I can hear them already saying they haven’t felt very juicy lately and they need a pick up.

Greetings from Asbury Park would officially get underway with a live musical performance by Disturbed who performed the official song for the first show of the new era ‘Divisive’.

After the musical performance, the show would start with a short tribute video to Bigelow, with guys like RVD, Shane Douglas, Rhino and Dustin Rhodes saying some lines about the Beast from the East.

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - +

With the video having come to a conclusion, Justin Roberts would begin to announce the entrants for the evening’s opening contest - the scheduled Six Way Scramble match. Commissioner Mick Foley would emerge from the back and announce that the GCW Office had decided to put one more man in this Scramble. Foley wishes everyone a nice day and a couple of seconds later Tajiri's coming out, to the surprise of everyone with it being clear that the New Jersey fans were pumped by the last-minute addition.

greetings_matchbanner7eels.png

The Scramble match would be high speed and intense, with everyone involved in the contest putting on a good showing and showcasing their offense and warming up the fans in attendance. The match would come to a conclusion with Jordan Devlin having started to look more and more dominant and would be on the verge of finishing off Serpentico after connecting with a Saito Suplex before placing him onto his shoulders with the intention of connecting with Ireland’s Call - only for Tajiri to leap up onto the canvas and blind Devlin with the Green Mist.
Tajiri floors Devlin then and kills him with the Buzzsaw Kick, but Trey Miguel slides into the ring to get rid of Tajiri and then he pins Devlin to steal the victory and claim the first win within this new era of Game Changer Wrestling.

Winner: Trey Miguel

The Commentary team (Dave Prazak & Paul Wight) shortly go over the details of the GCW World Championship Tournament, talking about tonight's two matches and they announce that there will be two more First Round matches at the GCWxAAA Once Upon a Time in Mexico event.

greetings_matchbanner5af7t.png

The first match of the World Championship tournament would be a very standard one on one bout, that would become much more physical during the latter stages of the contest and that when the hard shots came in it would Luke Hawx that would find himself on the on the backfoot and dropped on his head by Brown with a Brainbuster to seal the deal and advance to the next round in the bracket.

Winner: Rampage Brown

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - +

Mark Henry would interview Elias Samson backstage about the Street Fight later on tonight against Shane Douglas. Elias would come off as extremely confident and cocky and make his intentions known that he was going to do everything in his power to win the match and that had even brought a space guitar with “The Franchise’s name on it”, just for this momentous night.

Garrison and Waller would deploy heel tactics for as long as possible, in order to stay in the driver’s seat for most of the bigger middle act, until some miscommunication between the two leads to a hot tag to New Jersey's own Bear Boulder, who cleans house. Waller, in the chaos, slides back into the ring with a chair, but Bronson prevents his partner from getting hit. Boulder then finishes Garrison off with a Sitout Powerbomb and claims the win for Bear Country.

Winners: Bear Country (Bear Boulder & Bear Bronson)

When the ring is empty again, Justin Roberts announces a very special guest, who turns out to be AWA's Diamond Dallas Page. DDP, also being from New Jersey and all that, gets a big reaction from the crowd and after he enters the ring, he cuts a promo, reminiscing about his time with Bigelow and Kanyon as the Jersey Triad and what both of the men mean to him. He gets interrupted by Indian sounding music and Tiger Raj Singh appears at the entrance. Singh, while he is on his way to the ring, talks about how he is disgusted by all the oldtimers and people who live in the past and getting off on nostalgia. He gets right in DDPs face and they start trash talking, until DDP is about to hit Singh, who immediately raises a hand and declares, with a sardonic grin on his face, that he'll sue DDP for everything he has, should he lay even one single finger on him, since he is not a GCW employee.

