Kinda' hard since both really were World Champions, just not with one of the belts that determined for this poll, but I went with Gagne.
This. Went with Tenryu because Gagne created his own promotion to be a World Champion. Can't get past that.

Most people are going to pick Verne just cause there more familiar with him, which is a shame because Tenryu accomplished a lot in Japan and has some GREAT series of matches in the late 80's and early 90's.
