okada once more, describing how he has now fully corrupted his mind and we are seeing the real Okada now. He says that deep down Okada doesn’t crave the attention of the fans or the respect of his peers. All Okada cares about is the prestige and glory that comes with being the NJPW World Heavyweight Champion. He says that we are seeing now that at his core, at his truest self, Okada will do anything to hold on to that power because without it he has no one and nothing. He asks how his friends feel now that he is treating them as an obstacle in his way. He mentions the disrespect he has shown to his own stablemates. He then asks if his wife at home is proud of what he has become and how he now behaves. He asks if Okada is the type of man that is still worthy of being a good husband. Maybe the man he has become now isn’t suited to be future father or family man, after all, being champion means it requires all his focus. He says that maybe since he is busy, he should pay Okada’s wife a visit in the middle of the night, since she must be awfully scared and lonely now.
Okada would come bursting out, only for Malakai to laugh and turn off the lights again. Once the lights come back on, Okada is in the ring by himself. He rushes to the back, destroying a few security guards trying to slow him down.
He comes through the curtain and throws a table to the side, screaming at anyone to tell him where Malakai is. Tanashi is present, getting ready for his main event match entrance. He tries to approach Okada who berates him immediately. When Tanahashi tries to put his hand on Okada’s shoulder, Okada violently throws his hand off him. Tanahashi shrugs and backs off.
Kenta Kobashi would appear and demand Okada calm himself and behave like a champion. Okada has completely lost it and shoves Kobashi in the chest and down to the ground. At this point all security personnel would finally contain Okada. Kobashi would stand up and dust himself off and tell Okada and the staff that he would be escorted out of the building for the evening. He would calmly tell Okada that he had made a grave error and that he had given him no choice to take further punitive actions. He says the consequences of his actions will have to be decided, but tonight's expulsion would not be the end of it.

Main Event
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Tetsuya Naito
The main event would deliver a classic NJPW matchup with all the bells and whistles you would expect from two of the very best to over lace ‘em in Japan.
The match would start on the inside with Naito working the lower back of Tanahashi. An early Gloria is countered. Strike exchange won by Naito. Dropkick to the back of Tana sends him to the outside.
Naito launches himself off the top rope for a crossbody to the outside. Beats up Tanahashi more on the floor but Tanahashi reverses a hammer throw and Naito ends up going face first into the corner post.
Tanashia takes over on the inside with a series of strikes and snap suplexes. Top rope elbow drop misses. Gloria by Naito for a 2 count. Naito works the lower back some more with some kicks. Locks in the Pluma Blanca, but Hiroshi eventually powers out of it with some elbows to the solar plexus.
Naito cuts off the comeback and goes for Destino but Tana pushes him off into the ropes and hits a couple of back to back sling blades. Top rope elbow drop hits and he puts Naito in the cloverleaf. Naito drags himself to the ropes eventually for the break.
Chop battle into a forearm strike exchange. Lariat dodges by Tanahashi who hits another sling blade. Bridging suplex attempt by Tanahashi, reversal by Naito, Destino attempt by Naito but Hiroshi lands on his feet to counter behind him. Snap dragon by Tana but Naito backflips onto his feet but lands gingerly. Naito grabs the neck. DESTINO!

Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi at 24:21 via pinfall (High Fly Flow)
The show would go off the air with Tanahashi celebrating on the top turnbuckle, making belt signs around his waist and playing air guitar. Naito would ice his neck and walk to the back, dejected and disgusted with himself.
Shawn Spears would find himself walking into uncharted waters with the Nagoya crowd very much cheering for Pokotan at every turn as Spears would become more and more frustrated by Pokotan comedic spots that would look to embarrass Spears at every turn and never allow the GCW talent to get off the mark. The match would end with Pokotan knocking Spears to the mat with Pouncing Headbutt, before leaping up into the air and squashing Spears with a Leg Drop to seal the victory.
Winner: Pokotan
- After the match, which would see Spears disappear to the back as quickly as possible, Lulu Pencil would join Pokotan in the ring. She would cup her ear as if Pokotan was speaking to her, before revealing that the two of them had booked two 2nd class tickets to Japan and were ready to face Chucky ‘Cheese’ Taylor at Once Upon A Time In Mexico

UJWO had promised to be a mainstay for Deathmatch and the four way contest involving some of the biggest names in the discipline would prove to be a bloody and devastating battle with no one taking any prisoners in the contest with some memorable moments taking place during the contest:
- Drew Parker would have his back completely sliced in a brutal manner by Masada and despite being dropped down hard on a steel chair wrapped in wire via Masadamizer (Death Valley Driver), the Brit would push himself back up to his defeat and demand he wanted another. Masada would oblige the request and nail Parker with a second Masadamizer and it would only be Atticus interrupting the pin that would stop the count.
- Miyu Yamashita and Atticus Cogar would also get to know each other on a more personal level with the two getting their hands on light tubes and proceeding to smash them over each other's heads making a gruesome bloody mess of the other. Yamashita would look to end the exchange with her signature Skull Kick, only for Cogar to catch it and counter the move into a Headlock Driver planting her face first down onto the remaining light tubes.
- Atticus Cogar and Masada would find themselves in need of serious medical attention, following the two men battling on the top of the turnbuckle. With ill intentions Miya Yamashita would take a running leap off a steel chair and smash into the air with a raised knee, with the forcing sending both men off the top and down below crashing down onto a board of barbed wire that was laid around the outside of the ring to deter any escapes during the contest.
- WIth Parker and Yamashita very much be the final two in the match the pair were a bloody mess and had no quit in them. That was until Miyu would catch Drew off-guard by Crash Rabbit Heat (Running knee strike), but rather than end the match she would grab a loose piece of wire and wrap it around her knee before charging forward again with a second strike before rolling Parker onto his back to claim the win.
Winner: Miyu Yamashita

