List sent, this one was tough they were all good songs.
I’m going to listen to more Nightwish, Warlock, and Arch Enemy now.
Nightwish is amazing, but they have had two singers. Tara Turunen was the original one, and she was around until their album One, which I think is like 2004 or 2005, and from there Floor Jansen took over, and is probably the more popular of the two even though both women are amazing and each have their high points.
Arch Enemy is great and is probably one of the best bands to help people get into Melodic Death Metal, and they have had two female singers, though the original was male named Johan Liiva, and after him you have Angela Gossow, who I think is better than Alissa White-Gulz, and of course you have Alissa now as the current singer, who is still good, but Angela was just a tad better in my opinion. Alissa also was in and formed the band The Agonist, which I recommend checking out as well.
Finally, Warlock was one of the first few heavy metal bands that helped shaped the German Metal sound and one of the few that had a female vocalist at the time. That being Doro Pesch, who also just simply goes Doro, and she is often credited as The Metal Queen or The First Woman of Metal. Sadly, they only have four or five albums, but Doro has a solo project that is really great and you should check it out.
