Sheamus may not need a face turn but he needs something. He isn't going anywhere right now even though he has been featured in the main event a lot. I'd be all for attempting it.

I think a Sheamus face turn would be beneficial to him, all he needs to do is just keep kicking ass and he'll be in line to face Christian.

A face turn for Sheamus would be beneficial for him and for Smackdown. Have him beat Barrett convincingly and then up next could be Christian. I can see him having a stand off with Mark Henry in the future as well.

For some reason Sheamus vs Henry actually works for me. He has a lot better feud potential with a face turn plus I have seen Him vs Orton which seems like 5,232984 times and don't want to see it again.

I don't know about facing off with Mark Henry, they've done this dance too many times on Raw when they weren't a major focus. Having them face off again vould bring them back there.

If they build Sheamus up to be the face version of what Henry is at the moment I think it would be worth seeing. A big man match between the two dominant forces on Smackdown and the fans would really get behind Sheamus in that match. They don't have to do it right away but I would like to see it happen on Smackdown eventually.

Caught Smackdown earlier...

Really loved Bryan's promo and Cole worked him up well, Slater facing him was great and that promo. Really digged it, sucks Slater/Gabriel looks to be dead as a tag team. So much for the division. Really sucks.

The opening Christian/Orton was good. Loved the street fight

1. Sheamus as a heel didn't work for me partly because WWE tried to push him as a Vader like monster, and for me he doesn't have the look, the personaity and is simply not scary enough to fit that role. Also he was very green at the time, but the last few months he has improved greatly, and is now just coming into his own, I just hope he gets the support he needs.

2. Would like to see a feud with Christian, it would be something fresh in the main event, and the champion could also hide some of Sheamus' weakness'.

3. The fact Slater/Gabriel have held the tag titles three times already, and yet nobody knows who they are says all you need to know about the tag division.

Sheamus not a monster? He is gigantic. If he had a tan he would be bigger than Skip Sheffield.

But being a monster in wrestling has nothing to do with size [ok it does a little, but I think you get my drift]. Its how you use the size, how you act in interviews or during a entrance, how you wrestle and how a company promotes you.

Thing is for most of his heel run I have just found Sheamus' promos and expressions cartoonish. Vader was a monster, even Sid as crap as his was in the ring and on the mic was a monster, The Giant for most of his WCW was a monster. The Great Kahli is not a monster, just a very tall guy who looks lost when in a wrestling ring. That is the difference.

Big Show looked lost in WCW, he was terrible than. All he did was choke people and reminded people people of El Gigante ffs.

Sheamus was a monster, he was good on the mic. He played cocky, he played tough, he played everything needed. I don't see what you are saying.

You seem to be forgetting that Big Show as the Giant used be able to do a drop kick off the top rope, and was a much agile in the ring, but of course did the power moves also. It was only in his later days in WCW where he piled on the pounds, and became out of shape, and he has carried that on for much of his WWF/E career. I would say he is probley in his best shape in years right now.

Me and you will just have to agree to differ on Sheamus' heel run, but things are looking up, he needs to go face though.

I think that you are both right. Sheamus was a monster heel but after the KOTR win he turned into a cowardly heel which didn't work at all for him. It just shows how backwards WWE booking is, once they push someone to the top they find a way to drag them back down again.

Big Show suffered from agromony for crying out loud. He only got the surgery tio correct the condition in 2000. Do you know hoe hard itis to drop weight? You're an asshole right now.