The Donnas (Thekla & Guilia) vs. Broken (Harukaze & Kaya Toribami)
The final of the Princess Tag Team Tournament would prove to be a shockingly one-sided affair and despite how much that both Harukaze and Toribami had looked on their side of the bracket, they would end up living up to their own name as Guillia and Thekla would very much leave the pair looking broken. With Toribami wiped out on the floor at ringside, following being thrown into the security fence multiple times by Thekla earlier in the contest until Kaya wasn’t able to push up onto her own feet and even then Thekla would force her up and throw her into the fence one final time.
With the number advantage very much in The Donnas favor it wouldn’t take them long to wear down Harukaze with the finish coming with Thekla connecting with the Toxic Spider Death Drop only for Guilia to follow up and end the contest by hitting the Northern Lights Bomb (Scoop brainbuster) to win the contest and become the inaugural UJWO Princess Tag Team Champions.
Winners: The Donnas (Giulia & Thekla)

One thing was clear from the get go and that was that Ram Kaicho was in no mood to deal with any of the Pom’s nonsense and would start to brutally attack her opponent before their ring introductions had been completed. And from the way Kaicho was beating on Harajuku it wasn’t that shocking when Pom actually appeared to be crying, but this sign of distress and pain actually seemed to just entertain Kaicho who would cackle to herself only to drag her opponent up to her feet and lay Pom out with the Rainmaker to secure the victory and retain the International Princess Championship.
Winner: Ram Kaicho
+ + + + +
Mato Oishi would find himself in less of a wrestling match and more of an MMA contest and he looked like a fish out of water as soon as Sato sinked his hooks into Oishi with the champion showing no real signs of letting go and would noticeably wear down his opponent with a very regimented and focus ground game which at time actually seemed to annoy the crowd and despite being the ‘alleged’ babyface the champion would find himself in the unexpected position of receiving boos even after he nailed Mato with the Death Valley Bomb to secure the victory by climbing up to the top of the ladder.
Winner: Hikaru Sato
- Following the contest Mark Haskins and his wife Vicky would make their way out from the back microphone in hand. Haskins would talk about how he had originally signed with UJWO alongside his tag team partner BT Gunn with the intentions of winning tag team gold, but after having to watch the worst ladder match in the history of pro wrestling he had been left with no choice - but to declare himself as the next man who would challenge for the All Asia Junior Heavyweight Championship at Super Deluxe and that Hisaya Imabayashi had any sense he would book as soon as possible.
+ + + + +
- This was a case of a match that never happened - as whilst Okada was waiting in the ring for his chance at the gold, footage would emerge from backstage. It would show Extreme Champion Alex Colon lying on the top of the hood of a car with hundred of lacerations across his body and glass sticking out everywhere, with it being quite clear that someone had brutally attacked him although the reason for the attack was a complete mystery

Nakajima and Kyona would treat the fans to a hard hitting contest, and when Shoko realized that Jungle wasn’t going to tolerate her comedic elements - the champion would turn up the level and really bring vigor and determination to the matchup. Shoko would be greeted with support mid-match from fellow Kyuraku Kyomei member Moka Miyamoto, but would be chased away from ringside by Nippon Ganbare Union members Yuna Manase & YuuRI. This unexpected cameo appearance resulted in Kyona looking very confused - that would allow Shoko to take control of the situation to hit her with a Bridging Northern Light Suplex to retain the strap.
Winner: Shoko Nakajima

Purple Haze (Zeus & The Bodyguard) vs. Eruption (Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi)
The final of the International Tag Team Tournament would prove to be a really exciting contest with both Purple Haze and Eruption keeping each other on their toes and every time a pin attempt would take place, the hold would be broken up by an opposing partner keeping the match going on with the match moving past the fifteen minute mark with everyone involve shows signs of fatigue. The match would reach its conclusion with Sakaguchi run at full sprint across the ring apron and smash into Zeus with Kami no Migi Hiza (Jumping knee strike) keeping him out play, as Higuchi would take The Bodyguard off his feet with the Doctor Bomb (Gutwrench sitout powerbomb) to bring an end to the contest and crown Eruption as UJWO’s first International Tag Team Champions.
Winners: Eruption

