I was being facetious about literally suggesting Tony should be disrespectful to a man he’s never worked with over just a rumor he might be coming in. I wasn’t being serious.

Also, as Chris is saying Shane’s character is just not that good. I have zero interest in seeing him as character whatsoever.

I don’t know Shane on a personal level but like the points about him leaving several times though is if I did have a personal reason to not care about Shane, that’s actually why. He wasn’t really that committed. Anytime he had the possibility of doing something other than wrestling, he was all for it. He even tried to get Vince to give him the UFC.

Who says we'd get anything close to what they did with the Shane/KO/Sami story?

My brother I know you're talking about Smark, but I'm only reacting to the on screen character that was one of the worst I've seen since he returned in 2016. I'm kinda shocked you're so for it lmao his shit with KO and Sami was ass and they made the worst Vince shit work when Shane wasnt involved

Not just Smark
Tbh the last run was kinda ass
I just always liked Shane as a performer and would like to see what he would do in a world that his dad isn’t the owner and it’s something completely fresh. I respect Shane for walking aways when WWE was still making a shit ton of money and that he would do shit he didn’t have to do. I think for a short run with a good storyline of him coming in and financially backing the elite could work well.

Yes the man leaving his family business to try and make his own money is a real reason not to like someone. WTF

I won’t lie, the only way I would accept it would be if he was with The Elite. Other than that, hard pass. lol

I've always liked Shane too and I don't hold any of the on screen stuff against him (even if he had a hand in creative, whatever he just isn't a good booker either but he wouldn't be brought in as that). But I just don't see appeal in adding him, I think it would come off as a bad parody of "the name says McMahon but not Vince" if he joined the elite as some sort of backer

What if he was Shane Jackson?

Anyway I’m clearly in the minority here and I won’t be heartbroken if it doesn’t work out but if it did happen I’m shocked you all don’t have the faith in TK that he could make it be good

People dislike people for all sorts of reasons. I don’t think about Shane one way or the other if he’s away from the wrestling business, making his own money, but if we’re specifically talking about him coming back to the Wrestling business. Yes, I can use his non-commitment to the wrestling business as a reason, I don’t want him to return to the Wrestling business.

But, that was only because you brought that up. I mostly just don’t like his character and like Chris don’t want to see it. I had my fill in 2016.

I don't really have the blind faith I had in TK anymore I think he's stretched himself too thin for it. Not saying he's burned me very often, but I had 100% faith in everything around 2021 or so and that has faded

I’m taking a short break from live discussions as I had a feeling people are not going to like my current opinions. People already agitated that I didn’t like that will osprey defeated Roderick Strong, so I figured people would be equally irritated. If I mentioned, I don’t like the fact that he’s already in the world title match after winning the international title so I was just taking a short break but I’m still watching and I’ll be back by forbidden door.

I’m on your side bro. I want to see it happen strictly cause I want to watch the internet react when some version of “Here Comes The Money” hits
