He's improved over time on the mic but I don't find him all that entertaining in the ring. His best gimmick to date (for me anyway) was the bully gimmick which he seemed to pull off pretty well. I don't know what kind of revival would work for him, but perhaps some time off would help. I'm not disappointed about his departure and I won't miss him much. But, I do wish him the best in whatever happens next for him.

I preferred him as the mindless idiot he was when he first debuted as Ryback.

I'll be interested to see what they do with him when he comes back.

Poor Axel. What does he do now? Same thing he was doing before - nothing. :awyeah:

Remember when Axel was worth HHH wrestling on free TV in a singles match?
Remember when the Empire had to stop the match because Axel was too much for the old headmaster? Good times.

Ryback needs some time off. He hasn't been really exciting for a good while, and maybe having less of him can fix that. He can rest, and when the time is right, then they can bring him into a proper storyline and build up hype for him again. Hope he goes to being a tweener though. Much more entertaining when he doesn't take sides with anybody and he's on his own, fighting for himself.