The match between Rhino and PCO wouldn’t be the longest of matches, but it certainly would be the most intense of the evening with both men seeking intent on causing real damage to the other. PCO would impress by hitting moves like the Death Valley Driver, De-Animator (Diving senton bomb) and the Exploder Suplex. Rhino would win over the Japanese fans in his first defense of the belt by being just as exciting by hitting hard with various Belly-to-belly suplexes, Scoop powerslams and short arm lariat, and with both men showing a large degree of power it was clear that both men had taken quite a beating from each other. Rhino would scout his opponent before charging forward and chopping ‘The French Canadian Frankenstein’ in half with The Gore, only for the fans in Nagoya to look stunned as PCO would sit up in a similar fashion to that of the legendary Undertaker. When Rhino came charging in and connected with a second Gore, PCO would stay down and Rhino would take the victory successfully defending the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship for the first time.
Winner: Rhino
+ + + + +
- Prior to the match beginning, Tetsuya Endo would cut a promo that after watching Rhino take on PCO there was no doubt in his mind that the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship had now lost all worth and had been reduced to a title for old washed out men and expected Rhino’s next opponent to be just as washed out and that until the belt was held by someone of actual worth and quality - there was no doubt in his mind that the KO-D Openweight Championship was the number one title in Japan.
Endo and Lee would put on a match worthy of a main event, with the challenger very much matching the quality of the champion in what would be a first time meeting between both men and the fans in Nagoya were very clearly loving every moment of an absolute barn burner. The match would very much turn into a battle of signature moves with men hitting each other multiple times with patented finishing moves whether it be Endo’s Animal Crossing New Horizons (Pumphandle half nelson wheelbarrow driver) or Lee’s High-angle belly to back suplex. Both men though would be tough and resilient and their fire in both their hearts would continue to push them both into the deeper portions of the match. Endo would catch off Jake Lee with a crashing Headbutt and then would end the match by lifting up Lee and bringing him down to the canvass with an Argentine backbreaker rack transitioned into a sit-out powerbomb before transitioning into Yurikamome (Inverted lotus hold can opener) and forcing Lee to tap out.
Winner: Tetsuya Endo
- After the title presentation ceremony was complete, Endo would demand the microphone once again. Tetsuya would announce that he would be in Dallas, Texas for Super Deluxe as part of WrestleCon 2022 and that he fond memories of his last time in America as it had been where he had first won the KO-D belt. And seeing that he was in still possession of the most valuable belt in all of United Japan Wrestling Organization, he had booking power and ability and therefore he was calling the shot and that if Hisaya Imabayashi had a problem with what he was saying, then the event director could walk out from the back and cut his microphone.
- Endo would then smile and say he intended on claiming another big scalp and was looking to collect on what was owed and that when he had been the leader of Damnation it had actually meant something - but this spin off that Sasaki was leading was irrelevant. And he was going to offer him a shot at the belt - but Daisuke would have to put all the chips on the table. Beat him or bend the knee and accept him as the true leader of Damnation.
- Daisuke would come out of the back along with the rest of Damnation T.A.( MJ Paul, KANON & Nobuhiro Shimatani ) and accept the challenge and he was very much looking forward to bringing his old girlfriend home with him and showing all the Americans what a little bitch Endo truly was.
Season One - Episode 014
The NXT Season One playoffs would begin with the first two rounds of the bracket - the episode would not be live and it was clear that these matches had been recorded ahead of time.
* * * * * * * * * * *
Finish: If Alex Kane hadn’t got injured - Starboy Charlie wouldn’t have even qualified for the playoffs and from the way Starboy approach the match it was clear he wasn’t letting this second chance slip him by and would finish Bravo off by springboarding off the ropes and crashing down with the 450 Splash to win the contest.
* * * * * * * * * * *
Finish: Comorotto and Angels would have a really great contest, but it would be Angels who would advance by driving down hard onto the back of Nick’s neck with a Double Knee Drop to book himself a spot in the next round.
* * * * * * * * * * *
Finish: It had been confirmed earlier in the week that both Wayne and Charlie had both signed with New Japan and would depart for Japan as soon as their commitments with NXT were over. Both young stars would really impress in one of the better contests to have taken place during the season, but it would be Starboy who would pick up another win this time with the Cosmic Cutter to book himself a match against Anthony Ogogo in the quarter finals on the next episode.
* * * * * * * * * * *
Finish: Shawn Dean would really impress and pick up his win over Alan Angels with some style as he would debut a new signature move that would be called ‘Captain’s Volley’ (Slingshot Lariat) and would send Angels head over heels and allow Dean to book himself a match against Zenshi next week.
- Following the contest, an updated bracket would be shown and confirm that both quarter final and semi matches would take place on next week’s episode.
- The Inner Circle comes out to the ring to open the show. They address JAS attacking them last week and make it known that even if he had been invited to join it, they wouldn’t because what the hell is the Jericho Appreciation Society? It’s one thing to surround yourself with an inner circle when you’re the first world champion of a company to help you, but it’s a completely different thing to get simps. Sammy Guevara says he’s not simping for anyone.
- The Briscoes interrupt the festivities to ask LAX if they’re accepting their challenge for the tag titles?
- Eddie Kingston makes his way down and says he’s glad to see everyone knows what they’re doing at the big dance, but can’t help but notice that little Sammy is free and he thinks it would be swell if that partner would come to the rodeo with him? Sammy nods that he’d love to get a PPV paycheck.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- We see the three unmarked graves from last week as a hand pops up from the dirt. Another hand reaches into frame and pulls him to safety. Wolfe says that Young shouldn’t have buried them, as they’re not dead. He says you can’t just bury your past like it’s a fresh corpse, but if he wants to settle the score with Sanity, they can meet at the anniversary show in a huge buried alive match. He says that’s if there’s still a design to snuff out considering how he keeps misplacing his toys.
- Joe Doering steps into view as the man who pulled Sanity out of their shallow early tombs. Joe speaks directly to Deaner and says he knows what he said to him last week when he shut the door to the camera sunk in a little because he didn’t follow Eric Young lock and step in their match. He says he knows the thrall is enticing. He says that Young takes advantage of people at their weakest to get them to do his bidding and follow whatever life philosophy he believes in that week. Joe says he had cancer and thought the design would save his life, but instead he was left to hang. He asks Deaner to search his soul and see what believing in his design has actually achieved him?

Singles Match
Hikuleo vs. EVIL
Finish: EVIL would wrestle his first match as an official member of the ROH roster and show any of his doubters that he was still one of the very best in the industry and would claim the victory cleanly by taking Big Hik out with Everything Is EVIL.
- Tama appears on the HonorTron with the House of Torture laid out. He says it’s now just you and me.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Adam Cole is standing by for an interview. He says he’s still waiting to hear back from Kenny Omega about his challenge to finally settle their six-year bad blood. He says it is long overdue. He’s asked about the Righteous wanting a rematch for the ROH Tag Team Titles and responds that he doesn’t necessarily make those decisions. He says he’s got a challenge from the Bullet Club already on the table and if and when they can defend the belts, he’ll gladly give them a shot, but he wants their final rematch clause on the line at the 20th Anniversary Show since they technically have two wins over the former champs.
- He tells the BCOGs to watch the Undisputed Era in the main because he is now throwing out a six-man tag team invite to the Phenomenal AJ Styles. He says if he wants to stick his nose in his business with the Good Brothers, the OC can have their first match together in ROH in years. That’s if he’s not too tied up with Kenny Omega to show up. Cole says Omega can watch the show and see how kicking AJ’s ass is done and when he’s done, Omega can give him his answer for the crossover.
- Fale and Owens roll up as the interviewer leaves the set. They ask Cole where his “kingdom” is? They ask Cole if he thought their business was over after they attacked the Bullet Club in the parking lot and tried to take Fale and Owens out? They rough Cole up a little and say that he needs to tell OGK to be here in the ring for a tag match with Fale and Owens and when they beat OGK, they go into the Six-Man Tag Team Titles Match.
- He says ask the House of Torture if the BCOGs have come to play? They’re taking out all of the splinter groups that have formed from the Bullet Club and it doesn’t matter if you’re Elite, a House, or even an Orange County television show. They go as do their imitators and enablers like OGK.

