There was also a spot with Titus and he was supposed to be eliminated in like one second, but they fucked it up. Vinnie Mac was furious. lol

That sounds hilarious. I'm surprised they would even waste a spot with that. What was Vince thinking? Everyone comes out looking weak, even Reigns. And why did he not put Adrian Neville in this?
Vince was thinking of breaking an elimination record with Titus, but he must've forgotten Santino has that record of being eliminated in one second. lol
Yeah, at least one NXT star should've been in the Rumble, but oh well. They must've had Neville having issues in fitting into Mighty Mouse outfit.

I don't mind that none of those guys were in it, but I wish they could have fit "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan in there somewhere. I'm usually annoyed at their constant reliance on him for nostalgia appearances, but this year it would have made sense since Rusev could have dumped him out really quickly for that extra heel heat.

He's actually one of the old timers from the 80's that I can stand the least, but it does seem every time they decide to bring him back, he still gets cheered by the modern-day audience. I'm just injecting some objectivity into it. I hate his character personally, and I still remember him having one of the worst heel turns in history in WCW in 2000.

I can't remember the crowd popping for his returns, not saying it didn't happen. He is just so bad though, I never understood how ANYONE could like him. He is the perfect representation IMO of how "simple" wrestling crowds were to please in the 80s. "well dis guy is murican and he is all bout murica so hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice wood bro!" He was fat, couldn't talk and couldn't wrestle. His most notorious move is a terrible looking shoulder block out of a sloppy ass 3 point stance. he is an embarrassment to the industry
