ROH Star Out 9-12 Months

-- Mike Mondo announced over the weekend that after getting a second opinion, he suffered a broken fibula at the Glory By Honor iPPV. While he will not need surgery, the recovery time will be anywhere from 9-12 months.

This is a little old, but a topic was never made, and I figured this would be a good one to discuss Mondo and how much (at least that I believe) he's improved this year.

Yeah this really sucks as the guy had been making a name for himself and will lose that momentum.

I've been really enjoying the guy lately, he didn't really impress me so much earlier this year, but he got himself crazy over with the ROH crowd at least and that got them to turn him face, and he's had some very impressive matches with top guys. Sucks to see him out so long.

It sucks because finally he was able to get himself over and get himself a contract working with ROH regularly and then he is out for a year. I find it odd that a broken leg can heal without surgery, surely getting surgery would cut down the recovery from a year. Hopefully after the year he can get himself back to the level he was at before the injury.

the guy is solid.it sucks that hes out because there definately woulda been big opportunities for him.somebodies gotta get pinned by steen at each ppv.
