no for me as well. Thay did not have all the facts at the time. you gotta think that the news broke the same time they were getting ready for the show. With 3 hours booked for live tv.....what else could they do?

Naaah, they didn't know he had murdered his family, but it was just a tribute to his career...But I still don't think someone who murdered family deserves a tribute, no matter how great he was.
No they shouldn't apologise. At the time, they were honouring a potential Legend in their industry. They had no knowledge of the true events leading to his death, so acted accordingly.