This leads to Heath emerging from and back and exchanging words with DDP, when he gets to the ring, before he addresses what Singh talked about, while DDP leaves. Heath talks about how guys like DDP or Kanyon or Bam Bam Bigelow, paved the way for guys like himself. He continues to say that they also defied the odds and became absolute legends in a business, in which loads of people probably thought they'd never gonna make it. Heath then closes by telling Singh that DDP may not be able to lay a finger on him, but he sure as shit can and with that they start brawling, which leads to their match starting a little bit earlier than had been planned with a referee rushing out from the back and calling for the bell.

greetings_matchbannerp9ehp.png

The contest is a heated fight that goes in and out of the ring, with Heath dominating mostly after he fired the first shot that led to the brawl. Singh turns it around, thanks to a low blow in the corner. Then it's pretty much just Heath surviving with Singh getting more and more frustrated. Finish sees Heath getting back into the driver's seat, when a masked figure jumps on the apron. With Heath and the Referee distracted for a moment, a second masked figure slides into the Ring, who drops Heath with some brass knucks. Both masked figures leave the ring and apron and Singh pins Heath for the victory.

Winner: Raj Singh

After the Match, Singh celebrates and with an evil smile on his face unmasks the two figures, who turn out to be Gama Sahota and Rohit Raju. Sahota then gives Singh the brass knucks and Tiger tells his two lackeys to hold Heath up. Before he can deal a devastating blow though, DDP returns with a chair to clear the ring. Singh, Sahota and Raju angrily retreat.

Backstage we see Mick Foley walking, when he gets approached by a pissed off Jordan Devlin. Devlin wants to know what kind of bullshit it is, to put Tajiri as a surprise in that Scramble Match. Foley says that he was just the messenger, even though he also thought it was a great idea to have a legend like Tajiri in the opener. Devlin isn't happy about that answer, and he says that he wants a one on one with Tajiri at the next show, which Foley approves.

The match was very evenly fought between both teams in a very clean and pretty old school style Tag Team match, with Hustle & Power getting the W with Calvin Tankman hitting JD with the Tankman Driver, after a back and forth sequence where either team could have won. Afterwards the four men shake hands, with a high level of respect clearly shared between both teams.

Winners: Hustle & Power (Calvin Tankman & E.J. Nduka)

Another short backstage interview follows, this time with Mark Henry and Shane Douglas. Douglas talks about how Elias can bring two, three, ten or fifty guitars. There is no way in hell that someone like Elias is gonna stand tall over "The Franchise", especially during this important tonight and dedicates his win tonight to Bam Bam.

The match between Rob Van Dam and Sias Young would be another back and forth match, with both men spending large periods of the match fighting outside of the ring itself. Silas would put RVD through an already set up table with Misery (Fireman’s Carry Cutter) with the intention of getting a count out victory, but RVD is able to break that in the very last moment. Afterwards RVD slowly gets back into his offense and after his usual signature moves, he goes up for the Five Star Frog Splash, which took a bit longer due to the damage Silas inflicted over the course of the match. That small delay gave Silas the opportunity to evade the Frog Splash and rolls out of the way as Van Dam winds himself. Silas immediately pins RVD with the help of a foot on the rope in the corner, and is met with a mixed reaction by the crowd for ‘bending the rules’ to claim the victory.

Winner: Silas Young

Silas immediately rolls out of the ring, where he celebrates, while RVD doesn't seem to know what happened there. The commentary team then goes over the upcoming Full Metal Mayhem match to crown the inaugural GCW Women's Champion. They explain that it is a Ladder Match in which all objects made out of metal are allowed to be used.

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - +

A short video plays in which all six participants get the chance to say something about the chance to become the first GCW Women's Champion.

greetings_matchbanner9yfn1.png

We start off with a big brawl, except for Natalya, who stayed in a corner, while LuFisto, Ludark and Rowe went to the outside one after another. Leaving Holidead and Rosemary in the Ring, who just stared at each other, before both turned their attention to Nattie, who immediately left the Ring. Holidead and Rosemary then start beating the hell out of each other.

While Nattie always tried to stay out of fights and steal the victory, the other five went all out. Rowe got killed by Rosemary and Holidead double teaming her onto one of the stairs, while LuFisto got rid of Ludark with the help of a chain. Holidead spikes Rosemary onto some chairs on the outside too, which lead to Holidead and LuFisto fighting. Natalya sneaks an attack with the same chain that LuFisto used earlier in and sends Lu to the outside, before fighting with Holidead on the ladder right below the Title Belt.

