Seems like you copy and paste the same thing about Ryder anytime he comes up.

I say almost the same thing because it's true and all I need to say. There's not much else you can say about the goofball.

Then why say anything at all then? Kinda pointless is all I'm saying if you really don't care for him as much as you say.

Ryder has a point but then I agree with what WAL had to say and am not a big fan of his anyway the midcard should be about his level at best.

Zach Ryder is in the Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger club of gimmicks that are way too stale and in dire need of a change.

Yes but those two have far more talent which is the difference.

This times a 1000. Plus you can never question if they bring it or if they are going through the motions. That to me is the difference.

Heck Primo is a guy I rather see than Ryder be it tag or solo. Yeah I aprayer see that old Primo theme he had on Superstars than Radio. I used to love to watch him every week on WGN.

Im not saying Ryder is alone in the coasting role as I think Yoshi, Zeke, Mason, and a couple others are guilty too once they lost regular roles or were demoted to Superstars. It's also why I respect Kidd, Hawkins, Rek, JTg, and the like more

Reading that interview it seemed pretty clear to me that he was in character, he wasn't actually coming out and saying that Kane and Eve should have treated him better. It is a scripted show after all. That was when his character did go downhill but he can always bounce back from there, with this gimmick he is never going to be a world champion but he can easily be a midcard champion again. If he made a few tweaks and became a bit more serious then he might be able to move up the card more.

I think Zack Ryder is too underrated nowadays. Come on he's not that bad in the ring and he managed to get over just with the internet and some corny videos. If WWE didn't drop the ball he could easily still be the US Champ yet we have a character who's similar to Ryder in the commedy aspect but more annoying.

I never got what people were thinking he should be doing when he got a chance to shine.

It was like people were expecting him to get a World Title run, but the WWE only promoted him the way he got over on the internet. He acted like a goof, and thats what WWE creative made him.

If he was to be taken serious, he would have comb his hair and drop the headband and go talk some shit.

Thing is... That fued kinda DID fuck everything up for him. His friend Cena didn't have his back when he needed it, he got pummeled by Kane several times, and manipulated by Eve. Yet through it all, despite being at the height of his underdog push, Ryder never got his payoff or moment of triumph.

The way I see it, his character was shat on by Creative in an angle that didn't really go anywhere. Ryder has reason to be upset imo.

Then again, I find his gimmick irritating.

They dropped the ball on him big time in my opinion. He was over big time, ready to have a good title run yet he drops it to that idiot Jack Swagger? Stupid.

Ryder is just one of those guys who's never going to make it super big. There's nearly a hundred of these types of wrestlers in the WWE every era, and sadly Ryder is just one of them. He just doesn't measure up well to the other superstars he's surrounded with and lacks in comparison.

After thinking it over, I really doubt it would make a difference if creative repacked him or handled him differently in the past. I just don't see many redeeming skills/talents/qualities about him, nothing that really stands out that several other superstars don't already have. He's a hard worker, but I really hate that expression too because everyone in WWE is a "hard worker". They have to be or they never would have made it as far as they did. I've never seen how that is such an exceptional compliment. I honestly believe that it's wrestlers like Ryder that often make fans confuse the word "potential" with "unremarkable".
