He lost the title to Austin Aries in a three way elimination match also involving Tyler Black on June 13th 2009 at Manhattan Mayhem.

Taz won the ECW title from Shane Douglas on January 10th 1999 at Guilty as Charged. He lost the title to Mike Awesome in a three way dance also involving Masato Tanaka on September 19th 1999 at Anarchy Rulz. He won it back on the April 13th 2000 ECW. He lost the title to Tommy Dreamer on April 22nd 2000 at Cyberslam.