- We cut to a dark area of the arena and see Eric Young standing between two chairs with yellow sweatshirts draped over the backs with two men standing behind them facing away from our view. Young says he gets it. You’re looking to restore the sanity of the parishioners of his design, but the thing that you failed to understand is violence is not one man. For it is in us all. We are the many.
- Young says they thought they could cut off the head of the proverbial hydra by taking Joe from us, but when you cut one down, we sprout two more, trust and believe Deaner still believes in the design, even if Joe has allowed in the sickness. He says they agree this can only end six feet deep. He says he’ll see them at their final resting place.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Tag Team Match General’s Jewel (Chase Owens & Bad Luck Fale) vs. The OGK (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett)
Finish: Owens and Fale would pick up the win, after Hikuleo would get involved and pull Bennett off the ring apron preventing him from tagging out. This would allow to Fale to nail Taven with a Powerbomb followed up with a Leg Drop from Chase to pick up the win.
- The Righteous come out and aren’t particularly happy. They never agreed to the stipulation of this match and now they don’t even get a shot at the TNA Tag Team Titles with OGK losing them on tour.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- The comms table also announced that Josh Woods will be defending the Pure Championship against Miro at the 20th Anniversary.
Episode Ten
- Jay White opens the show by coming to the ring and calling out for Hard Rock Juice Robinson. Jay says tonight there will be no ToJay show, but instead it’s going to be the rock hard show. Jay wants to know where Juice’s head is at? Jay says if David wants to throw back the shirt that’s no skin off his back, but Juice was supposed to help him expand the bullet club and make it stronger than ever and he wants to know why he threw back his shirt over David when bullet club is 4 life?
- Juice comes down to the ring and says that Finlay was his partner in crime for the better half of a decade and he let his doubt over failing to defeat his bullet club the last year cloud his judgement and muddle his mind, but unlike Kay who dumped Finlay like a bad habit, he wasn’t about to jump his own best friend. He says he could have gotten Finlay on board with the bullet club, but now he doesn’t know where either of them stay with each other or their club. He doesn’t want to fight either. Juice walks up the ramp and stops to turn around. He flashes Jay White the too sweet and Jay throws one up in return only to be swung around by David Finlay from behind and cracked in the head by Finlay’s familiar stick. He too sweets him.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- We’re backstage with the Foundation. Gresham holds up a bloody crumpled contract to start with. He begins by saying that this is what you wanted. Tracy says you wanted to tear down the foundation brick by brick, but you haven’t come to collect this mortgage because you’re too busy getting distracted by the rotten floorboards that is Lethal that you already ripped out of the house.
- Gresham says this is what happens when you let the crows come home to roost. You started this with him and while we’re grateful you exposed his heart to us, we can’t exactly sympathise that you’re feeling the wrath of the Righteous. We’ve been dealing with these sycophants for months. Tracy says that they say the enemy of my enemy is my friend, but I say I hope my two enemies take each other out and let us get back to our mission.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Cora Jade would feature in a strong challenge for the title, but with only Rok-C fighting in her corner - Gigi and Jacy would offer a number advantage that would allow Mandy to bend the rules to her advantage and successfully retain the belt after Gigi illegally raked Cora’s eyes.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- After the match Scott D’Amore addresses Toxic Attraction that if they keep wanting to get involved in these girls’ business, they can’t keep ducking matches with them. Gigi says she isn’t scared to wrestle Cora Jade. Scott says she misunderstood him. He doesn’t just mean Gigi and Cora, Toxic Attraction will defend their tag team titles against Cora Jade and Rok-C as a tandem live on PPV.
- D’Amore then turns his attention to Mandy and informs her that she’s pulling double duty this week after these shenanigans and will face the winner of the Ivelisse/Raquel rematch from the fittest qualifiers. He says she’s not allowed to interfere or she’ll be stripped of her championship.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Cody Rhodes enters David Finlay’s locker room. Finlay reminds Cody that while he appreciates his help in recent weeks with Jay White and the Bullet Club’s antics towards him and his partner, it was him and Juice that were the original thorns in HIS Bullet Club when Cody was calling himself the leader and having a civil war with Kenny Omega.
- He says that it was only a few months after the two of them clashed at the 2017 Wrestling Dontaku that he and Juice teamed for the first time. And ever since then, David and Juice have had several tag team matches with Cody and his Bullet Club Elite teammates. He also says that as of this moment, he doesn’t hold a single win against Cody Rhodes and his teammates. He’s trying to get through to his own partner Juice that they can handle business without a bullet club, but don’t make the mistake that he doesn’t also want this match to prove that they defeat his Elite team.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Kross and Lethal would feature in a high octane contest, with Karrion continuing his strong from in ROH by successfully defending the strap after cleaning out Jay by connecting with the Doomsday Saito.
- Righteous put a serious beating on Kross until the Foundation fought them off. Woods asks Kross if he’s still able to go and Kross says time waits for no man and he wouldn’t offer quarter to no man.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Kross would fight, but would look weak from the get go considering the fact that he was worn out stamina wise and had also taken a severe beating. Woods would lock Kross in the Knee Bar and rather than tap, Kross would battle in frustration until he would eventually pass out.
.
- After the contest, Jonathan Gresham come out and have respect for still trying to fight in the pure rules match even after he got attacked in the previous match and gutted it out and he didn’t even submit so he starts to challenge him for the world title when Jay lethal interrupts him and says that he didn’t pass the gauntlet match so no way should Kross still gets to have his title shot when Gresham says that he’ll take them both on.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Jay White approaches Juice with his hands on his head and an ice pack numbing the pain he received from Finlay’s earlier attack in the ring. Jay asks Juice if Finlay is trying to open Juice’s eyes to life without the 4 or if he’s after his crown? He says he needs to think about his motivations here after accepting the shirt and costing them their match against Suzuki-gun only to ask you team with him tonight against their biggest rivals?
- And why did he feel the need to wrap that dumb Irish thing around his noggin? Does he think this can be his new era? Jay asks Juice to search his soul and figure out what he wants before he blindly accepts what either himself or Finlay tells him. He says that Bullet Club is still Juice’s home, but he needs to get his head straight and figure out where his priorities lie because you can’t string them both along forever. He has a choice to make.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Dakota Kai would neutralise Diamante on the entrance ramp, with the pair fighting between each other through the crowd. This would allow Raquel Gonzalez to win the contest by laying Ivelisse out on the canvas with the Tejana Bomb!
- Hayter and Kai hold up Raquel’s arms as Las Sicarias look up from the ramp looking dejected.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Moose is being interviewed backstage. He’s asked about getting involved with the Cage and Enzo bout. He replies that these shore rejects have been sticking their noses in his business since his match with Brock Lesnar and these distractions are why he’s no longer a world champion. He vows to get even with Big Cass so he can get his head right to do what a wrestling god does best. Enzo’s the bait.
- Prince Nana re introduces himself to Moose and thanks him for his help last week. He says that the Machine didn’t need it, he says the Embassy is always looking for its crown jewel and if he’d be so inclined to accept some help in return, Cage would love to help him take out the garbage later tonight.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Before the match footage is shown of the TNA European Tour where Marty Scurll became NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion for the first time. Marty cuts a promo after his entrance about the importance of the NWA and its championships. He vows to make everyone that wore the ten pounds for gold proud and if anyone wants it, and that includes the good ole boys, they can take it. Because he has proven that he is the true villain of professional wrestling and he fears no man, guerrilla, or club. You’ll have to kill him to take it.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Scurll has Finlay in the chicken wing, but Bey pulls the ref out of the ring. Bey backs up with his hands up as Juice grabs Finlay’s stick and Cody chases Bey up the ramp to the back. Juice knocks Scurll out cold inside the ring and places Fin for the pin.
