Guest
Beefcake interview

Last Monday, Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake was a guest of Joey Numbers and Boom Boom on a live edition of The Whole Effin Show. Here's a run down of what they discussed:

-- Brutus was asked about his outrageous costumes and admitted the fishnets were his idea.

-- Brutus talked about the transformation from heel to face as well as how his being hired had nothing to do with Hulk Hogan.

-- He mentioned his feelings on being pulled from the Intercontinental Title Match at SummerSlam 88 and how it was due to The Ultimate Warrior throwing a fit.

-- He confirmed he was slated to win the IC Title before his accident in 1990 and also talked of what the crowd at WrestleMania III was like.

-- He discussed his WCW days and they many characters he played there. He also had some colorful words for the owners, writers and fellow wrestlers in WCW.

-- He was asked about his feelings on the Hair vs. Hair match at WrestleMania 23 and how he would love to be involved in cutting one billionaires hair.

-- He shared his feelings on someday being inducted in WWE Hall of Fame and who would induct him.

-- He closed by promoting an upcoming appearance on Fox's Trading Spouses. As well as his indy work and the infamous Barber Shop with The Rockers.

- Sin Cara has noted to friends how much help Triple H has been with him and has talked about the frustration he's feeling with having to learn a new style of wrestling, all while the spotlight is on him. Cara is said to be fully aware of his situation of being in the right place at the right time and Triple H's first guy brought in as an international star.

As noted before, there was heat after officials were disappointed with Cara and Chavo Guerrero's match at Over the Limit. Regarding that match, Guerrero took all the heat from officials for the match not being good.

On a related note, when Cara signed with WWE, he went to CMLL owner Paco Alonso and to thank him for giving him his break, Cara said he would request from WWE a few dates per year to work for CMLL out of loyalty. Paco told Cara that you're either with him or against him, and had no interest in Cara working dates for CMLL while he's signed with WWE
Gotta be super hard for the guy in all honesty. All the pressure on him to become a huge star whilst at the same time having to learn a new style and not being able to speak the language.

- Kris Zellner reports that WWE failed to patent the "Sin Cara" name in Mexico so Cara's former promotion, EMLL, has filed for a patent on the name instead.
Anybody actually understand what this would mean? Does it mean that EMLL could have a guy potraying the 'Sin Cara' character in their promotion?

Basically if WWE uses the name Sin Cara in Mexico, they would have to pay CMLL for it. That is at least my understanding of it

That as it relates to live events, there would have to be compensation as it relates to Mexico shows and advertising. The wrestler bit wouldn't fly if cmll showed their cara in other markets where it was already claimed by WWE and would open them up to a suit, so there would not be a cmll cara that competes at the Tokyo dome for example

Smart on their part I guess when it comes to business but seems like they are really pissed that WWE took their biggest star which was expected.

These fucking idiots couldn't have sent him to FCW for 6 months? "Hey buddy, we're gonna throw you straight on tv even though the language barrier makes you physically incapable of cutting promos and you won't be compatible in the ring with absolutely anyone.....we're countin' on ya!"

Fucks sake. :fp: :fp:
