Bertha Faye. Michael Cole played his heel gimmick greatly and is the one that runs that commentary booth. He is still good now and I find him hilarious. He can be an ass and be serious as we seen in the Lesnar match against at Extreme Rules and other times this year where he excelled greatly.

Well Bertha Faye isn't really a gimmick... whereas Cole is... and annoying. So by default Cole.

I'm going with Cole. His heel persona has ran its course and it just ruins matches and moments. He buries talent and buries segments with his "commentary" so I'm going with, as Daniel put it, a "Poor man's replacement for JR".

As much as I hated Cole the last couple of years, he's been pretty awesome this year. Bertha was just, yeah, that shouldn't have ever happened.

To be fair Scott Faye was booked in a programme with Blaze over the women's strap.

Cole shouldn't be on this list, even with his flaws this heel character has still been a huge improvement for him. Faye was awful.

Shouldn't be on the list? He ruins the product with his constant burials. He makes the show virtually unwatchable, at least without a mute button handy. If that's not the pure definition of a terrible gimmick then IDK what is. A huge improvement would be to bring back JR and dump Michael Troll.

Cole's been good really since 'Mania, I'm starting to actually like him.

Yes but Cole the 90s style Saturday morning colour man was worse. IMO the possitives out weign the negatives. Certainly don't think he's as bad as Lawler or Booker.

Lawler is a way better heel, I'll give you that but Booker on commentary is hilariously bad. There's something entertaining about him. Hell, I even find myself using "SHUCKY DUCKY QUACK QUACK!" in real life LOL. Cole just gets on my nerves, always has even before his heel turn. He's just bad. Matt Striker, Scott Stanford and Josh Mathews are better announcers IMO but really, the WWE won't ever find a suitable replacement for JR. He's the best ever, no question. Joey Styles comes close but no cigar.