- A shocked and confused Finlay asks Juice what happened as they both leave the ring and collect their things. Finlay then notices Juice has his stick. Tanga Loa and Jado hit the ring and knock Scurll back down before lifting him up for Tanga’s slam.
- After slamming Scurll, Tanga picks up a mic and the NWA title. He proceeds to ask him if he has to kill him to take this? He says that Tama is busy snuffing out his own evil at the 20th show so he’s free and clear to end the villain once and for all. Flip Gordon attempts to make a save, but is taken out himself by Jado with a kendo for his troubles. Hangman’s theme plays as the Guerrillas of Destiny clear the ring. Page then checks on Scurll.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Las Sicarias assaulted Hayter in the back. Ivelisse tells Jamie that this was never about Raquel. She told her she wanted her. They were the final two in the survival of the fittest. Not Raquel. At the 20th Anniversary she’s coming for Jamie’s title shot.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: In an impressive six-man contest full of starpower, it would be the Undisputed Elite who would claim the win after Bobby Fish would force Anderson to tap after locking in the Fish Hook Deluxe Edition.
- After the match Don Callis gets off commentary and tells everyone in the ring to bow down before the wrestling god as Kenny Omega’s music hits. The Good Brothers stand between Omega and Styles as he makes his way into the ring. They too sweet their former leader as they hold off Styles. Callis tells them Good Brothers to keep him back if you don’t want him getting hurt before his title shot as Omega gives them the nod of approval.
- Omega says at Revolution he’ll beat the clock off the former club leader, but tonight he turns his attention to a man that’s never led a thing in his life. A man that was not fit to be elite so they killed him off and he laughs at the idea that he’s running around with his name with the man they drove out AEW in the first place. He says they may call this show Elite, but the only Elite brand in wrestling is AEW and with the Young Bucks in Japan, the Elite unit is dead, but if he wants the best bout machine at All Star Extravaganza, he runs from no man.
- Cole promises Omega that he will show him why despite calling himself a god and the best bout machine, he is just a man. A lesser man, a lesser Adam Cole. And he is undisputed and untapped. Omega rolls under the ring and glances over to Styles who’s up the ramp as Cole goes up to the corner turnbuckle to do his bay bay taunt and Omega quickly rolls back in and grabs Cole off the turnbuckle corner and into a one-winged Angel! Styles springboards from the apron in an attempt to hit his forearm on Omega, but he slides down just in time. He taunts Styles from the floor by showing his fingers and saying he was this close.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Cody is irate backstage. He says that this is twice now that Bey has cost him a tag team match. He says he hasn’t forgotten that technically speaking Bey has a win over the American Nightmare from the night Juice joined the Bullet Club. He says it all comes full circle. He says he will however show the Ultimate Finesser why you don’t mess with a member of the Nightmare Family at the 20th. Cody then sees Finlay and says he may not owe him any answers, but he’s gonna ask him anyway.
- He wants to know why he talked about proving himself against the Elite and showing Juice he didn’t need the Bullet Club only to resort to their own tactics and letting Chris Bey get involved in it. Finlay informs Cody that when he has his answers, he makes sure to give them to him, but right now he needs to get some of his own as soon as he tracks down the elusive Juice Robinson. Finlay promises Cody that he wants no part in the Bullet Club and that includes Cody’s knockoff offshoot of the Elite. Hangman steps into frame as Finlay backs off.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Brian Cage and Moose would prove to be the more explosive tag team, and despite the fact they were far less experienced as a pairing than Enzo and Cass would become much more dominant with the win coming after Cage would nail Enzo with the Drill Claw.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Juice is being interviewed about picking up the win over his longtime rival when Finlay walks in on it. Finlay asks why Bey was out there tonight and if he knew he would be? Juice says Finlay needs to relax as they got the job done. He feels there doesn’t need to be this constant tension between them and the Bullet Club if Finlay trusted him.
- Finlay says Jay was right about Juice needing to make his choice. Once he’s picked a side, he needs to stick with it. He says he’s not looking to break bread with Jay White. He doesn’t want this to be his era, either. He just wants Jay to get that he needs his permission to step foot in his ring.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Alexander and Rollins would feature in a really competitive contest, with both men having multiple chances of coming away with the victory. Rollins would trip over himself and end up knocking the referee over in a very clumsy and deliberate looking takedown. This would allow Kaun of the embassy to grab hold of a steel chair and smash it into Alexander’s head before ducking underneath the ring apron - only for Rollins to push past the referee for the cheap cover.
- After the match Punk confronts Rollins who has his new paid mercenaries attack him. Rollins proceeds to have Cage and the Gates of Agony triple bomb him in the middle of the ring as he puts his fist out like he used to do in the Shield. Rollins wants you to believe in the Visionary and Nana gets paid.
- Jon Moxley’s AEW theme music begins to blare throughout the arena. Rollins is visibly shocked. Mox grabs a microphone and asks Rollins if we’re still milking the Shield in 2022? He retorts for someone that stabbed it in the back, no one has tried to give it mouth to mouth resuscitation more. Mox says no one has more history with this pair of idiots so he’s travelling to the 20th Anniversary Show to watch this TNA title match in person.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- We are sent to Quinn McKay who is hosting a Tessa/Allysin Satellite Call about their history. Allysin says if she knew Tessa Blanchard was going to be allowed in Ring of Honor, she wouldn’t have stepped foot in their ring and certainly wouldn’t have given them the rights to their former NWA Women’s Tag Team Championship belts. WhichTessa here cost her her rematch to get them back from those skanks the Toxic Attraction.
- Tessa snickers at her whining about losing her tag team title match when she scorched her career. Allysin says that the problem is Tessa never wants to take any accountability for her actions and that’s why she’s locker room poison. Allysin then retells the stories of Tessa’s allegations in Japan.
- Tessa says isn’t it funny that she worked her ass off for years on the independent circuit and then on Impact television and there’s not a peep about about her being a problem to work with or being a supposed racist, but the moment she has a main event world title match all the women who didn’t have her spot were chomping at then it to tear her down. That’s unfortunately what women do now.
- Allysin says you’ve managed to keep finding work by snowing people in with this fake victim culture routine, but you can’t fool me. We’ve known each other for a real long time, girl and you’ve always been cancer everywhere you go. It’s why WWE passed. Allysin reminds Tessa that when this all broke two years ago, she tried to her best to dig up dirt back on her, but Allysin built herself a quality reputation.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Scott D’Amore calls Jay and Suzuki to the ring. He says the relationship with TNA is getting more and more strained and wants them both to promise that neither Bullet Club or Suzuki-gun will get involved in their matchup this weekend. Suzuki actually suggests a special guest referee in their match to keep the peace and volunteers David Finlay for the assignment. D’Amore isn’t sure if that’s a great idea and Jay concurs. Suggesting Juice instead. He wants to test his loyalty. D’Amore says oh no absolutely not as he sees that swerve coming from a mile away. David Finlay comes out and ensures D’Amore that he just wants to see a fair match and will not do anything to cost Jay.
- Juice appears on the HonorTron and says that Finlay was right. He’s pulled in too many directions and they need to figure out they’re own issues before they can make any decisions as a team. Juice suggests a match to determine the special guest referee in the match and whoever wins will also get to make the decision on their affiliations. Suzuki says he trusts David to call the match down the middle and he has faith he will defeat Juice. Jay also reluctantly agreed to the stipulations.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- We’re in the parking lot with Josh Alexander as Ian catches up with him as he’s leaving the arena. Josh vows that will not be his last opportunity at the TNA Championship. He is owed a rematch with CM Punk. He also swears that Rollins has an ass kicking with his name attached to it for costing him this opportunity. And it’ll be sooner than later.
- However, this is twice now that the Embassy has taken money to backstab him and his friends. So he’s going to collect Ethan who’ll be cleared to compete by the 20th Anniversary and they’ll meet the Gates of Agony there in the ring for their debut. He says that they will break them in nice and gentle and welcome them to the new North.

