How does nostalgia not play a part in what song you like more though, especially in this case? It's TV themes so obviously if you grew up with a theme song and loved that theme song and the TV show it's probably going to win over something you never watched and a song you've barely heard.

Nostalgia doesn't make something better. I grew up loving Magnum PI and I'm not a big fan Charmed but the charmed theme is a much better song. Turning this into a generational thing pretty much negates doing this at all. Should we all aim to choose stuff from the majorities generation instead choosing what we actually think is good?

You guys are getting way too defensive over me not picking the Greatest American Hero theme and I'm pretty sure nostalgia is for THAT show is fueling all that anyway because you guys are acting like it's some masterpiece. I like the Pokemon theme song, I prefer the Pokemon theme song, if I'm going to listen to either of these songs it's going to be the Pokemon one every time, why would I not vote for it and why should I be made to feel like I shouldn't vote for it?
