Raven was the epitome of awesomeness. He defined what it took to be hated... and his words were beyond perfect. He was the perfect heel. He turned Sandman's son against him :p

Raven for me as well. His ECW work, and some of his TNA work, was excellent and it is a shame WWE didn't take him seriously.

I mean even WCW was able to capitalize with him. Sad WWE didn't bother to.

I'm going with the Freebird. This Raven lovefest should at least be halted seeing as nobody is caring to show love to Hayes for his amazing accomplishments as well. He is also better behind the scenes. He knows which people to get to hate him, it's not just Raven being his smart ass self which is why is where he at now.

This wasn't a tough choice for me, Michael Hayes was a good Heel that had alot of talent but Raven as a Heel.... should move on.

Went with Hayes because I love flamboyant metrosexual characters.

Never really got the love for Raven.

Raven here totally loved his feuds in ECW esp with Dreamer which may be one of the best feuds in wrestling history.

It is a close match, but Hayes is my pick, loved the Freebirds.

Raven-Dreamer is a top five feud of the 90's with that said Freebirds-Von Erich's is a top 5 feud of the 80's. It's P.S. for me but it's extremely close.

Guess I'm joined the "love fest" here, Raven for me. Nothing against Hayes, but man Raven is just an amazing heel, one of my favorite ever

It has to be Michael Hayes. Raven did fine work, no one is questioning that. Hayes, on the other hand, was a national star in territorial days. The Freebird rule is such an amazing angle that never gets enough credit as a heel tactic. Lay-Cool straight ripped it off and made the women's division interesting.

Very good point, I agree.

Also you could say that Hayes had a more consistant career. While having great moments, for one reason or the other Raven didn't always sustain it. Also he is one of those guys who refused to let go of the lime light even when he was past it.