Natalya is then able to Powerbomb Holidead from the ladder onto another ladder, which is laid in the ring. Nattie then looks around and seemingly has no hurdles left, so she basically starts celebrating, even before she has one foot back on the ladder. Her smile then turns into shock, when a completely bloodied LuFisto slowly emerges from behind the apron. Lu lets out a scream and slides into the ring, while Nattie tries to rush up the ladder.

Both are on top and exchange blows with LuFisto headbutting Natalya hard a couple of times, Lu then reaches for the belt, but Nattie has one last ace in hand, in form of the chain she brought with her up the Ladder. She whips Lu once, but Lu still has some fingers on the belt. Nattie repeats the whipping, but after the third time, LuFisto catches the chain, pulls Nattie to her and delivers a harder headbutt. Natalya falls from the Ladder and with her last amount of energy, LuFisto pulls down the belt.

Winner: LuFisto

LuFisto then falls to the canvas, still holding onto the Title Belt and after a couple of moments, she can sit up in the Ring corner and examine through her crimson mask the GCW Women's Championship belt she just won.

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - +

Backstage we see Silas Young, who is about to leave the arena, when Rob Van Dam shows up. RVD gets in Silas' face about the way he cheated his way to victory earlier, but Silas just smirks and says he doesn't know what Rob is talking about, because the referee counted one, two, three in the middle of the ring and that is all that matters, when people look back at the one singles Match between RVD and Silas. Van Dam then says that if Silas is truly "The Last Real Man", as he calls himself, he would accept his challenge to a rematch, but Silas isn't interested and is about to leave, when RVD slaps him. The two start to brawl, until some backstage workers are able to separate them, while the two throw verbal insults at each other.

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - +

greetings_matchbanneronfch.png

The two go all out in this one, in and around the ring, as well as into the audience. At one point Elias and Shane are in a standoff with both having a guitar in their hands. Shortly after that they destroyed both guitars by bashing them together. In the seconds after that Elias tries to put Shane away after a kick in the balls and a DDT, but Douglas kicks out. Later on Shane delivers a Diving Headbutt (as a Tribute to Bigelow), but only gets a two count out of it.

The match finish sees both men drenched in blood, with Elias pulling a third guitar from under the ring. He goes for the killing shot, since Shane barely is able to get back to his feet, but Shane dodges, pulls the guitar from Elias and smashes it over Samson's head. Shane immediately catches Elias from dropping to the ground to finish him off with the Greetings From Asbury Park (Reverse Piledriver) and getting the victory.

Winner: Shane Douglas

Shane celebrates and while the ring is getting cleared for the evening main-event.

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - +

The fans are treated to one last promo before the Main Event. We see a video, where Rhino, who is tapping his wrists and hands, while sitting in a darkened locker room says he's going to win the UJWO Triple Crown title. We then see footage from him winning the Royal Rambo Match to earn this shot. Then he looks directly into the camera to address Kento. Rhino says that it is very likely that this is going to be his very last round around the block, his "last hurrah" and Kento would have to pretty much put him six feet under, to ruin his opportunity to put some gold around his waist once more.

greetings_matchbannerv8c42.png

The match would be an intense battle, with it being clear that Kento Miyahara was intent on continuing his solid run of form since the creation of the new UJWO super power. One thing would become clear very early on though, and that was that Rhino was intent on not allowing this opportunity to pass him by with the grizzled veteran pulling out everything from his arsenal to get the job done. Miyahara would attempt to take out his foe with the Blackout (Bicycle Knee Strike) only for Rhino to dodge and come back the other way and connect with the Gore, but he wouldn’t claim the win as Kento would grab for the bottom rope at the last possible moment. Rhino wouldn’t let up though and would send up nailing Miyahara with a second Gore, but it would have so much power behind it that the Triple Crown Champion would be sent from the ring.

The two men would fight with passion and intensity at ringside, and Miyahara would connect with Break Heart (Lifting double underhook facebuster), but when he would roll Rhino back into the ring his opponent would be clever and keep on rolling and exit the ring on the other side. The match would end with both men exhausted, but Rhino would break the deadlock and finally end the contest by nailing Miyahara with a third Gore to claim the victory and become the new champion.

Winner: Rhino

Rhino would help Miyahara back up to his feet and both men would shake hands, before Miyahara would present Rhino with his former title belt before raising Rhino’s hand in the air and confirming him as the new champion.
