No, because the WWE didn't know all the facts then, I 'd say if they knew he killed his family than they wouldn't have done it at all, but it was just the timing, they shouldn't apologize for anything unless it's that horrible Vince McMahon angle.

That's hardly fair to say. Just a week ago everyone loved Chris Benoit, and he was always one of the greatest wrestlers in the world, despite what he's done over the weekend. And to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Crippler go into the Hall of Fame next year, so I think it's out of line to call him a "no good bastard"

No they shouldn't, they did what they thought was right and now they have removed the tributes from wwe and vince has even banned the word benoit from backstage apparently. so they have done more than enough to acknowledge their deaths. IT IS ABOUT TIME THE WWE GET BACK TO WHAT THEY DO BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE, PUTTING ON GREAT WRESTLING SHOWS WITH SOME OF THE BEST TALENTS IN THE WORL TODAY.
Anyone thinking Benoit is going into ANY HOF is wrong. The WWE pretty much wrote him out of history, you can go look at the website for proof of that. No merchandise, no listings on 24/7, DVDs, all the news, it's all gone. The WWE wants NO association with the Benoit name or story any longer. They've washed their hands of the situation, or at least trying their best to, and there is no way they need to apologize for running a tribute show under false pretenses. They've handled the situation as professionally as possible. You can't ask for more because of a sick act perpetrated by one individual.
No, and it showed a lot of McMahons character when he came out and apologized on ECW. Mr. Empty Sack needs to realize that as far as they knew, they were doing something that was good and right, and they still did as far as they know. Ask one wrestler how Benoit was when they interacted with them, not ONE will tell you he was psychotic, angry, or violent in any way.