- After the epic opening contest, Kenny Omega cuts a good promo on AJ, going back to their history in the Bullet Club, while also hitting a slight jab at Adam Cole during this promo. Kenny ends up going hard on Styles, causing him to come out. The two argue for a bit, with AJ Styles telling Kenny that at Revolution, the time has come for Kenny Omega's grasp on AEW to come to an end. He's already lost his buddies in the Elite, so he's weakened. Both men would focus on their shared history which would help build up the rivalry between both men.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Shingo Takagi would be interviewed backstage by Tony Schiavone, where he talks about how he's admired Jericho from the start of his career. Watching this young kid break past all the nay-sayers to become one of the best to ever do it was one of his biggest inspirations, but now Shingo sees Jericho as a joke. Chris Jericho would come onto frame, flanked by Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, and Shayna Baszler. Garcia and Hager are pissed due to their loss earlier, which causes Shingo to make a remark about it. Garcia is about to attack Shingo, when Jericho holds him back, telling him the Jericho Appreciation Society is never rash with his attacks. Jericho says while Shingo may not appreciate him any more, many others still do ... leading to SHINGO BEING JUMPED BY THE GUNN CLUB! Chris Jericho would maniacally laugh as Colten and the new FCW Champion Austin Gunn attacked Shingo, holding him up so Jericho could fire a FIREBALL in his face. - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Bel Air and Rose have a clinic in the ring, with Rose combining her excellent wrestling skills and her cheating to pull out the win. Purrazzo would trip up Bel Air a few times, but seems uninterested in actually helping as the match continues on. This lack of outside interference causes Davina to get slightly frustrated, giving Bel Air enough time to hit the Kiss of Death and book herself a shot against Mercedes at Revolution.
- TNA’s Tour of Europe would continue with the traveling circus touching down in Rome, Italy with the episode being recorded at the Palalottomatica with a capacity of just over 11,000. The show would begin with a message from the General Manager’s office - although it was noticed straightaway that sitting in the chair was Jeff Jarrett. Jeff would confirm that when he and his father had setup Total Nonstop Action Wrestling with the intention of it one day becoming a global superpower and that following Rockstar Spud describing TNA as B-Show he had immediately had his management contract terminated and that moving forward Matt Bloom was holding the position as Interim General Manager until a more suitable candidate was found or Matt proven himself competent in the role.
- Jeff would then inform them that after tonight’s show in Italy, they would then travel to Germay before finishing off the European Tour in Cardiff, Wales. - After the contest, Mercedes would grab the microphone and congratulate Kamille for the manner in which she had dealt with both Charlotte Flair and Hikaru Shida at the Great American Bash - but from where she was standing she was next in line for a shot at the TNA Knockout’s Championship. This name drop result in Becky Lynch and Max the Impaler emerging from the back. Becky would inform Mercedes that next week her and her charity stooge would take on Max the Impaler and the newest member of the Lynchdom - Heidi Howitzer and that the War Party would make their TNA debut next week in Germany before she would put her belt on the line against Mercedes at Impact in Cardiff.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Ahead of his match X-Division Ranking Match against Rich Swann, recent signing Blake Christian would cut a promo in the middle of the ring in which he would make his intentions known that he fully intended on pushing his way up within the X-Division and earning himself a shot for the belt against Rey Fenix or whoever was holding the belt when he had earned his shot at the gold. Blake would make the point that New Japan had been foolish to trade him away, but he fully intended on showcasing his talents and sending a clear message that they had made the wrong decision letting him go.
Finish: Swann would prove to be a much stronger test than Amazing Red had been, but Christian would continue to show himself as a true talent for the future and dive onto Swann with a Springboard 450 Splash to claim the victory.
- After the contest Nosawa Rongai and Lance Archer would come out from the back - with Archer speaking on behalf of Nosawa. Archer would reveal that his fellow Suzuki-gun member wanted a piece of Blake Christian next week in Germany and that the veteran wrestler intended to teach the young rookie a lesson in respect.

