ROH isn’t even remotely close to being dead. If anything I think it’s gonna be a renewed interest for them they haven’t had since the elite left in 2018.

i think this is more of an attempt for it to return to the pre nxt days when it was still a respectable fed. I mean no disrespect, but ROH was dying a slow death even before the pandemic and had lost all credibility. this is more trying to revive the old glory as opposed to sticking rainbow paint on it. my 2 cents tho ofc

This is true but what’s funny about that is Tony is pretty much the one that put them on the path to a slow death he absolutely eviscerated ring of honor.

nah i disagree, nxt raided them and they werent doing fuck all. they were bottling their njpw partnership (see enzo and cass incident) and the msg show was good njpw with mediocre roh talent. they needed the elite, not the other way around. and if they didnt create aew they go to wwe and roh dies in the pandemic just the same.

They did need the Elite, that’s my point. With the Elite and the NJPW partnership, they were doing better than even before NXT came around.

ROH in 2016-2018 was a great product and fans were all about it. Using partnerships well shouldn’t be a knock. Impact is currently doing that well and honestly if that talent went away, they’d also hurt.
