FIRST EVER SILAS YOUNG VS. REY HORUS BOUT ANNOUNCED BY ROH

Ring of Honor announced the following:

SILAS YOUNG, REY HORUS MEET FOR FIRST TIME AT GLORY BY HONOR NIGHT 1

Silas Young and Rey Horus have never crossed paths in ROH, but that will change when they square off at Glory By Honor Night 1 on Aug. 20 at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena.

The match has implications for the ROH World Television Title rankings.

Horus, who came within an eyelash of defeating Dragon Lee for the title earlier this year, is ranked No. 3 in the division.

Young, a two-time former ROH World Television Champion, is unranked. A victory over Horus would put him back in contention.

Horus has been on a roll as of late, while Young is coming off a hard-fought loss to former protégé Josh Woods in a Last Man Standing Match at Best in the World last month.

It's live and without commercials, Emergence is taped and smackdown has commercials. So this is my preferred choice before Rampage lol

The night one card looks better than night two to me so I might watch it over Emergence and SmackDown. Smart play putting that out first.

With Night 2 being a lesser card, IMO of course, it makes sense to let that night get smoked by SummerSlam. I'll most likely be watching SS.

Still, SmackDown AND Emergence, ROH not doing themselves any favors. The amount of people still watching ROH is low and to make them choose.

Yeah I think in the case of both this show and Emergence they assume next to no one is watching live but since their streaming service shows just assume people will watch later or something.

Next weekend has NWA PPVs 2 nights in a row, I would have 100% went against that instead lmao
