I don't think there's every been stories of Shane being a piece of shit either, he was estranged from Vince for a long time then got railroaded when he came back. I didn't a lot of his booking but I kind of refuse to believe he forced his way into all those angles personally

You're telling me to look at Vince McMahon's mindset from the point of view of someone whose thoughts make sense. Vince just isn't that. Even if he did sign off on his son's booking, the fact that he fired him the next day over it proves that he'd rather not be associated with it once it turned out it sucked
