Actress Joan Plowright has passed away at 95 years old. She co-starred with Judi Dench in Tea with Mussolini, Merchant of Venice (1973), and Equus (1977). She earned a BAFTA nomination for her performance in Equus.

She co-starred in numerous plays with her then-husband Laurence Olvier. Aside from her movie and theater roles, she did voice work in the animated movie Curious George (2006).
