Ryder says Kane & Eve killed his career

Can't really say that as really you can never tell how far someone can go. Don't think anyone saw him go to the popularity point he was at with this gimmick coming from being a bland major brother. So no telling if he made some changes to his character how far he could go. I don't think he'll get to main event status or anything I just don't see it as impossible.

Of course it's not impossible, but I think we can all stop kidding ourselves and admit that it's not very likely either. He does absolutely nothing better than his peers. At least with people like Mr. Kennedy, we saw that level of charisma and top flight mic work that we've seen in the greats of wrestling's past. Or Brian Kendrick's impressive wrestling ability that everyone thought would propel him to considerable heights and how Paul London had become the Marty Jannety of their tag team .Or even with Shelton Benjamin and his world class athleticism (even though I never gave him much chance as a main eventer either).

But Zack Ryder has none of those qualities. He's not in the upper echelon of anything. He's just... a "dude". I can't explain what he is really, because to be honest, none of us have really seen it. First he was Little Edge, now he's a guido with a bad guido name. But even wearing a different coat of paint, he's still the same average Zack.

I don't think many people expect or even want Zack Ryder to be WWE Champion or a prominent main eventer or anything. Like I've probably mentioned, I'm not even a fan of his really. I just find it kind of backwards how a guy who would use the social media platforms WWE loves so much to get himself over in such a new, unique way, would be punished for it by being written into oblivion.

I see just as little in Ryder as anyone else, but if I were him I'd be confused and frustrated.

I highly doubt he was punished for putting himself over. But Zack would be almost as hated as Cena if WWE actually put a silly character like him over. Particularly IWC fans who constantly whine for people like him to get pushed, then immediately resent him when he gets it because he has nothing to offer.

I'm also very much against the idea WWE should have "rewarded" him for any of his Youtube stuff, completely extracurricular activities as far as I'm concerned. If making Youtube videos made WWE superstars, then wow... Boxxy would be the Trish Stratus of this generation.

Ryder is a comedy character if he changed it up and became more serious it might work personally he and Santino should get a team together the rough cobra's that wouldn't be such a bad idea.
