During an appearance on the Live Audio Wrestling radio show in Canada, Ric Flair sounded off on fellow WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, saying:

"He is a pissant in the history of wrestling. He has the nerve to compare himself to me. Let's get realistic. If you put Bret Hart in your left hand and me in your right hand, compare the career...who is he? I wrestled everybody in the business, for an hour each night. Harley Race, Dory Funk, Jack and Jerry Brisco, who is Bret Hart? He is a legend in his own mind. He lives in his own little world...he screws his own family around. Who is Bret Hart? In my world he is a nobody!"

The bad blood between the two apparently began in 2005 when Bret referred to Flair as "the most overrated guy in the history of the business."

Bolded and underlined for TRUTH. I NEVER like Bret Hart and swear he is the most OVERRATED guy EVER in the business.

and the bigger dick contest between these two continues. I get why Flair has a beef with Bret, him SHITTING ON THE BUSINESS AND ALL, but whats Brett got against Flair? Other than Ric calling him on his bullshit? I do wish they'd just get into a slap fight and end it though.

I was listening to that live, and the funny thing is, Bret was also on the show earlier. In his interview, he actually admitted that Flair was one of the greatest of all time, but as an entertainer. Most people who called in agreed with Bret that between the two, Bret was the better technically, but even Bret admited he was never as strong as Flair with promos. Bret also explained that the saying "The Best there is, the Best there was, and the Best there ever will be" was his way of stating about how he never injured anyone he ever worked with. How he took pride in taking care of his opponents in the ring to make sure they both would walk away.

Flair later did say what was posted in the original post, however the last quote was not "he screws his own family" it was "he sells out his own family"

The overall feeling on the show was Bret was the better wrestler but Flair was the better entertainer and when you take into consideration there years in the buisness, etc, you had to believe that Flair was definatly the bigger name.

Wow. Me & Flair actually have something in common.

P.S. Hart is the better wrestler and Flair is the better entertainer of the two.

I'd still say Flair was the better wrestler, mostly because Bret Hart only went sixty minutes with Shawn Michaels. Flair could go sixty minutes with Shark Boy if he wanted to.

This has gotten to the point where its pretty much this..

Lol, Bret Hart. Lol, Ric Flair.

And a damn shame since BOTH of them are among the best in-ring performers of all time.

Lol, as bad as that sounds, I'd pay to watch it :azn:

But here's one for you: Could Ric Flair go sixty minutes with Nathan Jones? That'd be tough, even for Ric Flair!

Whenever I hear of Bret Hart, I can only think of this one phrase:

BRET SCREWED BRET.
