I'll go back to watching his movies if I see it on TV, I'm not going to go on some personal boycott because homie couldn't deal with life.

I'll still like Hook.....Nothing new tho, those just sucked,

I know they're drama movies and people probably find them overrated, but fuck I love Good Will Hunting and Dead Poet's Society so much. I'll remember him most as Genie though.

I find it funny how people like to bitch about human "rights." There's really people out there that think it is a "God Given Right" to be able to own firearms. Yet they shit on people who decide to take their life? Isn't it ultimately your right to decide if you want to live or die? No one can dictate your life but yourself. It is your right. Suicide is a decision. And people have the right to make that decision.

I will remember him most as Genie. Aladdin still to this day is my favorite animated movie of all time. The Family Guy episode where Peter turns everyone into Robin Williams came on last night and I'll be damned if it wasn't just a little hard to watch.

It's also their "god given right" to be against that decision.

Yeah Tapout, no one's saying people don't have the right to take their lives in this thread.

You can't judge a man's whole life on one act. Yeah that may be a horrible act. But he did a helluva lot of good before doing it.

I'll miss his movies. I want to watch Dead Poet Society but with it's subject matter and what's happened...

When did I say I was boycotting his movies?

My issue is the fact some assholes feel that I have to act a certain way. My original comment was that I felt no need to pay any respect, because I don't agree with suicide. I have every right to my opinion of every single person who has committed suicide proves to be a waste of space, especially when said person had access to the money to actually get help in the capitalist healthcare system and could have thought about his loved ones instead of himself for a change and possibly found some happiness or a reason to live, but this selfish asshole cuts his wrists, then hangs himself when that was taking too long, potentially causing trauma to his loved ones leaving such a fucking graphic memory. This person sure sounds like someone who deserves my respect, and who should be resting in peace right?

I watched Hamlet from 1996 the other day and had no idea Williams was in it until his couple scenes in the end. Really made up for the movie being meh because his character was pretty great.

Nah, this was a more unpopular one, but supposedly better (haven't seen the Gibson one). It was like scene for scene with the play though and lasted FOREVER. If I didn't know the story it would have been fine, but I already knew it (like I assume most people do a little at least), so it was just details they could have left out.

Hated Hamlet....a weak character who needed a backbone.

Romeo and Juliet tho, that was my highschool shiz. I was a Tybalt fan, Leguizamo was the shit and Leo was ghey, but Claire Danes was hot.

I really just love the premise of Hamlet though. A fucking guy kills his brother and takes his wife and kingdom GOAT heel move tbh
