Well, then we're not getting this shoved down our throats at WM again, at least. Sounds good. We'd probably get a random Cena feud and clean win at ER anyway burying someone, this is better and gets the rematch clause out of the way.

Why should he leave? Because you don't want him there?

The dude obviously loves the WWE but he has another passion as well. Who are we to deny a man one of his passions in life when he can work both? By that logic Jericho should leave and never come back as well since he has a successful rock band, hosts a variety of TV shows and write a couple of books.

The fans love the Rock and he loves doing wrestling. I say let him do it. It's not Dwayne's fault that he has only wrestled two guys so far but rather the booking of the WWE who seem to think that he cannot wrestle anyone else than Cena and Punk.

The Rock can't cut a decent promo this days to save his life. He's a pathetic washed up has been. Don't care how great he was, Cena and Punk surpassed him ON SO MANY LEVELS.

Rock draws more than both of those though, I've decided Cena for months on here but surpassed Rock? That's crazy hyperbole IMO, he's on his level but not above him plus Rock's crowd control is the best in the business. He got people chanting Cookie Puss and Fruity pebbles for god's sake.

He does. He actually does. The Rock is the 4th highest paid actor in Hollywood and arguably the hardest working. His following is huge and they follow him to whatever he does. When he wrestles WWE gets ratings.

The Rock is a legend, I just don't get you saying that he needs to leave, everyone wants The Rock to stay as long as possible.
I agree that he is not as great as he used to be either on the mic or in the ring, but it's totally normal considering it's been about 8 full years since he was a full-timer, and tbh I thought his promo on RAW was really awesome, him and Cena had a segment that was better than their 1-year "once in a lifetiime" feud.

Even those of us who are tired of seeing the part-timers can't deny the buzz that WWE had when Rock won the title, or how much better the ratings have been since Punk lost it. His work's been horrible, his promos boring at times, but don't see how you aren't happy with Rock sticking around just to help the business.

Maybe after Mania WWE can do something to get these new eyes returning to the product to get behind more guys on the roster besides Cena, Punk, and to a lesser extent ADR and Swagger.

Oh why hello there my friend :eek:tunga:

Now, people know I'm not a fan of Rock's work on the ring or on the mic (mostly) these days. I don't really like seeing him. Considering he's going to work with Cena again, tbh, I just want him to finish up (this storyline/his title "reign") and leave, maybe come back next year to put a young star over. But I, for one, don't really want to see Rock for an extended time period these days.

I actually think it's smart they haven't rushed all of Rock's matches all at once like they did with Hulk Hogan in 2002, burning him out in the process. They've slow burned Lesnar and The Rock's matches and feuds and it preserves the novelty/special attraction aspect of them a bit. It's why I don't mind The Rock missing a Raw or two during his title reign either.

Hey Leo. I love you man. :eek:tunga: :gusta:
It's not that I disagree with you, I know exactly how you feel, I too am desperate about his feud with Cena and want him to do something else during his time in the WWE, but he is still a legend that we all want to see working as many shows as possible.
I blame it in WWE that Rock being in the ring is not as electric as it used to be 9 years ago, they are insisting on involving him in a feud with Cena that nobody even cares about, and his on mic and in ring rust isn't helping either.
But it's still better imo than seeing Cena alone reigning supreme above all the roster as WWE Champion for the 74th time.
