We noted yesterday that the latest word is that Ric Flair may not appear on TV but will definitely be in attendance at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. According to sources, WWE and TNA have been in negotiations over Flair appearing.

It is said that TNA isn’t asking for much in return from WWE. According to sources, TNA is very open to letting Flair appear at the event. The issue seems to be on WWE's end.

As of this writing, there is no word yet on what TNA is asking for. You can almost bet that WWE will not promote TNA in any way, shape or form. It's possible that TNA will get some sort of compensation for allowing WWE to use their contracted talent. That is not confirmed though.

Another WWE source notes that The Rock's reference to Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair on last week's RAW without mentioning TNA is an indication that in WWE's universe, TNA does not even exist.

Of course they don't want to acknowledge TNA, they wouldn't want their fans tuning into a real wrestling show.

seems a bit daft to announce Flair and then try to sort out whether he can appear or not.

Cena mentioned the other company when McMahon was gonna fire him for losing to punk.

I don't remember it being a direct reference like "I'll go to TNA". I think he said something about "making an impact somewhere else" or something like that.

He said like "If you try to stop me from doing what I love I'll show up on someone else's television show and continue to do it brother."
