For instance Darby has a TNT title shot then a world title shot that's not good creative for the casual fan to get more eyes on AEW. ( Darby's won me over for his never say die attitude.

Shane has issued a statement.

" Tony and I were connected through a mutal friend and we had a great meeting today. We talked about many things,but mostly our shared love for the business and the rewards and challenges of working with family. I congratulated on the five year anniversary of AEW and look forward his he evolves the business moving forward "

So it was a casual meeting and that's it mercedes was the link and JR took the call from Shane.

He told His Dad to buy UFC when it was on the up late 90's and to have ECW online. But nope Stubborn old dirty man said no and no. Look at WWE ratings and records, AEW same last year with attendance at wembley and the five year anniversary. Here's to another 5 years and a lot more.
