You make a very good point when you say that.

Guess Ricardo as a manager would be the right way to go.

main reason i don't want him to be a wrestler, even if he does the best dropkick in the business. i don't want him jobbing to hornswoggle much rather him take the big bumps like a BOSS. and get backstage love for it.

I'd love to see them give it a try, but the history with managers don't end well. Ricardo is awesome and hope he continues to do some funny segments, but not yet should he be used. I'll be shocked if they don't use him at a wrestler at some point in his career. I'm not sure where it would go, but I can totally see Ricardo be like Alex Riley and beat up Del Rio. Hopefully he doesn't land in the dog house.

He took a huge bump in that Triple Threat match at TLC. Got praised for it.

Manager or Wrestler, he is well-liked backstage. Guess we'll have to wait and see if he does wrestle or not.

This is such a silly thread to make. Ricardo won't buck the trend and become a frequent wrestler, no matter how talented the guy apparently is. Clearly the WWE is aware that he can wrestle, but they don't want him to on television. That stance will never change and you'll have to deal with that.

End.

Love the guy in his current role as a lacky be dumb to make him a full time wrestler where he would get lost in the midcard when he is gold right now.

I think he should be allowed to compete and use the mic. The guy is a heat magnet and has the talent to back it up. Move him to Smackdown and he could be king of the midcard as a singles competitor or tag. I'd see greater success for him in a tag team with occasional singles appearances. The guy has amazing potential and his build is similar to that of SuperCrazy. With the WWE focusing more on people that can wrestle and less of the monster body builder types he actually would have a chance. Just DON'T turn the guy face. He deserves a shot, considering he's the main thing keeping Del Rio over with any heat at all.

I agree, when Ricardo wasn't there one time and Del Rio came out he didn't get much of a reaction to be honest.

I'm agreeing on your post there Blu

The guy is a heat magnet, there's no doubt about it, but Vickie Guerrero is a heat magnet as well, which makes her a perfect manager. If Ricardo is ever going to get anywhere with the WWE, it'd be as a manager to an up-and-coming superstar to eventually elevate them to the level Del Rio is currently at. Ricardo could also be used to introduce a new addition to the WWE roster, likely somebody being elevated from FCW.

I still think it's stupid to think he would be able to go from a manager, who is tossed around everytime he's in the ring and Del Rio isn't defending him, to actually doing anything of note on his own. That's not his fault, it's how he'd be booked, and I truly cannot see the WWE even putting him in a tag team let alone giving him an average singles run. It just shouldn't happen for his sake and fortunately won't happen

I agree with Aniking.

Ricardo can make himself up to a great manager in WWE but if he wants to wrestler he needs to go somewhere else.

Great discussions here.

Do you guys think he'll manage anyone else? How long do you think he'll continue to manage Del Rio?

I don't think he should wrestle, he is fine where he is. He has alot of potential to become an actual superstar but I would prefer him stay with the role he has, he does a great job at it so why stop now?

Chavo's too good to be managed and I highly doubt he'd ever come back.

If anything I'd rather have Hunico be managed by Ricardo.

Chavo is too good alone to be managed, I agree. I wouldn't want to see Hunico get managed by Ricardo either, what about Ricardo managing Primo & Epico?
