Royal Rumble Ronda Rousey To Debut At The Women's Royal Rumble

A lot of buzz has been going around with Ronda Rousey and the WWE and I think the news is finally here on what we can expect in the near future. Ronda has just met again with WWE executives again which is pointing to the rumor of her debut happening at the Women's Royal Rumble match.

This to me makes sense because it is the first ever one to take place and they want it to be a big deal. Having someone like Ronda step in will draw in a larger audience just to see how she does and it will put a bigger spotlight on the women's match in general which is something they need to happen. A lot of people, fans even, are not taking the match seriously and are considering it a stand in "break" for the PPV. Her entrance will be something that helps push people to want to watch it and want to see what happens next.

The women's rumble is going to be shit but at least using it as a vehicle to launch Ronda justifies it's existence.

How they should do this is have Paul Heyman come out in the midst of the rumble match and confuse the crap out of people. Have him announce her and have him manage her.

It would be GOLD.

There could be that possibility of her winning. Even if she doesn't, It will be great to finally see her in the ring competing . IMO

Not interested with her WWE hype at all, I was not a fan of her back in the UFC. But I guess it's inevitable at this point, so yeah just let her debut during the Women Rumble, that would make the most sense.

If she is in it I think she will win it. And face Charlotte at WM. They want the big draws at WM. The draws that will bring in lapsed fans and never-before fans. Ronda can bring in both.

While I want Ronda in the WWE...I think having her simply walk in
& win the first women's Rumble would be an insult to the other
women, some who have been with the company for years.

Much like Asuka...Ronda doesn't need to be in Rumble or win it...
while there are many other women on the roster who would benefit
greatly from winning the Rumble match.

And the idea of Ronda winning & facing Charlotte isn't happening
because Charlotte is on SmackDown...and SmackDown is seen
as the "B-Show"

If Ronda wins...I'm guessing Asuka will win the RAW women's title
between the Rumble & Mania (Elimination Chamber?) & then they
will book Ronda/Asuka for Wrestlemania...which will most likely lead
to Ronda winning the title & breaking Asuka's streak...which again...
in my opinion...would be the worst possible thing that could happen.

Its a double edged sword...I want Ronda in the WWE...but I don't want
any of the other women swept aside or buried in the process.

The issue is that only way they will book her is as a female Brock. Remember how he broke a streak?

Expect nothing less from WWE. I love Asuka and I certainly hope they don't use her streak as a launching pad for Ronda. But I can't see it not happening.

The women's division has 2 important "Rubs" going for it
at the moment...

Who wins the 1st Rumble match? (I personally want Becky or Ruby Riott to win)
&
Who ends Asuka undefeated streak? (It really should have been Ember Moon)

So...the way I look at it...Asuka doesn't need to win the Rumble...
& someone with the name value of Ronda Rousey doesn't either.

And frankly...the idea of Ronda winning the Rumble & breaking
Asuka's streak makes me feel kind of sick.

I hope the WWE realize that even if they do sign Ronda...they
need other female performers that are willing to work matches
with her & female performers that can actually get good matches
out of her.

Unless they intend to have Ronda SQUASH every other single
woman on the roster...because I'm sure that will be entertaining.

I just don't want the entire women's division to simply be used
to get Ronda over...because frankly...Ronda is already over...

Start a storyline about who is the more superior female fighter. Because although scripted Trish was huge in WWE.

There's a match that would draw many eyes. And be a high profile match to get rousey over if she plans to stay a little while.
