And if she does win? How would you feel about that?
Another Roman Reigns situation happening...
The women's division has 2 important "Rubs" going for it
at the moment...

Who wins the 1st Rumble match? (I personally want Becky or Ruby Riott to win)
&
Who ends Asuka undefeated streak? (It really should have been Ember Moon)
1) The whole point of Royal Rumble is not to give a "rub" to someone like Ronda, but to someone like Bayley. The new rising stars in the WWE. Nothing else. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the perfect example of this.
2) We're not going to talk about the streak until asuka has "Matured" her stay in the WWE roster far enough. Right now, she's on a roll. Keep it that way until you have a Undertaker situation. Otherwise, the streak will just become another "records keeping" for WWE. They're trying to push Asuka like Undertaker or the Goldberg streak. Leave it alone.
So...the way I look at it...Asuka doesn't need to win the Rumble...
& someone with the name value of Ronda Rousey doesn't either.
See, you and I agree there.
I hope the WWE realize that even if they do sign Ronda...they
need other female performers that are willing to work matches
with her & female performers that can actually get good matches
out of her.
Ronda's role is going to be to give Women's division that "rub" that it needs right now. WWE will market Ronda as part of the roster, but she'll be like Brock Lesnar.
Unless they intend to have Ronda SQUASH every other single
woman on the roster...because I'm sure that will be entertaining.
Initially, that's the plan, then it's going a different direction.
I just don't want the entire women's division to simply be used
to get Ronda over...because frankly...Ronda is already over...

She's Ronda FUCKING Rousey!
She's not going to. She's already a big star, so her role is to get the women's division over. The whole thing, and not just one star. The whole thing.

Ronda debuting at the Rumble would be nice, not sure about her actually winning, though.

It could cause a great reaction, but it could also be shades of the 2015 Royal Rumble where people might boo her because they want someone like Asuka, Becky or Sasha to win instead.

Which is the reason why she should not win it...it would
be a horrible start to her WWE run.

Of course the rumor is that 9 women from NXT will be
in the match...which could mean Ronda may not be
alone in the match itself.

Final Four...Ronda, Shayna, Asuka & Becky...I think
that could work...then you could set up the Ronda/Asuka
feud on RAW...Shayna can head back to NXT and possibly
win that title and Becky can win the Rumble itself and fight
Charlotte at Wrestlemania...its Win-Win!

Book it WWE!

Ronda winning the Rumble will upset the rest of the locker room? If that is the case then good, none of the woman are any were near the star power as Ronda. It will give the rest of woman a reason to step up their game. If they are moaning and feeling "disrespected" then they need to fucking grow up. This isn't high school cheer leading, this is the wrestling business. Get a clue girls

However I would be surprised if any of the woman would be upset. Ronda is a star, so people like Asuka Sasha Charlotte and Becky can't wait to make shit tons of money wrestling her. I'm sure that Ronda will be welcomed into the locker room by the rest of the woman with open arms and dollar signs in there eyes.

Okay RB...

Let's say you've been working a job for 5 (or 10) years. You've put in the hard
work, long hours & even given up time you would normally spend with your
family to look after the company over the years.

There is a big promotion coming up with plenty of future career opportunities
hopefully spinning out of it...and you think you have a good chance of getting
that promotion...

Only for the company to hire someone from the outside because of who they are
& their name recognition and they give them that big promotion straight out of the
gate.

How would you feel?

Should you or any person in that situation simply "Get a clue"?

However I would be surprised if any of the woman would be upset. Ronda is a star, so people like Asuka Sasha Charlotte and Becky can't wait to make shit tons of money wrestling her. That sounds pretty positive...I like it...

I dunno how I would feel about that. I suppose if i was a female wrestler (I wish lol) I would understand that Ronda is gonna be a big draw and WWE are gonna push her no matter what, cuz they like money. So instead of being bitter, I would try and find how this could benefit my career.

Ronda joining WWE will most likely benefit woman's wrestling. So I would be very excited to see what Ronda will do. If anything Rousey will increase the career opportunities for woman in wrestling.

Is there any female wrestlers who have objected against Rousey in WWE (I said wrestler not pornstars lol) If so I would be very surprised.

If Ronda is successful then WWE will elevate woman's wrestling even more. Given more TV time, better storylines...
I maybe looking at this way to positively tho.

