Sin Cara has been decent so far, but still not going crazy for him. He really needs a finisher because I have no idea what he is doing. I haven't watched Smackdown in a while so I can't really rate. He looked decent in short work on Raw, but I finally got to see his botch against Chavo and it was brutal!! I will cut him slack, he's adjusting but I can't believe the pops he's getting so far. I guess fire works and jumping like your ass is on fire gets you all the love.

Daniel Bryan is easily the most under appreciated superstar these days. He was stuck on Raw and not being able to show his true talents. I think going to Smackdown is the best move ever for him because he can now wrestle for eight to ten minutes. Bryan is so underrated and I really hope they do this. Rhodes can win the Money In The Bank but have Bryan have a nice feud with him that leads to Summerslam. Either Rhoedes or Barrett would be the best feud for Bryan. I can really see him rising up the card.

The Sin Cara hype is starting to fade so the lighting is helping to bring more attention to his matches. The WWE invested a lot into this guy. They hyped the living crap out of him up to his arrival. And they continued to hype him as the next Mysterio. The next Mexican star to reach out to that demographic. But I will say for me... it is kind of getting tiresome. He needs somethin fresh. Something to keep that enigmatic feel about him relevant... and for goodness sakes fix the lights. Make it easier for people to watch the show wit the lights properly on instead of this dimmed crap.

And Daniel Bryan... the guy is severely underutilized. He doesn't need a lot of mic time. He doesn't need a valet. All he needs are matches. Matches to display his talent. Benoit didn't need mic time. All Benoit had to do was go out there and perform and show why he was that damn good. Bryan gets that chance and he'll be up there. Not expecting him to be a future world champion or anything but he could be showcased a lot more than he currently is.

God yes. Finally someone who sees the same way I do. He's nothing more than a spot monkey really, and IDK how many times I've seen him botch now.

While some of the things he does are pretty cool, that's all he is.

Bryan should be getting way more of a push right now.

How is he a spot monkey? He uses lucha moves and really only has one or two big spots a match. His style is very much like a young Rey Mysterio........lucha libre. There's a big difference between that and being a spot monkey.

A spot monkey is someone who constantly uses the same spots in every match, Ric Flair can be considered as such, but it's more relegated to "spots" because people think that means some kind of high risk aspect, but a spot is just something a wrestler likes to do in his matches.

Everybody has "spots" in that aspect. A "spot monkey" is a guy who relies on dangerous seeming spots in order to make a match look good (Jeff Hardy) because they don't have actual wrestling skill.

Yeah a better definition of a spot monkey would be someone like Teddy Hart or Jack Evans. They pull off some incredible moves... but for what? It doesn't help the match, doesn't flow with the match, or anything. AJ Styles used to be a spot monkey in early TNA but he toned his style down a lot and now he has a better understanding of when to bust those moves out.

Sin Cara is hardly what would be considered a spot monkey.

I consider him a spot monkey. In the matches that he's in he show boats with moves that aren't neccessary in the match he could do a simple leg takedown but does some hurricanrana into a leg sweep combo move thing just to show off. It's not necessary and its those types of moves that get guys injured.

In all honesty, let's wait for MITB and see what he can do there. Ladders and spots... Most likely he'll qualify and be part of that. That will speak a lot about him there I guess.

Not every high flyer can transform their moves from the basic ring work to ladder matches successfully. And the style that he works more than likely would not work well in that type of environment.

........so every Lucha Libre wrestler is a spot monkey now?

Every luchador in a primarily non luchador federation... Yes

Not every Luchadore is a spot monkey, but most spot monkeys are Luchadores.

Deezy said it best tbh.

Cara is being built like Rey did the first time in the WWE, he will lose at a ppv soon, probably Summerslam. I find him entertaining too me he is not that bad, he is Rey clone like John McHenry said, only he is younger. Trust me Prod he will change.
