Martel had an epic heel turn but Jarrett had more staying power. Tough one but I'll go JJ.

Obviously but I'd argue JJ has been an effective heel in TNA. WCW run I try to forget.

Jarrett was on fire during the feud with Angle last year.

Rick Martel was a no mark, I honestly think people only rate him because they confuse him for Rick GOAT Rude. Solid enough in the ring, fair on the mic but nothing to stand out. Sherri was his Vickie Guerrero.

If anybody confuses Martel for Rude... they deserve to get their ass kicked.

Jeff Jarrett any day of the week, his heel work I enjoyed in wwf most.

Rick Martel would be nothing without the Model gimmick. It just an easy gimmick for him that got him quick heat. Jeff Jarrett has stayed on top of his game while playing usually a very good heel.

Am with Slim here, Mertal was the classic heel of his day, fantastic look, great gimmick and good at drawing heat without doing that much. I like Jarrett enough, but he has been very lucky.

Martel did nothing for me personally and don't see him that good of a heel. Jarrett did a good job as a heel in WWF and even was solid in the shitty time period of WCW and made for a good heel in TNA.

When Double J isn't focussing on giving himself the TNA title he can be a really, really good heel so he gets my vote.
