Oh, herro California!
Well it's not their fault they haven't done anything, that's all on booking's shoulders. Even having Bret help them take the titles off of DX would have been an interesting move. Yeah it would have killed the possibility of HBK/Bret squashing their beef... but TBH that was just awkward and uncomfortable anyway.

Haha I wasn't blaming them personally.

Well, I guess it would be kinda weird to 'make up' with a guy who fucked your WWE career in the ass at the very end. I've really hated people before and I always found it weird to have to talk to them, especially when they know you can't stand them.

But that awkwardness, where they can't exactly look you in the eye is so amusing Lady.

the only reason the screwjob happened was cuz the selfish prick wanted to leave the wwe as champ. um vince had to do what was best for the biz, Would vince allow Cena, Batista, or Orton to retire as champ to go over to WWE? hell no! so i have no clue why bret had bitter feelings over a little match. he was lucky enough to be invited back so idk why anyone thinks vince screwed bret.

Man, as soon as Bret got up and took off the cast to say it was never broken, I just threw my hands up in the air. The funny thing was that before Raw started, The Score aired an interview with Bret and he was sitting there with his fucking cast on. Just funny how much effort goes into selling it and then he just whips it off and LLOLLLLLLOOOOOL I WAS NEVER HURT, THANK GOODNESS FOR JOHN CENA.

It just felt like such a weak way to get Bret to fight at WM. Just let people think he wont do it and then OH WOW MAN HE WAS NEVER HURT, I AM SO PUMPED (not). What a terrible storyline.

Yeah man because if someone agreed with your idea and then embarrassed you infront of your home country, you wouldn't be upset either.

He faked a broken leg because he knew Vince was a coward and would never get in the ring with him on an even footing. Vince bought it hook, line and sinker. I don't see what the problem was with the angle.

What are you on about? That closing segment last night was great. I don't think it could've been executed any better than it was.

Well, like I said in the RAW thread. Just him WALKING out the past few weeks putting most of his weight on the cast binding the leg that was shattered by a car? Come on... it was just so brutally obvious. I'm sure they could have had some better way for Bret to "screw" Vince and have it go down at Mania.

Personally I think Brett tarnished his legacy by coming back to the wwe now that i think about it. Despite what we all think about the screw-job in Montreal, if he would've just had his last appearance getting the hall of fame induction in 2005 and been done with it, I would've respected that. It's funny how before he came back to the wwe he always said that he'd never be involved in another wwe storyline again! Liar! Hey that's what money will do right.

The whole angle is premised on the notion that Vince would not fight a reasonably healthy Bret Hart. Now while I can understand your issues with with him walking on the cast, and I'll take your word on that because tbh I never noticed, but I feel that you are being wayyy to nit picky here.

And of course it was obvious that he was faking the leg injury. We all understand that wrestling is fake and that he didn't really break his leg and that he wouldn't be wrestling with a "broken leg."

Come on now, there is smarkism and then there is smarkism.

It's fucking stupid and boring.

What a very well thought out opinion. You probably had to really rack your brains for that one.

You'd think the best there ever was would have done a better job selling a limp is all I'm saying. Hell... ALL HE HAD TO DO WITH NOT WALK ON THE LEG! That's what crutches are for! LOL. That's all I'm asking. It's not being nit picky, it's a pretty major detail of having a broken leg. And if anything, this is one of those storylines that deserves to be nit picked, it's wrapping up a 15 year old angle.
