Save the United States Championship

The tux match is a brilliant idea. But I don't think Santino will be holding onto the title for much longer. A nice Ryback/Sandow feud may be nice?

Honestly, why not give it so a massive guy? Give John Cena another reign with the belt. Does he need it? Nope, but the championship does... this might be a first.. a champion needs a wrestler more than a wrestler needs a championship...

But seriously, all attention will be put on the United States championship due to the popularity of Cena and also the shock that he actually won it. Then, when the next guy beats Cena for the belt, that will put him over massively.

Oh, and I'm only using John Cena as an example.. probably the best example I can use considering he really has nothing to do in the business any more. He has done everything now

Good idea, but here's my idea..... Randy Orton; u, MD might know him as Blandey Boreton. Orton may never be given his main event spot back once he returns. So why not throw the US title on him and let the mid card prosper? I'd love to see Mr RKO holding the US title for about a year, feuding with Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro, Drew McIntyre, R-Truth, Kofi, Sin Cara, Tyson Kidd and Mike McGillicutty.

This isn't bad but why not put in on Mysterio? He is credible and isn't worthy of being the top guy. He had a solid IC title run a few years back. He'd be my pick.

The only worthwhile thing I see Mysterio doing is an angel with Sin Cara. I'd team them up as Los Luchadoré, have them win the tag titles, hold the belts until Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber, turn on each other leading to a match at Mania. After that, wish Rey all the best with his future endeavours

There is no doubt in my mind that the United States title is beyond salvageable. If I were booking, I'd have Antonio Cesaro beat Santino, cut a promo about how Europe is superior to the USA (which it is) and replace the US title with a new look European Championship. I'd have various guys challenging for the title and make it more a matter of national pride than a mid card title. How else better to create babyfaces than have them defend the honour of America and let those dumbass yank fans chant USA! USA! USA! This could even get Jack Swagger over....as a face!!

Wouldn't be a bad idea at all. Cesaro would be a good choice to take the title and this storyline is one that is guaranteed to get over with the crowd. Would also allow them to bring in a new US title design down the line.

When/if Mysterio returns I agree that he should end up in either the US or IC title division to add more credibility there plus his days in the mainevent should be over.
