ROH GLORY BY HONOR NIGHT ONE TIP SHEET

Ring of Honor will present Glory by Honor 2021 tonight on Honorclub and
FITE.TV from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Here is our take on what should go down in the City of Brotherly Love:
ROH Champion Bandido vs. Flip Gordon.
Dave: This should be really good but since Bandido just won the belt, I don't see them changing the Title.
Mike: Gordon is an interesting choice for Bandido's first challenger, but I don't see there being a title change here. I expect a strong, fun match with a lot of big spots, unless they decide to have Rush try to enforce his will as the former champion.
Richard: Bandido should retain this one. Flip will get a number of chances, but it will not be enough. His rise to the top will fall flat.
ROH Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Rhett Titus.
Dave: Gresham has been on fire since he won the Title. I expect a great match with him retaining.
Mike: This is a great showcase for Titus to go long and hard and show how strong he can be against his Foundation brethren Gresham. However, Gresham is in the top 1% of scientific wrestlers in the ring today and in the end, he retains.
Richard: This match should feature a lot of honorable stuff since it is a Pure Title match and they are both in the Foundation. Titus should have a strong showing, but Gresham might be the BEST IN THE WORLD (gotta get it in before someone trademarks it).
Violence Unlimited (Homicide & Brody King & Chris Dickinson & Tony Deppen) vs. La Faccion (Dragon Lee & Kenny King & Rush & Bestia del Ring)
Dave: I think Violence will both be the story of the match and the winner.
Mike: YES PLEASE. This should be a lot of fun. My guess is Bestia del Ring takes the loss here so the other members of La Faccion can stay strong. This is my pick for the dark horse match of the night.
Richard: The team with a lot of vowels missing should get the win in this one. I would have Homicide or Dickinson get the pin on King.
The Briscoes vs. The Righteous.
Dave: I think we see The Briscoes use their goodwill to help elevate The Righteous. If that happens, it means something.
Mike: This should be a HELL of a brawl. To me, this will be the first chance that Dutch really gets to mix it up with top ROH stars and show how badass he can be. I'd like to see the Righteous go over so they can build a feud here and maybe have the Briscoes back Matt Taven and give him a little grit.
Richard: Briscoes should win this one, but if they want to shock the crowd a bit, let The Righteous go over. No better way to establish yourselves than to beat the best tag team in ROH history.
Six Man Mayhem: Danhausen vs. PJ Black vs. Mike Bennett vs. Demonic Flamita vs. Eli Ison vs. Dak Draper.
Mike: Lots of interesting prospects here as future challengers. Dak Draper has been a real workhorse of late and I'd like to see him get that chance to continue to stand out.
Richard: This one is a toss up, but I will agree with Mike and say Draper gets the win.
Dave: Since Mike and Rich went with Draper, I will be contrary and go with Danhausen.
Brian Johnson vs. EC3.
Dave: Gonna flip a coin here because I could see it going either way, for good reason. Heads says Johnson wins.
Mike: Johnson is a great talker and someone ROH has used a bit more. I can see him giving EC3 a strong match before losing and becoming even more embittered.
Richard: Will the third member of the Randy Orton/Karrion Kross evolutionary chart get the win against Brian Johnson? I think Johnson gets the upset victory.
Rey Horus vs. Silas Young.
Dave: I say Horus wins since Young is already established as what he is in the company.
Mike: This is an interesting clash of styles to say the least. My gut says Horus gets the win.
Richard: Horus has had some decent performances lately so he is my pick for this match.
The Allure vs. Vita Vonstarr & mystery partner.
Mike: I don't see ROH bringing in a mystery partner and then having them lose, so I am going with Team Vita!
Dave: What Mike said.
Richard: They are really using the Yuji Nagata as 'Mystery Partner' gimmick a little too much so they don't give away that he will be on the show. I say the mystery partner really ends up being Quinn McKay and she pins Angelina.
