I thought this would be a temporary thing to get Sting retired at Revolution 2024.

As someone who went the extra mile to travel to Nashville for a weekend and watch "Ric Flair's Last Match" I would be irked (not shocked) if Ric Flair competed in an AEW ring... but with a multi-year deal, that had to be promised, right?

I just don't see much value in him being signed for multiple years unless it's to keep him from WWE?


And then the big question... does this matter in regards to Charlotte and her WWE status? Andrade and his AEW status? Those are the bigger questions we need to be asking.
