I personally love the series. The Third was just brilliant in my opinion. But what do you guys think? What are your thoughts on the games, and what do you think of the idea of a fourth one already in development?

I thoroughly enjoyed the third one. but only because I skipped the second I feel. I will be skipping the fourth, then hoping for a rebranded version on a next gen console.
I'm not dishing out 600 bucks for the new PS4 whenever it comes out, besides, these current consoles aren't really outdated...
BUT DUDE! Play the second one, it's pretty sweet. I recommend getting it on ps3, I have for both now, but originally played it on the 360, controls are pretty fucked for driving, but other than that, it's a solid game with lots to do. Just wish they would make multiplayer similar to GTA where you can roam around if you wish.

I found driving controls are always fucked for saints row games. The stories are always well put together tho, and keep you wanting to finish the game as fast as possible then re play on a harder level.
Plus I like how there was sometimes options that would change the story slightly, wither it was going to a certain place and saving someone... Or shooting them in the face instead of letting them walk away, the game always seemed fun to pick up and waste an hour or two on. With that being said I can't wait for a fourth, but honestly with GTA V coming out probably sometime this or next year... Well will there be any point of buying saints row 4?

Driving controls felt like PS2 controls for GTA, it gets frustrating after awhile.

First one was alright, hate the last mission... I don't know why but I struggled with it a lot. The second one was much better. I loved the missions for that. And the third was just secks. So much to do! You could run around naked killed people with an oversized dildo!