On the flipside @Grievous:
Say that big promotion WAS Ronda.
If I was on the roster I would see Ronda as the promotion that was coming up and work to be the best and get put in a program with her and shine. Because she's coming regardless. And will be successful right out of the gate. So like Redboy said, rather than being bitter, take it as an excellent opportunity and make that the promotion in itself.

Okay...I understand that Ronda joining the WWE is a big deal & will bring a lot
of exposure & possible opportunities for the other women in the division...and
that's all well and good...

As long as the WWE doesn't simply use the rest of the division as a bunch of
jobbers & has them being squashed by Ronda every week.

I want Ronda in the WWE...I just don't want the rest of the division to become
her personal punching bags.

As much as I DON'T like Lesnar...his selling is fantastic and he made Samoa
Joe (During the build towards GBOF), Braun Strowman (@ Summerslam at least)
& A.J Styles all look very impressive even though Brock did score the win in all
those matches.

I still think the Great Balls of Fire match with Joe was too short & the No Mercy match
with Braun was pretty lame...but no one is perfect.

If they are going to bring Ronda in & immediately push her as the "Female Lesnar"
then I at least hope she will be willing to work good matches & not simply expect to
squash everyone.

I know Ronda is a "legitimate" fighter and could most likely destroy every woman on
the WWE roster...but...that is not something I'm interested in seeing.

Now granted...if they want Ronda to SQUASH Alexa in 86 seconds or less...then fine...
I'd be happy to see that...but the other ladies need to be protected & elevated even if
Ronda is going over them.

As far as I'm concerned...Ronda joining the WWE is exciting...BUT...depending on the
booking...it could completely undermine all the hard work the other ladies have put in.

It really comes down to 2 things...

How good the booking is (I'm worried)....& How good Ronda is in the ring...and we won't
really know that until she has her first match.

But there's the problem in today's world.

Say she comes in, starts squashing ladies left right and centre, and you hate it. I wouldn't blame you. But long-term, It could mean something bigger for the women's division as a whole.

In the moment, every match seems so important. A person loses, "aw they're buried! Bullshit." But people forget to look long term. I'll admit I can be guilty of that from time to time. But things could take weeks or months to play out.
Today's society gets bored of feuds that drag on for weeks or months. "Get onto the next storyline". But Then also complain When A feud is too short because "they barely got time to establish a storyline".

Just seems like someone will always complain about something

True...but I just don't trust the WWE to tell or build a long-term story...
and it also depends how long Rhonda is signed for. I mean...if she
signs a long term 3 or 4 year deal...then yeah...that gives the WWE
time. If she only signs for a year...then what do you really expect to
happen?

In the moment, every match seems so important. A person loses, "aw they're buried! Bullshit." But people forget to look long term.
I'm just going to point at Carmella as an example of how the long
term doesn't really matter if the WWE continue to be book a performer
to look like a complete jobber.

While Carmella has the MitB briefcase...she only won 4 televised singles
matches last year...and 3 of them were against jobbers...and none of
those wins were clean.

Today's society gets bored of feuds that drag on for weeks or months. "Get onto the next storyline".
I know I personally don't want to see the same matches every week...
just look at what the RAW booking team has done with Absolution.

Every week since Paige walked back in...its been Absolution vs. some
variation of Sasha, Bayley or Mickie...and its fucking boring.

But Then also complain When A feud is too short because "they barely got time to establish a storyline".
The only feud I think wasn't given enough time recently was Lesnar vs. Joe...
but honestly...with the amount of performers the WWE has...there is no reason
why they need to drag feuds out to the point of people not caring.

Just seems like someone will always complain about something.
Well yeah...it happens with any form of media entertainment...

Movies, Video Games, Music, TV Shows...You can't please everyone.

I have my own ideas about what I'd like to see...but I'm sure most people do...
but I do tend to be more vocal about that than others.

I have to be honest...I am just happy the women are getting a Rumble match...
and I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

But...I just hope the WWE puts in the time & effort to make it a great Rumble
match...not simply be happy with the fact its simply happening.

That's why I think she is gonna be a good heel. The smarky fans won't like her so she could get heat for being a female version of Brock. Imagine Paul Heyman hyping a match between Charlotte and Ronda. Could main event a ppv. Now that's good for woman's wrestling

Nooo thanks. Keep heyman away from her. She would be better off by herself i think. Just let her cut promos with whatever comes to mind. Play up the "I'm a real fighter" shtick and she'll be good