- Backstage a lot of commotion would be coming from within Matt Bloom’s office, with the interim General Manager dealing with his first real headache he would be surrounded by Saya Kamitani, Brittany Blake, The Bunny and Kylie Rae with all four making demands that they should considered as the first person whom Kris Wolf should defend her TNA Women’s NEX GEN Championship against. Bloom would offer a very simple solution - and book all four women to face each other next week and that the winner of the contest would face Wolf for the belt at the European finale in Cardiff.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Dalton would be joined at ringside by the complete entourage of the League of Extraordinary Wrestling (Ultramantis Black, Amasis & Ophidian) and would end up distracting the referee with an impromptu boxer style water break involving a stool and a sponge. This would result in The Miz sliding into ring and nailing Knight with the Skull-Crushing Finale before rolling out of the ring and allow Dalton to capitalize by dragging Knight up onto his feet and finishing him off with by picking up only to plant him back down on the canvass with the Bang-A-Rang to successfully retain the Global Championship.
- Ultramantis Black would take to the microphone post match and introduce the newest members of LEW who had stepped through ‘The Great Portal’ with Kikutaro and Space Monkey emerging from the back and making their official TNA debuts. Ultramantis Black would declare that he and the two newest members of the League were the future of the Six Man Division and that they would honor Dalton by doing everything in their power to become future champion and lay down an open challenge to anyone in the back to come out and take them on right now.
- Out from the back would emerge JR Kratos and the West Coast Wrecking Crew who were all now officially members of the Roman Empire. Kratos would take to a microphone and inform Ultramantis Black that he was going to enjoy beating the crap out of him and the two other nerds that were standing in the ring that Mr. Bloom would have no choice but to give them a shot at the Bravo Brand ASAP.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Kratos and the WCWC would absolutely tear The Great Portal apart with the contest being a complete mismatch and the members of the Roman Empire sending a very clear message to the rest of the locker room when Kratos would nail Space Monkey with the Spear to claim the victory.
- After the match, all three members of the Roman Empire would get onto their knees and get into a prayer pose on the floor as the screen would light up and Roman Reigns would appear upon it. Roman would send a message very much intended only for Adam Page and would make the point that his Empire within TNA was growing, whilst Page had no one in his corner and no one watching his back and would offer Page an ultimatum and suggest that the two men go one-on-one in Cardiff in two weeks time with the stipulation that the loser of the contest leave TNA forever making the point that he saw no possible way by which both himself and Page could co-exist in the same promotion and would suggest that both men meet face-to-face in the ring next week for an official contract signing.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Backstage Zack Sabre, Jr. would cut a promo where he would be joined by his Dangerous Tekkers partner Taichi. ZSJ would make the point that after a conversation with Jeff Jarrett and Matt Bloom - it had now been confirmed that at Turning Point Japan Dangerous Tekkers would be guaranteed a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championships against whoever was in possession of the belts and that stipulation had been put in place that if anyone other than the champions and challengers got involved in the future match - then those individuals would either having their TNA contract instantly terminated or if they were members of another promotion the management team would seek to press the maximum sentence on any invader for breaking the law.
- ZSJ would make the point that Turning Point was still quite a while away and would explain that last week he and the rest of Suzuki-gun had attacked both teams in last week’s main-event simply because they wanted to remind everyone on the roster that they were the most dangerous and capable unit in TNA and that if either groups disagreed on this subject then they were more than happy to dish out another beating at a later date. Zack would state that Suzuki-gun weren’t bad guys, they weren’t villains and they weren’t heels. Instead - they were influencers and that everything they did and everything they said ended up changing the wrestling landscape on a weekly basis. And that whether it was an indie worker without any real accomplishments like Kenny King or a washed out veteran like Adam Copeland he would relish the chance to rub either of their faces in the dirt and show them or anyone else why he is the most talented technical wrestler in modern day wrestling.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
- Backstage KENTA would be joined by Pac, with the British noticeably wearing a matching tear with the emblazoned slogan ‘Go 2 Sleep Club’ . Pac would confirm himself as the newest member of KENTA’s group and explain that not only had he been let down in the past by friends, but he had also been let down by management and if things that been run properly he most likely would be in possession of the the TNA World Heavyweight Championship instead of the promotion being in a bizarre situation where the previous three champions had all been employed by Ring of Honor. Pac would say that he had full faith that KENTA would successfully bring the world title back to TNA - and it didn’t matter if it was Phillip Brooks or his title challenger who pulled up into Cardiff with the belt because the result will be the same. A Go 2 Sleep and a one, two, three.
- KENTA steps forward and announces that he isn’t a lazy man and he has no intention of being a lazy champion and that is why he has requested a match later on tonight and reveals that he will face Wardlow and despite not knowing much about the young man, notes that he will be scouting his potential and perhaps if he impresses he might consider him as a future member of this little clique he has been putting together.
- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -
Finish: Shelley and KUSHIDA come into the contest knowing a loss would result in their immediate elimination from the Super Tag League - and the Timesplitters would really step up to the plate and claim the victory with Amasis being nailed by the Slice Bread #2 before knocking Ophidan off the ring apron as KUSHIDA would lock in the Hoverboard Lock to get the submission victory.
- After the contest Aussie Open would emerge on the entrance ramp, with Kyle Fletcher congratulation the Timesplitters on their win before saying the victory was irrelevant because next week Aussie Open were going to tear a hole through these masked gigolos and book themselves onto the Cardiff show and become the inaugural TNA Super Tag Team Champions and continue a trend of being a member of another promotion and holding title belts belonging to a B-Show.

- Backstage a very annoyed looking LA Knight is talking exclusively with Renee Paquette. Knight would express his frustration of The Miz getting involved in his match with Dalton Castle and would suggest that the only reason The Miz had got involved was because he had been made irrelevant by losing the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship almost as soon as he won it. Knight would bring in Sonya Deville from the wings and make it clear that he understood the way The Miz and his wife operate and that he would enjoy becoming a permanent thorn in his side because from this point onwards he was dedicating himself fully to ruining The Miz’s life.

Finish: Wardlow and KENTA would feature in a top quality contest, with Wardlow really impressing and it was clear at time that KENTA was showing his opponent a large amount of respect. KENTA would bring the match to its head by nailing Wardlow with a Busaiku Knee and would follow up with the Game Over (Omoplata Crossface) which would leave Wardlow no choice but to tap out.
- Post-match both men would share a tense moment before KENTA would offer his hand with both men shaking hands and showing the ultimate sign of respect between two combatants.

- Backstage the camera would find themselves in the private locker-room of Nick Aldis and Kamille, with Kamille addressing the camera that at The Great American Bash she had reminded the rest of the world that in order to hold title gold you need to be smart and that with ‘The Burke’ still in her possession there was no doubt in her mind that she was one of the very best women in pro wrestling and would suggest in future that silly whores like Mercedes Martinez would do best to keep her thoughts to herself.
- Kamille would wish Penelope Ford the best of luck in Ring of Honor and that she would always be an honorary member of the House of Bricks, but that after a bit of strategy her good friend The Bunny had found two women that were a perfect fit for their little group. The Bunny would enter the shot from the right and would be followed into the room by Kay Lee Ray and Brittany Blake. The Bunny would introduce KLR and Brittany as ‘The Scarlet Witches’ and that the House of Bricks already had a solid foundation and things would continue to be strictly business.
- The segment would close with Nick Aldis stating that he was very pleased with everything that Kamille was bringing to the table and that very soon he would be joined by some friends of his own and that he might actually needed to speak to his old friend Jeff Jarrett to get a room upgrade to house all of his new friends.

Finish: CDK would impress and continue to be strong ambassadors for the extended LFI family, with Tenay commenting that the combination of Brookes and Takanashi having all the makings of being one of the biggest tag teams if the star aligned for them and would pick up the victory by Brookes nailing BUSHI with the Praying Mantis Bomb. The result meant that the match next week between CDK and The Usos would determine who topped Pool B in Super Tag League.

- A frustrated Edge and Christian would cut a promo in which they would make it known that the antics of Suzuki-gun weren’t going to forgotten anytime soon and clearly a bunch of Japanese and Gaijin refugees had forgotten where the fuck they were - because over in North America they were American Gods. And that between themselves and Randy Orton they had held a combined thirty-one world title between them and they fully expected Jack Perry to join them one day as a fellow world champion.
- The pair would be interrupted by John E. Bravo - who would suggest that rather than whining and complaining they should step up and actually do something about it. Christian Cage would chuckle and say that if Bravo wanted the American Gods to step up to the plate then he was going to go find Matt Bloom and talk about himself, Adam and Perry challenging for the Six Man Title next week in Germany. Bravo’s face painted a clear picture - that this was the last thing he wanted to happen and was regretting his sarcastic comments.

Finish: Kojo Doi would offer a challenge for Eddie, but it was clear that Edwards was that much better than Koji which wasn’t surprising considering the young Japanese star was still making a name for himself with UJWO. Edward would finish the match hurtling into Doi with a perfectly timed Boston Knee Party to keep him down for the three count and continue his reign as the GHC Heavyweight Champion.
- After the contest, Edwards would confirm that he would be getting on the first flight to Mexico to compete at AAA’s Once Upon A Time In Mexico and he didn’t know who he would be facing, but that really he didn’t matter because he saw nothing more important in his life, other than his wife and he fully intended on continuing to be the very best GHC Heavyweight Champion possible. Eddie would make the point though, that he wasn’t just focused on AAA and personally hoped that KENTA was the man who brought the TNA World Heavyweight Championship back home and brought an end to this lame invasion because he was growing sick and tired of the hashtag B-Show comments on social media.
